This is what Yugioh needed. Making these staples more accessible will hopefully make the game appealing to new players. My one gripe is that the platinum secret rare isn’t like the original. Its one of my favorite rarities
Yeah it’s definitely what we needed, my whole binder to tank in value. Sold most of them on mention of this set but damn if they continue this, all our cards will be just cardboard. It’s sad
@arneldeleon2610 you are spot on bro, it’s awful , if this continues, let’s be honest , yugioh is an adult game of chess now, you need to have money to be relevant. This is going to crush the game.
All y’all bellyaching. Look at what Pokémon does. They don’t do massive reprint sets like this but they put the packs in box sets and do multiple waves of sets all the time. Put good cards as promos all the time. Along with massive high rarity cards in the sets that are highly collectible. Their singles are cheap, even the competitive ones. But the game has survived still
Pokémon thrives because of the switch and Pokémon go, no because of the cards, yugioh is the exact opposite , they survive of the card game and a little bit of master duel
@arneldeleon2610 It's kinda exactly what Konami needs, because even the shareholders are getting sick of the lack of new consumers and players, basically you can't keep selling products that only support resellers and collectors it just isn't viable. So what makes sense is to have products that have chase cards for collectors that have no impact on the game since lower rarity options are available, it's kinda sad how comfortable this community is with exploiting rarity of meta cards for a profit and if that is a part of the market needs to die for the game to bring in more general consumers and players then good. Other card games have proven you can have collectors enjoying shiny cardboard, resellers, selling bulk and the shiny rarities while casual and competitive consumers can pull the cards they need or buy them at bulk prices. Because of how little yugioh products are for general consumers most stores I know wont stock yugioh packs beyond like a couple booster boxes of a new set because what's the point consumers wont buy stuff they cant take and play with with the deck build sets being the worse offenders because even opening a full box in no way allows you to "Build a Deck" from those pulls especially when it's only 3 Ultra rares per box.
I love the fact that prosperity has been reprinted. It’s been impossible for budget players like myself to be able to pick up these kinds of cards and is really nice that we can play meta cards. I also love that effect veiled got its first secret printing 💪💪💪💪
My favorite part of this set is that it offers so much for people just starting yugioh. It allows them to get easy access to staples to help them play them game or it offers them chance to have trade bait towards upgrading their deck.
You should do a video covering all the rarities of a single card to show everyone the differences between them, it'd be pretty useful now and in the future tbh
This is what got me to order this set! I I can finally build that Competitive Egyptian God Deck , ordered last night, super excited to open, bit pricey but ya gotta treat yoursefl from time to time
This set will definitely help out players who want certain cards that weren't reprint before and newer collectors wanting to make their starting collections look pretty.
13:42 What is that red spot on Baronne's Text Box?! This is a really fun set to open. Lots of cards I need in Secret Rare. The new CRs though look amazing.
@@GregScala don’t think they’re going to get banned, but prosperity is definitely going to get hit, now that it doesn’t cost a fortune and is easily accessible.
I LOVE how many staples are in this set! Really makes the game so much more affordable, and with gorgeous high-rarity versions of iconic cards for collectors. Been waiting months for this!
My favorite part of this set is that new players, returning players, and budget players can all have access to most of the staples that are needed for most decks. Also the rarity bumps helps out a lot.
Favorite part about this set is the reprint of Egyptian God Slime. Card was completely unobtainable due to its price but now everyone can get an affordable version and chase a higher rarity from this Collection.
Great vid btw the Baronne de fleur you pull at 13:43 has a big red mark on left side down by the text of the card just so know and what I'm looking forward to pot of prosperity need one more for play set hope I win the cards lol
I've been doing math and what I love about this set is the fact that it's a win win for sellers and buyers. Everything has affordable versions, even the high rarity stuff isn't ridiculous considering what high rarity meta cards usually are. And bc there are so many hits in this set, mathmatically you should be able to plus easy
I absolutely love that this set not only has so many great staples that can be in all rarities. It’s great for cheap deck building and collectors alike. While I liked Photon hypernova, cyberstorm access, and age of overlord, this set is something everyone needed.
It's a 79 card set because there's no Maxx "C" in the TCG version, this is also the 4th version of the Rarity Collection. I'd assume that the next version would be closer to the three previous versions, but that's if TCG territories even get the next, though judging from this one's response... All Collector Rares and Ultimate Rares have changed to the OCG's version, which the webpage does state on the Yugioh website, so it's now the entire card that is covered in the foiling. In the original Rarity Collection (OCG "The Rarity Collection") It was a four card pack with 3 Supers, and an Ultra+, where any Super/Ultra could be a Secret or Collector's Rare, but there were 10 cards that could only come as Ultimate/Collector, Extra Secret, and Holographic(Ghost), for TRC, Blue-Eyes was only available in Holographic, and not any other Rarity. The same was done for 20th Anniversary, and Premium Gold is more similar to Quarter Century. The packs came out in Japan in 2014, 2018, 2020, and 2023. Chances are, there won't be one until at least 2026, if not 2027 The absolute best part of the set is the upgradibility of the Ultra/Secret slots
I really am excited for this set as it opens the doors for anyone to get these expensive cards for pretty cheap. I hope Konami continues making more sets like this in the future!
I like how they have bought so much nostalgia back with the 25th anniversary set, while keeping it interesting with all of the rarities available and newer cards with this set
I agree that the silver name on the collectors rare is much better than the gold name, but what sells it to me is the scattered star pattern all over the card! I think that is just cool and I want an entire deck with that rarity if I could. Gorgeous!
God I just love how Ruxin opens Triple Tactics Talent and Imperm back to back in the same pack and just continues as if those cards have no text on them
Absolutely love this set. Don't care if there's a lot of reprints of the same card in this set. Each reprint has it's unique rarity. Can't complain. Love it
Such a cool set. Not to be a yugiboomer, but I'd love a less meta focused rarity collection if they continue to do this. Print some jars, print summoned skull, print something like shrink or ring of destruction, etc.
The best way to tell the difference between the collectors and ultimate rares are that the ultis have gold text and the collectors rares have silver text
I reckon Rarity collection style set every 3-5 years, with all the chase cards from those 5 years. Means that core sets will still sell and big secrets will hold their value for a long time before it's fully available to the masses.
As someone who is trying to get into the TCG from playing online I love the fact that they reprinted so many staples in this set and honestly would love to get any and all of those staples
The favorite part of this set for me is the fact that now we can actually pull a lot or rarities, you can fill binders with only one set, with nothing but good cards (even tho the prices are gonna go down, for me is good cause im a casual)
Yo Ruxin little tip to recognize ultis from collectors that people rarely mentions: ulti has gold letter names like ultras and collector as rainbow letter names like secrets.
I like that they did this. Budget players get more access staples. I think they should have thrown in a ghost rare with 1 per 1-2 cases rates to spice things up for collectors though.
Ultra rares have honestly always been my favourite. I like that both the name and art are foil but I can also clearly see the art! I feel like secret rares and the likes always muddy up the art work so I'm excited to get everything in this set in ultra!
Honestly, I would love to see another Legendary Collection focusing on just Jaden with all of his cards including Neo-Spacians, the missing NEX fusions, all of the Elemental Hero/Masked Hero/Evil Hero/Vision Heroes and the *forbidden* card Elemental Hero Air Neos.
I picked up an Ulti Darklaw during YCS Philly when it was around $400 for a LP copy. It hurts the wallet quite a bit, but i love seeing the game become more friendly towards newer players buying staples and such.
Just ordered a box! There are some seriously awesome cards that got reprinted in here making them ACTUALLY accessible to everyone and not $40 a card. Very nice!
first and last card for each pack are super rare 2nd card can be regular secret, plat secret, or quarter century 3rd and 4th card can be ultra, ultimate, or collector
Watching this only weeks away from RC2 release and the little blurb at 5:00 made me think of how Accesscode Talker is being reprinted for the 4th time. 5th if you count the starlight from BLCR.
Such a cool set and i love the way that you just give back to the community when the new sets come out! Thanks Ruxin for being a stand up guy! Love the content. Keep it up
As someone who is returning to Yu-Gi-Oh and planning to compete in locals this set is amazing as it has reprints of all the important staples in duels, although I can see that the reprints are bad if you are a collector or a seller
I'm wondering if going forward we should expect the same Ulti finish in future OTS packs or what would happen to the Extra Secret rare. Not my favorite, but also might be weird to have that pop up again without the borders finished too.
My favorite part of this set is how having 7 different rarities made a lot of the more expensive cards a lot more affordable. Can't wait to pull an Egyptian God Slime.
This set, out of all the card games I've ever played, has been the most fun to open. I cannot say enough about how exciting it is to open a pack of this knowing what could be inside in terms of both the rarity and the cards themselves. 11/10 set, nearly teared up when I pulled my first ever collectors rare
From a player perspective, this is one of the best sets in a very long time, cracking down on the price of so many staples all in one set is invaluable to a lot of people, including myself.
best part about the set is making staples actually affordable! Also I think this should be a one and done. Something really special for the fans that have been around for the 25th century mark. Maybe do it again at 30th anniversary instead of a yearly thing.
This is definitely the best reprint set so far. A lot of meta cards and wide variety of rarities is excellent. The new CR and ulti are top tier. But it will crash the staples market
I love the set but Konami really missed with the patterns on collector and ultimate rares. The OCG cards have extremely distinct patterns in the background, and you BARELY see that with our versions. I don't think they truly used the same process, but instead re-dyed the Premium Gold format for these. The OCG cards are a LOT nicer.
My only complaint is that the platinum secret rares are the same as the originals. Those tins came out right when I got back into the game. After stopping when I was a kid and the bujins were my first deck when I came back. Platinum secret dark law is actually what I want from the set
My favorite part of this set is basically everything. The cards are much needed reprints *cough god slime cough* and the so many staples, techs, and other great cards. The rarities are also amazing, we finally get some of the OCG rarities in the TCG. Hopefully we get more sets like this in the years to come.
I really like the new japanese ULT, they just look so good with the texture. Also greatly appreciate the reprints of staples, helps a lot make the game much more accessible for all to play, and as well as bling out for those who got the money.
This is the best set by far. Makes it so much easier to get back into Yugioh, since staples get some cheaper versions and you still can open sealed product, without wasting toooo much money.
I love that all these really important meta staples are getting cheap reprints. It sucks the prices if the Ogs crash but in order to push towards getting new players they have to make the game cheaper. Also net you at the Indy YCS after watching you for years. Love what you do man.
With the new rarities, I think they added prismatic to the collectors and ultimate rares to differentiate them from the currently existing versions in the TCG.
The is arguably the best set ever made this year, it’s a must have booster set for everyone who loves to create play sets of it, and I know I’m excited for it!
Is it just me, but It's pretty easy to tell the different between Ulti and Collector from the collection set? And that's the color of the name. Ulti name are a darker goldish color. While the Collector is silver.
I love this set! Opened a box and I love the chance of getting an ulti alt art eldlich, triple tac secret, ultra imperm, super ash, and super pot of prosperity in one pack
The set is awesome, I restarted buying and collecting Yugioh TCG this year, this kind of product really helps to bring new people and bring old ones back. Just feel a little bit sorry for all the ones who spent a lot on meta cards.
I'm six months late, but I'm wondering what the odds are for pulling one of each card from the set from one booster box. Me and my buddies are getting back into YuGiOh and wants to order some boxes.
The only thing I don't like is the border on the ultis. I wish the outside border was foil instead of the embossed glossy cover, it makes the cards look and feel tacky to me.
Digging the new hand traps. As a returning player, most of these cards that are "staples" are pricey, mainly for me, pot of prosperity. So this pack is something that I can get behind.
Thanks for the great content as always. With 7 prints of each card, this is becoming like pokemon...gotta catch em all. Thanks for the longer vid as well.
Yeah got an Ultra Rare Sphere mode, but what I did not expect is God Slime 2x one being Collectors rare, and the other prismatic ultimate. I am at least satisfied with Sphere mode, and Godslime.
As an Ultimate rare collector, i'm stoked about getting 79 new ones despîte them being kinda different, but an ulti is an ulti I also love that this set makes getting staples way easier especially in a country like mine where yugioh products are very hard to obtain
I like all the rarities in this set. But the only problem is they are running value straight into the ground. It's nice to have a higher rarity of older cards in older sets to hold value to continue the game. That always helps a game survive. Cool set though.

That Ultimate Rare "Change of Heart" looks absolutely bonkers good. Like holy cow that is some quality cardboard.
Honestly. this looks like one of the best reprints we've gotten. Really helps get some cards that are normally expensive.
This reminded me when Change of Heart prices soared for a while when it was unbanned
You should do a video covering all the rarities of a single card to show everyone the differences between them, it'd be pretty useful now and in the future tbh
I pulled my ash blossom in my first box but some of my ultras were poor quality on the borders being sliced.
Egyptian God Slime finally got a reprint?! FINALLY i wont have to pay $50 for that card
Yay!

Love everything about this set. We need more like this from Konami going forward. Home Run product.
Great set Until the value of cards are crushed
That is exactly why the set is so good. Cards were way too expensive@@Nate1995
@@Nate1995it’s a game not a stock market investment
I guess you want a binder full of worthless cards what a great gift to give your child or grandchild when you get old .
@@Nate1995many people care more about actually playing with the cards, and meta cards sometimes being 80+ euro makes that stupidly expensive.

The Baronne at 13:43 has some sort of weird inking error on the text box
Is it just me, but It's pretty easy to tell the different between Ulti and Collector from the collection set?
And that's the color of the name.
Ulti name are a darker goldish color. While the Collector is silver.
Love how each card can have a different rarity! Kind of like how some Pokemon cards and be Reverse Holos, Holos, or non-Shiny
Damn I honestly love the new platinum secrets more than a lot of the new collector rares and ultis. Just the perfect balance of bling and subtlety!
I'm six months late, but I'm wondering what the odds are for pulling one of each card from the set from one booster box. Me and my buddies are getting back into YuGiOh and wants to order some boxes.
It's interesting seeing a Baronne misprint at 13:42 Makes you wonder what a higher rarity misprint from this set could be worth.
I love the fact that in this set there's a good chunk of staples that are now affordable!
The only thing I don't like is the border on the ultis. I wish the outside border was foil instead of the embossed glossy cover, it makes the cards look and feel tacky to me.
I love this set, I think it's wild that the Ocg does this studf with their rarities ALL THE TIME and we get shafted when we buy it in the tcg
Forbidden Droplet and God Slime are the most researched card for me. Can't wait to open those packs tomorrow
As an Ultimate rare collector, i'm stoked about getting 79 new ones despîte them being kinda different, but an ulti is an ulti
I also love that this set makes getting staples way easier especially in a country like mine where yugioh products are very hard to obtain
I like all the rarities in this set. But the only problem is they are running value straight into the ground. It's nice to have a higher rarity of older cards in older sets to hold value to continue the game. That always helps a game survive. Cool set though.
Secret Rares are OP. Thanks for sharing brother
