I can see Apollousa and Access code getting the axe eventually but I'd be genuinely annoyed if I:P got banned. She's great for many decks but she's only as strong as what you are quick-linking into.

Well, the Structure Deck won't be in the TCG for months to half a year, or won't even come to the TCG.
That's why they reprinted it here. Either to double dip, or because we aint getting this.

You may not understand how far ahead sets are put together, at the time of this set being planned the newest set would of been like AGOV, the Bystials and Kashtira already having a planned reprint at that point in the tins.
Obviously the people designing the set back then have no idea about the current meta, banlist or anything like that they aren't thinking that Trident Dragion needs a reprint due to a a set that was wasn't even released in the OCG at the time of picking the selection.
Like make sure your expectations are realistic to the reality of planning, and production and remember this product was made in response to the success of the first set, normally sets take longer from planning to production.

The cards in the set are certainly for returning or new players, but the ridiculous prices of the boxes certainly are not. 400 AUD for a box is absolutely absurd for new players to spend on opening "mid" packs
Every good card was announced in the initial reveal. Everything else was mid at best.

The set is perfect for new players and collectors. But for casual-competitive players who just want to get expensive cards cheap, yeah, it is absolutely ass. I guess this is what happens when you let the TCG design an exclusive set instead of following an OCG set, like RC1 did.

Man, this is just… kind of disappointing after the first Rarity Collection. Very few meta relevant cards, although having a few time wizard reprints is nice
what do you mean? apo, accesscode, crossout, purrely, branded, and all the visas spells saw reprints. yeah they didn't reprint snake eyes cards but people who play snake eyes already bought the cards and would get pissed if they reprinted them only a few months after they dropped

Please guys, don't expect to see a reprint of Princess or Poplar, they came out in 2024. You should pick them up now before they go up if you plan to play FIRE after the tins.

Honestly some of the choices in this set are baffling. Like its cool for people who want max rarity stuff but... did we really need a poly reprint? Or mst? I legit have never seen chaos hunter be used in any deck.
Hyped for stuff like Underworld Goddess, dragoon, accesscode and a lot of alt art stuff but man. This is a let down

Accesscode, IP alt art, Solemn Judgment, and Droll QCRs will all probably be top of the set would be my prediction
Chaos Hunter will probably be super side deck or even and mained for all the monsters it interacts with this format.
Also you say that like everyone who isn't rich wouldn't like a lot of these.
Accesscode, guardian chimera, crossout and the planet field spells off the top of my head. Droll was also a 5 dollar common. Not the worst, mostly rarity upgrades so I think it's still pretty good as a product as it'll be really fun to open.
Phantazmay, Crossout, Garura, Dragoon, Ultimate Slayer, Rindbrumm, and Accesscode all just got wayyyy cheaper
Man, Collection 1 is far superior. Glad for crossout designator, dragoon and blue eyes alternative. But where is Kashtira Fenrir or Chaos Angel? Really thought those two will be in this set!

thrust not being reprinted is criminal. Since PHHY it got "reprinted" as an OTS ulti which is more expensive than the original and as a shortprint in a dog water set

This wouldn't be a problem in the first place if Konami didn't rarity bump those cards to the heavens and keeping them there (in the Mega tins it will most likely be a secret again)

Good set overall , but what a missed chance to reprint Super Poly , TTT , Kash Fenrir and Unicorn (and some others from Scareclaw and Tears) , since their planets are here.

Reprinting 5 3 years old archetypes 4 of wich almost irrelevant to the game as of today sure is a good move! ^^
We want mainline sets like this like in OCG, not shoddy late reprints sets that are "kind of" nice but not really when a box cost you 140 €

Completely agree. This is going to be horrendous for stores and vendors, i'm so glad I risked skipping it due to the underwhelming early reveals. People will be taking heavy losses to unload this, the cards are way too niche and theme specific. This model only works if you fill the set with banger staples.

This is... kinda bad. Aside from Accesscode and Garura reprint there's nothing here that is worth buying a box for.
Appo and Borrelend are pretty good. Same with crossout considering it was a 20+ dollar card until now. Also, if this set foreshadows like ra1 did, it means skill drain will likely get limited this year and anti spell will be banned, which I really fucking hope so.
This is not as good as the first one overall imo but theres def some stand outs and the price drops it’ll introduce is very welcome. I can see myself buying more singles from this set than the actual pack compared to RC1 esp with the price increase of the individual packs.

honestly, a lot of my cards got stolen this last month so ive been left with only a bit of bulk. this will be helping me get quite a few of my staples back along side some cards i didnt have.

I was hoping for diviner of the herald and trident dragion. But I’ll be picking up magician’s souls, illusion of chaos, crossout, aluber, accesscode and guardian chimera. Maybe phantazmay and rescue cat too.

Rarity Collection 1 was a premium product at a premium price. Rarity Collection 2 is a very average set at an even more premium price. Konami are testing the waters to see if people will accept getting less for their money on an average set if cards come in multiple rarities. Do not buy it unless you want all product to be grossly overpriced in future!

This was waaay worse that rarity collection 1, theres no kashtiras, bystials, no paters, chaos angel, dragion, no thrust, just crossout, peroereino and accescode, pretty mid.

This is far worse than the 1st set and is also the worst product we got in 2024.
Rarity 1 had a bunch of great, expensive and necessary cards.
Rarity 2 has a bunch of 1 cent cards and like 2 overly specific meta cards that are not widely played.
Jet and Alternative were over $20 each on TCGPlayer. Accesscode was still expensive and Chimera was $30 for both prints.

@@Otzkar I feel this set isnt "for" current competetive players. Its a price drop set. Many of the cards here are cards that are/were 10-15-30 dollar cards for no reason, but they are cards many already have.
Crossout, dragoon, accesscode, mag souls, bingo, alternative, all the purrely reprints, the visas planets, crystal wing, guardian chimera, aboms prison, soul of Rage, ultimate slayer, phantazmay, and illusion of chaos were all in that price range. Even Charge of the light brigade was creeping upwards in price.
These platinums look so much better.
