Just over here smiling throughout the video that you guys are experiencing this lifestyle now! We thought we'd only spend 6 months on the road ourselves...it's oddly addicting. 2 years so far!

Caitlin Gee I’m only going off of what I can tell in the video, there only seems to be one camera and they don’t have mouth guards in at any point. Here’s my reasoning: 2:33 you can hear Nate breathing open mouthed and when he says “no pressure” it sounds like something is in his mouth. At 2:31 there is nothing. At 3:14 is the drooling part 😂 and you can hear Kara breathing hard with something in her mouth similar to what Nate was doing. But I could be totally wrong here!
Y’all have blown me away with van life, during this crazy time y’all have been doing so much amazing stuff all while supporting small business and it’s just awesome!!!!
That’s a also a small percentage of the the overall hikers. If you stay on the trail there is low risk of death. Death would be risked with low water and heart issues.
I wish everyone who is reading this to have a incredible day, week, month, year, even life. There may have been “some” rough days in the past couple months. But I believe that every individual will thrive no matter the circumstances they may be surrounded by, whether it’s today or tomorrow, it’ll happen some day in the foreseeable future. I don’t care, if you’ve got black or white skin, are Muslim, or Christian. Race does not matter. What does matter, to me, and the whole world, is your heart. Your mind. Your soul, and you are loved by 7.6 billion people, which most definitely includes me. “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, or even touched, but must be felt with the heart.” - Helen Keller
This is the first wholesome thing I have seen in a long time! And you have 7.6 billion people loving you! Stay safe good soul! Have a great day and don't let this pandemic get the best of you!
You're spot on. That is what the Lord Jesus Christ teaches: "...for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart." - 1 Samuel 16:7 God bless and keep you all safe 🙏
I'm a little obsessed with your life. Over the past 3 months I watched every video you posted. I'm all caught up now and eagerly anticipate each new vlog. You are living my dream and I am so thankful that you share your adventures, your experiences and your bloops with us.
This is amazing guys! Thanks for keep sharing your journey and positivity with us, even during this crazy pandemic. WE NEED IT! This is making me itching to get out there with a camper van! Hopefully soon - fingers crossed!!
Welcome, again to Colorful Colorado. We are honored to have you in our beautiful state. Showers can be such an issue. It sounds like the water capacity and dumping isn't great. Palisade is definitely the place for wine and fruit in Colorado. If you get a chance, The Black Canyon of the Gunnison is SO nice. Thank you all for sharing.
Fill up at truck stops and you get free showers. Truck stop showers are VERY clean, super nice. Once you try one you'll be hooked. The best thing is both can use it. As a retired trucker one of the best things of life on the road was that super hot shower at the end of the day.
If you lived Colorado, you’ll love Utah just as much if not more. Zion’s National Park is a must and during this hot time of year, once you get into Zion’s Canyon, it cools down a little. You’ll definitely cool down if you hike the narrows and you’ll get some amazing video footage. When hiking the narrows in Zion’s, you hike through a stream. Absolutely stunning.
Think beer bong. Funnel, a few feet of tube, and some holes in the funnel for some sort of hooks on the funnel to mount it near your drain. Viola - your own sewer line.
I live in Colorado and my mom and I LOVE watching you guys. I had no idea Vail was so pretty! Who knew I only lived 3 hours from this gorgeous destination. Now I just need to convince my mom to come with me 😉
I don't know how I came across your travels but I'm truly hooked and I can't really wait for the next video to be uploaded. You guys are one of the main reasons why I started making new humble and shy travel vlogs. LOVE!
3 year watching you guys today! Never ever stop making videos, every week I'm sitting there waiting and waiting and opening to see if you guys posted. Even though I know you guys won't post daily. I wish you guys could post more up to date from when you guys filmed it atlas or even the night after. It's pretty difficult to have this video filmed a week or two before it's posted.
Kara: "We just finished driving down what seemed like the grand canyon." Me: Can barely contain myself for when y'all find the crazy helicopter ride into the actual Grand Canyon!
Kara and Nate, I am a Colorado native and I am so happy you all are having such a good time in my home state. I live in Aspen and I think you all would love it here. Independence Pass into Aspen is definitely one of the prettiest drives in the state if you enjoy driving on scenic roads.
You have made my day here in Stage 4 lockdown Melbourne, Australia! I lived in Palisade for 12 months in 2013 when I did a teacher exchange. That area is the home of my heart and such a beautiful area. Seeing you experience it for the first time brought back all my wonderful memories of the hikes, drives and fun I had there that year and in my visits since. It is winter and we are locked down tightly here in Melbourne - thank you for reminding me of this wonderful place and making me feel warm with memories 🥰🥰🥰 Enjoy the wonder of Colorado!!
If you guys liked that drive thru the park, you HAVE TO go to Utah and explore the state for like a month! It's the most beautiful state I have been to! You absolutely NEED to go to Zion, as well as arches, canyonlands, salt flats, and all the rest of the national parks! I promise it will end up being one of your favorite places.
Just want to say that 3 Aussies....my husband myself and our friend who lived in the USA, also went through the Colorado Monument NP as well on our Harleys in 2014, part of our road trip through 10 USA states while also attending the Sturgis bike rally... middle America has some fantastic sights... look forward to seeing your adventures continuing xxx
Kara I'm so glad you got to try mountain biking for the first time! It is not easy at all and you are such a warrior! The next time you ride downhill, try lifting your bum off the seat and shifting your weight slightly towards the back of the bike. Stay light on the handlebars by dropping your heals towards the ground and bracing your feet against the pedals. Feather the brakes to avoid locking the wheels and skidding. Don't lock your elbows and brake before a turn rather than in the turn. Believe me when I tell you, you will feel so much more comfortable and confident going down if you can apply these basic techniques. Maintaining stability is so incredibly important in preventing a crash and I just want you to stay safe girl! 💖🌻🌈
Kind of like when they go traipsing along rocky trails/ice fields/cliffs, with thousand foot drops right next to them. I’m literally yelling at the tv, “get down from there, right now!“
I've seen your posts on Facebook, and now I want to binge watch again your videos but I forgot your Facebook Page name. 😭 Now I searched the phrase on UA-cam "Why we can't stay on the Philippines" because that's what I remember on watching one of your posts. And successfully I FOUND YOU! I love you both! Stay safe! And continue the love! 💜
I passed the whole day of yesterday watching your vlogs of 3 years ago in Europe. Me as a travel vlogger like you guys, that was like an overdoses of drug content🤤
You're supposed to stand up while descending on a Mountain Bike btw. It allows you to shift your weight around which gives you a little bit more maneuverability and suspension as the bike shifts below you. My boyfriend and I have gotten into mountain biking this year and we absolutely love it! There's a bunch of MTB UA-camrs with tons of great tips too.
It's crazy how much more to Van life there is. Granted, I knew very little, but somehow I didn't expect there to be so many things that needed to be maintained. However, I'm SO glad you got the Harvest Host membership. I think Vineyards are some of the most beautiful places to be (here's looking at you, Bob & Gina), so I can't wait to see all the ones you stop at! Especially if you get to California! 🍷🍷
Received 6pm GMT🇬🇧. THANKYOU. My weekend is made ps is there anything Kara can’t do? She always overcomes her apprehensions and strives to live outside her comfort zone. She just goes for it and I love that about her. I always aim to be more adventurous every time I travel. 😍🙋🏾♀️
Nate... the reason your fridge burned out, and you are running out of juice is that the fridge compressor cooling radiator looking thing needs to be ventilated!! A refrigerator is a heat exchanger. You were pumping heat out of the refrigerator and into the environment. But if it’s an enclosed space it can’t work well enough then it runs all the time and drains your battery and doesn’t keep you from keeping the fridge on maximum just to maintain basic cooling function. I would suggest cutting a giant hole next to the door on the passenger side of the fridge and put it in a large screen Square ventilator fixture that you can buy in any hardware store. Enjoy your experiences. I have done a lot of camping and I must say I enjoy seeing you suffer. Reminds me of why hotels are the best!:)
We travel from NC every summer to volunteer at Ridgway State Park, 20 miles south of Montrose. Never get tired of traveling through Glenwood Pass and the stunning views of Palisade. The owners of River Bend RV park are great folks. Safe travels.

As a native Coloradan it’s super cool to see you guys checking out lesser known places like the monument! Palisades is a hidden gem and the monument and the Grand Junction area is one of the prettiest in the state, but is never talked about. And of course Glenwood canyon is amazing as well.
Great video. My old stomping grounds, sort of. Lived in Colorado just an hour east of Palisades for about 10 years. First saw CNM in 1990 on vacation from CA with my kids. The beauty of that area is what prompted us to lease our home in CA and move to Colorado! I’m loving your van life series so far. Y’all know how to turn negative stuff into positive & adventuresome and keep on smiling. The best! ❤️💕❤️
Went through that valley nearly 20 years ago, enjoyed a good wine, and wonderfully dark skies just across the line in Utah. Stars are amazing. Day scenery is amazing. Creation is amazing.

Same for you wonderful man❤️
Hope the same is for you ❤️ Life is hard rn
Thank you so much! i'm definitely feeling the love
You're spot on.
That is what the Lord Jesus Christ teaches:
"...for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart."
- 1 Samuel 16:7
God bless and keep you all safe 🙏
I'm a little obsessed with your life. Over the past 3 months I watched every video you posted. I'm all caught up now and eagerly anticipate each new vlog. You are living my dream and I am so thankful that you share your adventures, your experiences and your bloops with us.
This is amazing guys! Thanks for keep sharing your journey and positivity with us, even during this crazy pandemic. WE NEED IT! This is making me itching to get out there with a camper van! Hopefully soon - fingers crossed!!
YES! Me and my boyfriend want to do this too!

The kiss with the mask on made me laugh out loud 😂 so adorable
Lol awkward times 😷
@@KaraandNate I love y'all so much!!
Fill up at truck stops and you get free showers. Truck stop showers are VERY clean, super nice. Once you try one you'll be hooked. The best thing is both can use it. As a retired trucker one of the best things of life on the road was that super hot shower at the end of the day.
Everyone else: aww man it’s Sunday me: waking up up with the best mood and staring at my recomended wait for Kara and nate
2:51 Kara, I love the perfect use of a match cut. I was so impressed when I saw that I watched it a few times over. Keep it up!
nice!!
Yay, you did the monument drive!!! We lived in Grand Junction and loved it!!!
There will be who knows how many more best nights of van life! Take advantage of them all! And love each other through the nights that aren’t best.
Kara and Nate are my favourite travel Chanel they make everything seem so real and I binge watch these everyday I hope they can travel to England❤️
Think beer bong. Funnel, a few feet of tube, and some holes in the funnel for some sort of hooks on the funnel to mount it near your drain. Viola - your own sewer line.
Covid 19 stopped everyone but it failed to stop you from chasing your passion...loved the positive spirit..you both made it...nice watching you
I live in Colorado and my mom and I LOVE watching you guys.
LOVE!
Mazin Ridha awww thats really sweet
@@samya.s thanks!
Can we see what the towns look like when you go through them?

3 year watching you guys today! Never ever stop making videos, every week I'm sitting there waiting and waiting and opening to see if you guys posted. Even though I know you guys won't post daily. I wish you guys could post more up to date from when you guys filmed it atlas or even the night after. It's pretty difficult to have this video filmed a week or two before it's posted.
Kara: "We just finished driving down what seemed like the grand canyon."
Me: Can barely contain myself for when y'all find the crazy helicopter ride into the actual Grand Canyon!
Kara should I quit youtube my friends keep making fun of me for it
@@MatthewMilton no I'm not Kara but don't do it if you injoy doing it keep it up.
@@MatthewMilton get better friends! You might like them but they're not supporting you. Find other people, who don't knock you down.
Kara and Nate, I am a Colorado native and I am so happy you all are having such a good time in my home state. I live in Aspen and I think you all would love it here. Independence Pass into Aspen is definitely one of the prettiest drives in the state if you enjoy driving on scenic roads.
Next video title im guessing: "Sleeping in the middle of a desert" LOL
Cooking meth in van in desert.
ua-cam.com/video/Hvc606obYIM/v-deo.html
Lol oh no!
What a guess 👏. 😂😂
They actually did make a video like that recently 😭😂
Grand Junction, is my hometown so watching this really brought a tear to my eye watching others appreciate and love my home as much as I do.
the amount of effort they put into their videos are inspiring.like so inspiring I want to travel the world and experience what they do
Just want to say that 3 Aussies....my husband myself and our friend who lived in the USA, also went through the Colorado Monument NP as well on our Harleys in 2014, part of our road trip through 10 USA states while also attending the Sturgis bike rally... middle America has some fantastic sights... look forward to seeing your adventures continuing xxx
I love that you are going to be traveling the country. I don’t know if it’s on your list of places to go but West Virginia is amazing and beautiful.
West Virginia is so incredible!
yup
I think I need to add West Virginia to our list!!
The Traveling Swiss you for sure do this place is amazing and beautiful and the amazing state and national parks and then the history
Eh, West Virginia doesn't have much that you can't find elsewhere. Morgantown is nice though, and Harper's Ferry is on my roadtrip bucket list too.
Seeing you guys ride down paths with cliffs on the side is giving me anxiety 😅😅
Same🙋🏻♀️
Kind of like when they go traipsing along rocky trails/ice fields/cliffs, with thousand foot drops right next to them. I’m literally yelling at the tv, “get down from there, right now!“
I've seen your posts on Facebook, and now I want to binge watch again your videos but I forgot your Facebook Page name. 😭
Now I searched the phrase on UA-cam "Why we can't stay on the Philippines" because that's what I remember on watching one of your posts.
It is beautiful I can’t wait to see where it ended you both does a beautiful job
Received 6pm GMT🇬🇧. THANKYOU. My weekend is made
ps is there anything Kara can’t do? She always overcomes her apprehensions and strives to live outside her comfort zone. She just goes for it and I love that about her. I always aim to be more adventurous every time I travel. 😍🙋🏾♀️
I live in co and seeing people doing things here is so cool for some reasons
Nate... the reason your fridge burned out, and you are running out of juice is that the fridge compressor cooling radiator looking thing needs to be ventilated!! Reminds me of why hotels are the best!:)
two things: i appreciate that the intro sequence has a diff voiceover each time and i like that the mid rolls are not thrown in mid sentence
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 we don’t choose where the ad goes so I’m glad YT didn’t let us down!
We travel from NC every summer to volunteer at Ridgway State Park, 20 miles south of Montrose. Never get tired of traveling through Glenwood Pass and the stunning views of Palisade. The owners of River Bend RV park are great folks. Safe travels.
I'm just gonna add some positive energy to this amazing channel so plz read:

You know what I like about your new life? the places you're taking us, are attainable! I loved your traveling to other countries videos but they were a dream, these new places are our homes, our country and our land and any of us can visit them :) I really love that, Thanks :)

Like first before watching it
Palisade is my home and I’m so glad you guys enjoyed it😍

Kara "I'm driving" had us both laughing
Mountain biking VAIL looked awesome
I am glad you now travel at your own pace rather than hustle of airports.

As a native Coloradan it’s super cool to see you guys checking out lesser known places like the monument! Palisades is a hidden gem and the monument and the Grand Junction area is one of the prettiest in the state, but is never talked about. And of course Glenwood canyon is amazing as well.
I’m so glad you guys found harvest hosts!! Kinda feel relieved you guys have safe places to park at night??? loveee your vids!
The best! ❤️💕❤️
You guys need to go the Glacier National Park and go down the Sun Road before it closes!
The East half of the park is closed and will not open this year.
Finally, something for me. Picnic in a vineyard.
“It’s kind of hard to hold something in your mouth when you can barely breath”....how this stayed in main vid and not bloops....🤣
She’s awesome! Love Kara
lol
Went through that valley nearly 20 years ago, enjoyed a good wine, and wonderfully dark skies just across the line in Utah. Stars are amazing. Day scenery is amazing. Creation is amazing.
Yay, another vlog I love seeing where y’all are gonna go next. And, you never fail to amaze me on how beautiful our country of US really is.. 💕
I am from Vail, born and raised and I love seeing you guys enjoy the beautiful place where I have had the pleasure of growing up! makes my heart happy! Make sure to come back in the winter and ski!
It’s so great to see you in Vail! That’s exactly where I went after the Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s also where my sister lives.
I love how much you love each other. That's my favorite thing about you two. ❤️
I love Colorado sooo much it is so pretty!!! We come out here every year and I love it
I live in Colorado and have been to all of the places in this video. So cool to see you enjoy my state!
You guys missed out on Glenwood Springs! Amazing little town at the west end of Glenwood Canyon. They have a great food scene and they have an amusement park on top of a mountain!
They are traveling through by far my favorite places in the world! I also LOVE how they highlight the great places, but also don't draw attention to the names if the places that disappoint. Very respectable.
