Hello. I listened to the entire album The Wishing Chair at least once a day from the mid 1980s thru earlier 2000s, when I was still a sweet summer child. Thanks for these memories 🌹
As a longtime fan of 10,000 Maniacs I really enjoy seeing these old vintage shows that I haven’t seen before. I think it really shows the overall development and growth of the band. Natalie’s voice is amazing.
Same, I saw this tour in a tiny club in Portsmouth. Met the band before the show as well. Edit, I saw the tour BEFORE this - when they were in the UK recording "The Wishing Chair" and I saw the "In My Tribe" tour in the tiny club. In the '80s 10,000 Maniacs were one of the best live bands out there. Natalie was an electrifying live performer it was all the boys could do to keep up most of the time :) Very special setlist so far - Grey Victory>Just as the Tide was a flowing>Maddox Table - awesome stuff

Love this band.
Thank you for uploading this
Amazing, intense version of My mother the war. This version of the group was amazing..I saw them on the same tour at the old (smaller) 9:30 club

Shame they didn't have time for the Colonial Wing - that was a barnstormer in this era.
Thank you so much for the playlist, I wanted to listen to my favorite skipping for now all the rest: "Death of Manolete"
One week after my first Maniacs show in Rochester!
Great version of Cotton Alley
I shouldn't be sad that it's over, just happy that it happened.
So true
Is Wesley Costas everywhere there are Maniacs? He's fantastic that's a fact.
This is three years after I first saw then
Love the maniacs older stuff.. could anybody point me to Natalie’s cover version of joy diversions love will tear us apart. Not Mary’s version!!!
Amazing, thank you thank you Wes.
She forgot the lyrics at the end of Back Of The Moon and took it out on the mike stand
What is the first track ? Sounds like The Cure
Grey Victory
