Testing out the new Brutix with some PvP kills! In this video, there are also a few other takedowns. Overall, it was a great week with around 1-2 billion in loot and several kills. I'll also be addressing some of your questions from the last video. Watch it ! :-)

Use T2 to go cheaper.
Use a second "Domination Stasis Webifier" to have the same long web range on both web´s.
Use comand Burst T1 if you cant fit or fly t2 or replace it with an Energy neut.
Use Harvest Webifier Booster III to increase web ranke +3km

Love it. I’m trying to be more daring but it’s a slow ride
Start with cheap ships. Buy about 30 T1 frigates and fit them out the same, never going more expensive than T2 modules. Fly one out and pick a fight, expecting to lose, but doing everything you can to win. By the time you have lost the last ship, you will have gained a massive amount of confidence in what you and the ship can do, and what skills (xp and piloting) you need to work on. Try 20 destroyers next, then 10 cruisers. The secret to being more daring is daring to be daring!

a couple of advices. I noticed you using the mouse too much. wich may distract you from other aspects in advance pvp, like proper transversal, D,scan, etc... So, how about practicing the overheat shortcut? wich is "Shift + click" in the desired module, so you dont have to do a exact click in the tiny green light. Also, shortcuts like simply F1, F2,F3,F4,etc. Lock targets pressing Control + click in overview.
even tho you did not need to use thos for this fights, its a good habit to have for the future. Btw, its the first video I see in your channel, youtube simply recommended me out of nowhere hahahah. Argentina says Hiii! have fun!
Hey.... :-) Yes, I'm using shortcuts like "d.scan (v) F1 (...)," but to visually demonstrate what's happening in the videos, I use the mouse with a red circle around. its more understandable for the viewers...

Hell yeah, nice to see a girl beat up all the boys in this game. I'm brand new to Eve and haven't had any real PvP experiences as of yet but I'm 100% going full pirate mode the second I can actually put up a fight against another player. 😎
Full pirate mode is the best mode in game 🙂

Might try this i struggle with pvp fittings and i usually just go minning but i had a break for a few years so thinking of going full blown pirate at this point due to the new expansion soon 😎

That brutix is worth than my whole account...
Just start slowly and work your way up. Get a frigatte or even a catalyst with blasters or railguns and run hideaway cosmic anomalies. Upgrade to vexor next and use drones to run the escalation 3/10 sites that you sometimes get from the hideaways. You also may sometimes find Shadow serpentis on the hideaways which can rarely drop expensive modules. from the 3/10 sites you also may get good modules and Overseers personal effects. Those OPE's you can sell at DED assembly stations to NPC buy orders and the dropped modules to players in trade hubs. In less than 1 or 2 weeks you can have a brutix navy issue. If you are not gallente but any of the other factions, just check what similar ships there are to those I mentioned and get them, do not train into other faction ship classes just for this matter. Gallente just has really good drone ships and they are very good for starters.

search for a quite low sec system...its besster for the beginning. and use something cheap and small, like a slasher

remember the drake is shield tanked, so when you had killed half his tank, he dident even have your shield at that point, witch means he never stood a chance lol. that brutix fit are scary

Nice content. You do a mistake whilst fighting in that Brutix. Orbiting the targets which have smaller sig radius will reduce your tracking ability. It doesn't matter how many webs you have. You have to minimise the transversal velocity to track targets better which is "keep at range" approach.
Orbiting targets is my bread and butter. You know, - lights out and pod express ...

7:11 I would recommend, not to orbit targets in these situations when using guns, especially not at this close range. Because you want perfect tracking to do maximum DPS, orbiting at 1000m even medium guns vs BC, is not perfect. Plus he could manual pilot the other way and screw the tracking quite a lot also.
And you as a fat brut, can't mitigate any missile dps, so... in this case, you would aim from sitting in optimal range of your guns, but not super close. If the opponent is not moving, well amazing, lets just tower defense battle it out ;) If he is trying to run away, keep reaproaching. (in this this case, with 2 webs on him, he aint going anywhere, heh)

ye there s a lot of gallente ships that can use hulltanking effectively. i honestly didnt know people underestimated the bruitrix. i thought everybody knew about this. i gues maybe ill try it as well then.
unrelated to hulltank but also a funny build (more like meme build) people dont expect:
the regular exequror has the smallest signature radius of any cruiser (only 80m) and i think the most cap so you can have a shit ton of active tank while being cap stable. orbit 500 and you can easily get under the guns of cruisers.
and the nereus is also decent at baiting in pvp...
man those gallente with their bait tactics...

there is a lot of tech 1 stuff here that can be switched for tech 2. i am just usually in an alpha clone so that s why. you could get a cap booster 2 for example. and a tech 2 afterburner would be very nice. tech 2 drones etc. . those things also do fit on it.
tech 2 rigs are to expensive to be worth it imo.
if you know you will be baiting frigates then carry 10 smalldrones instead of 5 medium
i tried putting medium guns on it but you just dont get the ~400 ehp per second active armor tank lol.
with good skills and mk2 medium drones you should have about 300dps.
i have 280 or smth. like that
oh and with this thing you get kited easily but people stick around anyway bc they think ur just a logi.

The Brutix's weakness is indeed kiters, but I plan on responding to that with 5 alts and my main. One might be in a ship. I'd tell you, but OPsec applies here.

I only realised recently how much I dscan. Between tapping the hotkey and the sound the scan makes, it almost feels like a pulse now. Legit feels uncomfortable if I havent scanned in a bit.

Speaking from a place of total ignorance, where does player skill come into play in eve? Seems like just running your fit and hoping math is in your favor. Thanks for my favorite eve content btw!
Speaking from a place not too deep, there are a lot of variations in setup and actions from your opponents. Player skills come into play by choosing the best action based on the information available to him/her at that point in time and moving forward.
You can't win a fight just by pressing a button and letting the math do everything for you. There are probabilities, variables, and, of course, weighing the odds.
Just knowing your ship and abilities aren't enough. You also need to be able to gather information about your enemy real time and react to sudden changes to get the upper hand.
Ive played eve for 18 years, at first glance, i could see how that might look to be the case, but how you fly your ship is more important then its fitting, A good example would be an inexperienced player in a ship loaded with officer modules (the best of the best) is going to still lose against an experience player who knows how to use transversal, dictate range and understands when and when not to use their modules. I would explain further but it would quickly turn into a 20 page ted talk.

@@paullim4279 No different than on a monitor. If text is too small then adjust the UI scaling in the game settings (can also do the pc UI in its display settings if needed)
I miss old school high sec wars and carebear baiting, back then you actually got proper kills and not this low sec venture farming with occasional sh*t fit cruiser or something.

How do you find targets so easily? I spent 3 hours in lowsec jumping from system to system and found nothing at the end getting killed by a gang after jumping from a gate. And this isn't the first time. Is it purely luck?

idk it is done by the recording program - i use Aiseesoft Screen Recorder for that.
why do you overheat webifiers at close range?
In close range, I don't use an MWD ... if he tries to escape my web range by overheating his MWD before I can activate my mwd, I always have the maximum range of tmy webifier available and i have a few seconds to go close again....But I think I don't have to do it... it's just a habit because I always do it that way.

hi ami, da du ja auch fließend deutsch verstehst folgender wall of text:
mir sind so 2-3 dinge aufgefallen in den fights:
- overall KLICKST du wirklich alles "solo" mit der maus?
- keine shortcuts fürs aktiveren oder ähnlichem?
bei ca. "5" aktiven modulen finde ich das extrem viel klicker arbeit und ich denke du weißt genau das es manchmal der EINE tick ist der etwas rettet,möglich macht oder alles drauf gehen lässt.
Finde ich sehr verwirrend das so zu sehen bin ich ganz ehrlich.
nr1 gegen die vexor:
keine pre aktivierten punkt und auch das skirmisch modul war nicht an, long range web auch nicht direkt versucht drauf zu bekommen als du den dann anklickt hast (den long range web) direkt noch den shortrange dazu versucht hast zu benutzen der aber ersichtlich out of range war aber 1,2 sec später als in 2nd web in range war wurde dieser "vergessen" oder einfach nicht nochmal versucht "aktiv" aufs ziel zu bekommen den dieser kam dann erst mit ins spiel NACHDEM du die waffen angeschaltet hast und in aller ruhe den heat von den 3 moduelen wieder deaktivert hattest.
nr2 Drake:
wieder ohne pre aktivierten punkt, warum ich das anspreche selbst wenn du mit deinen alten 30km warp in von der orthrus spielst (aus gewohntheit) hast du genug range auf einem heat faction punkt und bekommst solange sie nicht direkt gas geben IMMER ein punkt drauf und es dir ein tick zeit sparen kann und b (so wie es scheint) auch ein paar klicks mit der maus.
auch hier wurde bei passender range wieder 2nd web vergessen.
Sobald du eigentlich die brutix 1x auf speed und DIREKT zum ziel fliegst kannst du idr bei ca 15km überall von den ewar heat raus nehmen (punkte und web´s). das kam gerade in dem ersten drake fight sehr spät raus. sicher kann dir das vollkommen egal sein die 3-4 cyc aber wenn nochmal angegangen wirst oder lieber noch ein volly mehr dmg heat drücken willst kann auch hier wieder sowas das müh auf der waage sein.
nr 3 drake:
kein preheat auf den "webs" (als er aus dem sprung kam) und auch kein aktivieren vom skirmisch modul was dir den long range web wieder nicht zünden lassen hat > mehr clicks die wieder machen musst > time waste.
Und als du dann schon (eve time) ewig nah genug dran warst die heatet webs drauf?! (das jetzt sicherlich eher so ein "i tupfer" punkt ich schreib es dennoch mal mit auf)
ps.: warum die die drake soviel mehr dmg gemacht hat ist du hast EWIG den mwd angelassen > hohe sig = max dmg von raketen! das mag bei medium natürlich noch halbwegs egal sein aber es ist ja möglich du triffst mal auf raketen bs´s oder arty fits auch drohnen heavys schmeckt eine hohe sig.

side note oder besser gesagt versteckte frage: ich weiß natürlich nicht wie "hoch" dein eigentlicher puls ist bei pvp > da du pvp aber nun schon ne ganze weile betreibst ich das dass eher KEIN problem von aufregung ist? mit dem etwas durcheinander benutzen und abläufen in der "order" vom angehen gegen feindliche ziele.

Mein tip, shortcuts für einfache sachen nutzen wie heat on / off ebenfalls f1-f4 (für die module) sinnig nutzen. Ebenfalls wenn öfters mit drohnen kämpfst "angriff" und "zurück in den hanger" auf shortcut legen (attack dürfte default belegt sein).

Am Ende verstehe mich bitte nicht falsch das sind nur dinge die MIR aufgefallen sind und welche ICH für waste of time oder waste of clicks empfinde. Am ende hast du die kills gemacht daher alles fine.

Hey ;.) Ich glaube das ist das ausführlichste Feedback das es bis heute unter irgend einem Video gab. Ich versuche zu antworten. Generell muss ich natürlich sagen das ich keinen Anspruch habe die Dinge perfekt und richtig zu machen. Ich spiele das Spiel eben nur genau so wie ich denke das es für mich passt.
zu 1. shortcuts:
Ich nutze die Maus wegen den Videos. Zuschauer sehen via Mauszeiger was gerade passiert. Es ist besser (in meiner Wahrnehmung) da so zu visualisieren. Shortcuts sind besser, fürs Video halt eben die Maus. Es ist so einfach transparenter und nachvollziehbarer für den Betrachter.
zu 2 vexor. Genau vergessen. Pre aktivierter Disruptor wäre besser gewesen. Mache ich bei der Ortrhus meist auch so. Hatte vergessen den zweiten web zu aktivieren der aber eigentlich nicht notwendig war, da ich schon nah dran war. Wollte das Fitting billiger halten, eigentlich sollte ich zwei gleiche Web´s fitten, ich denke das mache ich auch. Dann passiert das nicht.
zu 3. drake. nobody is perfect
zu 4. drake. die hat etwas mehr dmg gemacht. Ich hatte aber komplette pve agro in der DED side. Bei der anderen Drake war die PVE agro auf dem gegner.
Am Ende muss ich natürlich sagen, dass EVE Online ein sehr komplexes Spiel ist. Die Videos haben nicht den Anspruch, "perfekt" zu sein oder alles richtig zu machen. Dafür habe ich sie nicht erstellt. Es sind auch keine CCP - PVP - Schulungsvideos, und ich bekomme dafür kein Geld, außer Spieler-Spenden, die sich - zugegeben - auf mehrere Milliarden belaufen und YT Einnahmen aus der Werbung. Ich bin fest der Meinung, in der komplexen Spielwelt von Eve Online gibt es für mich kein richtig oder falsch, kein gut oder schlecht. Wenn man schon extrem viel Lebenszeit in das Spiel investiert (und EVE ist sehr zeitaufwendig), sollte es Spaß machen. Spaß sollte tatsächlich der maßgebliche Antrieb sein, ein Spiel zu spielen. Soll jeder es so spielen wie er möchte. Es gibt natürlich Spieler, die den Anspruch haben, alles perfekt zu machen und jedes Modul zum richtigen Zeitpunkt zu aktivieren und das Optimum aus dem Spiel herauszuholen. Das ist aber nicht mein Anspruch. Wie du richtig gesehen hast, läuft nicht alles perfekt, und das ist auch gut so 🙂

War wohl einfach zu spät um die transferleistung zwischen Aufnahmen - UA-cam - Unterhaltung her zu stellen. Entschuldige bitte.
Eine kleine Frage ganz am Ende vom Video auf dem kill Board war noch ein gallente BS zusehen das hast du auch mit der brutix hobs genommen? Wenn ja > wo video? Oder kommt das im nächsten :)?

Nein der Hyperion Kill ist am Ende kurz im Video zu sehen, hierfür habe ich eine Proteus genutzt.

The hull brutix is amazing and even alpha player can fly it. It won't have the same HP and DPS but still will melt some ships.

No shade, but you were killing noobs doing pve, not pointed once in this vid it seems. Don´t get me wrong, I do it all the time, since its fun and can be profitable, but I was hoping you´d take the hull beast to an active pvp area and test it against some people who were actually gonna fight back. Why not you say (in response to the celebration of killing a helpless mining player). Because its dishonorable and says something about you (the players) character. If you don't mind being a POS then I guess that's your choice but the anonymity of being online does not make you exempt from it.

@@Matspoiss True 100% It's really fascinating to see how many ships related to mining have been destroyed. And I mean, they don't participate in wars and are also (mostly) not part of PvP. Here are some numbers: 164,507 Mining Barges with 36t ISK, 39,811 Orca with 70.56t, and 92,616 Venture with 5.06t... Over time, these add up to some staggering amounts. If I had the formula, I could also convert that to USD.....
