GOOD JOB THO, I WISH ALL NIGERIA ROADS COULD BE LIKE THIS, THE ROADS STILL NED TO BE LEAN OF SAND AND AIRPORT ENVIRONMENT REDESIGNED, IT LOOKS SO LOCAL AND BUSHY
Who are the people that are responsible for these projects, seems like planning was not well thought out. The road looks good but in between the lanes there is still a lot of sand, they need to either use paving stones for the whole length of the road to prevent the red sand from getting in the road or plan grass that can hold the soil, on the edges of the road there are still open drainages, why can they not use underground drainage or use pipes to channel the water to the lagoon or some other reservoirs? The lagos state government needs to employ the expertise of land scape engineers to change the face of Lagos. Hope the people responsible for this project sees this comment.!!!!
I was wondering the same thing too, I was afraid he will drive off the ramp. lol And they don't have Shoulder, so when a car breaks down, it just takes over a lane. When I was there in 2018, I noticed there were no lane markings, and people drove in the middle of the road. lol
Ambode we love you! Unlike sonwo igbo who's doing nothing rather than saving money for his boss ojuyobo to contest for 2023 presidential election. Where watching you guys.

The road doesn't look bad at all. I commend governor Ambode who initiated and stated this work. I have two concerns: it looks as if the road is not being swept, that is why we have heap of sands littered on the roads. This is very embracing. In addition, the roads are not well marked. Some of them are not that visible. This is very important in the sense that if another vehicle encroaches into your lane and scratches your car in the process, his insurance company should pay for the damages. In a situation the markings are missing, who will be held responsible for this kind of mess? Lastly, the service should be fixed just like the highway. It's so sad it looks shitty and unkempt. I'm trusting that Lagos government can get it right for once. Very annoying!!! With the resources you have in Lagos, the city should stand out and be comparable to any smart city in the Western world
Shit bothers me too even when there is no construction, there is still sand we know as e be. If all the roads in Lagos are fixed and grass planted on the road side and trees, the sand issue would be a thing of the past.
@@jyde50 You know what he is saying is true, even without construction there is always sand taking up half the road from either side, we need cleaner trucks in Nigeria, I don't know how no governor has thought of it.
@ David Higan @ MajorrBison there is obviously construction still ongoing, but even if not there’s sand on the roads even in Dubai (eg, the highway to Abu Dhabi). It comes with climate and topography. That’s essentially akin to bemoaning snow on US or Norwegian roads.

The entire neighborhood should be filled with hotels and restaurant with rental car companies etc as we witness in the west.
