Panning is required for the lucky ring AND the tail of the bear skeleton for Professor Snail. Also Farmer's lunch with +3 farming is great if you want to get high quality crops to speed up your friendship making with various villagers

@@shawncommodore9698 You're right. I forgot about that, but it is pretty rare. Eating a pumpkin soup on a stardrop luck day and you'll find it very fast panning.

Lucky rings can be obtained also by smashing crates in skull caverns, i even got 3 from it
Trash can upgrade is actually not useless, in the mines you earn lots of good stuff and sometimes the inventory fills the all way up so I delete the items that I don't need that much, you might as well make some money off of those
The common mushrooms from Mushroom Trees do have a good use: you can throw them in a seed maker for Fall Seeds, which you can turn into saplings.
I recently build a Mill on my farm in summer because after 3 rounds of starfruit i needed a crop to bridge the fertilizer to autumn so i dont need to waste more for pumpkins, so i planted lots of wheat. So now i have like lots of flour getting back already the money spent on the Mill :>
This may be even more helpful if you are doing the remixed ccc bundles and have to deliver 100 wheat flour. Pretty expensive to buy from Pierre if you can't make it yourself
Common mushrooms are very valuable because you can get mixed seeds from a seed maker with them, which late gamers can use to craft fiber seeds. 😊

Mushrooms actually convert into Fall Wild Seeds- not mixed seeds... but this means you can use them to craft tea saplings for sale, which serves as a nice little earner on the side

I think his point is its not worth it to cook it. Rather we all buy lots of salads from gus. The foreagable ingredients are not plentiful to make enough of them.
Mill is certainly not useless! Wheat is required to keep your fertilizer from summer to fall so you will be growing it every year (turned into bread it sells for 60 G each which is almost double; if you use deluxe speedgro + agriculturalist wheat grows in only 2 days, making it competitive with things like pumpkins even). Actually if you get the mill during spring year v1 (good luck with the newspaper recycling!) then any rice you get from mines/fishing once harvested suddenly jump up from 30 to 100G each!
7:01 Theoretically, furniture, paintings, and the like.
I mean... I do like the oil maker, and I feel it's worth making the truffle oil, especially when you need gold soon and most of the other artisan goods are not ready, since they take 2 to 7 days to be ready.
I´m not taking cheese into consideration since I mainly use cheese to recover health and energy 😅
Yeah, I think the oil maker is all up to Preference.
I Prefer to be lazy and just sell the Truffle as they are 😅

A dagger may be handy for single target damage, atleast based off the rougelite mod where weapon types shine for different reasons. Admittingly I don't use daggers or hammers, due to preferring swords, but it's all up to the user what they prefer! And besides, technically everything has a use, even if it's a niche. Also there's mods to let you have each profession, makes even the useless ones handy because you don't needyk decide between optimal and them. Also I been using the automation mod, and the worm Ben has been handy for automating things!

Though with Automate some of these things become worthwhile. Bait machines linked to crab pots, recyclers, and a collection chest is pretty nice early on.
True, a single Worm Bin can be linked with the 3 free crab pots and the recycling machine you get from bundles for a nice source of passive income every day. Then for every random worm bin you occasionally get from skull cavern chests, just add 3-4 more crab pots. After doing some maths, I discovered that with this setup you actually make around 90gold per day per crab pot, either in stuff you sell for profit, or in resources you don't have to buy (aka Coal and Iron Ore from Clint, or Wood/Stone from Robin). Not bad for something you don't need to attend more than once a month.
What about using the topaz ring on mummies instead of a bomb? I'm asking bc when you down the and swing on them they say miss miss miss
I mean truffle oils are passive income. Just throw it in there and pick it up tomorrow. But i only have 1 barn of pigs cause thats where it gets pretty stressful since they give you 3 truffles everyday lol

Interestingly I've hit "miss" on monsters, but it's so rare (like once every 200 mobs, not hits) that the ring is really not worth it.
The trash is useful for trashing the low value items in e dungeons and making money from them unstead of no money.
Tracker saves so much time when hunting for artifact spots, particularly for those dang snake vertebrae

Tracker actually has it's usage as it also points to panning spots and as someone else already pointed out, panning is a good way to get your Lucky Ring.

RE:Trash cans: A lot of times I'm in the mines or skull caverns, I will run out of inventory space. I am there to get Iridium, or maybe Omni Geodes, or maybe looking for Treasure Floors but I filled up on inventory. And let's say I see a diamond node and my inventory is full. I'm going to drop or trash something I see as lesser value so I can pick up the diamond. Well, some items do have value, but not as much as a diamond. Emeralds, Aquamarines, etc will give you some gold if put in the iridium trash can. Might as well, right? It's better to get some money back than zero. Now, granted, it's not a huge game-changer or anything, but if you got the extra materials lying around, I don't really see a reason not to.

1. Children actually don't contribute anything to perfection, solely an out of game achievement to have a "full house".
5. Daggers are actually arguably the best weapon for the highest level of players doing sc in particular, swords are utterly useless in most scenarios and hammers waste too much in game time. They are primarily an assist weapon though and only their special attack should really be used alongside a hammer if you are doing large scale combat.
7. Tracker is actually really useful late game when finding the last few till-only items for the museum and island tent as it saves you travelling the map or taking screenshots to look for artifact spots. It's also great to get lucky rings as you can see if there are "shimmer" spots on the map.
11. Trash can upgrades aren't honestly too bad, they only cost half the regular upgrade monetary cost and the money you make with it is actually quite surprising if you stick to trashing stuff you don't need when in the mines with some gems, etc.
Double forage rather than iridium grade forage. End game your getting double alot so I would argue that having potential of 2 truffle oil over one iridium truffle is worth th3 gamble
The dagger isn’t a bad weapon you’re just bad at using it. Single target time to kill is incomparable and when time is everything in the mines it makes sense to bring one along. 6 hours is an overnight process or I put the truffles in the oil maker and come back the next day with that day’s truffles. Basically the oil maker is totally worth.
Lucky Lunch is a great cooked meal. Pumpkin Soup is pretty good.
Rice sells for alot in my opinion. Not a bad idea for money. I like it. Im going to build the mill soon
late game you usually run a hammer and a dagger wirth artful and acrobat; hammer smashes groups and dagger built for crits guarantees kills; swords sucks

For #2, doesn't that imply that letting Joja Corp buy out the town is better, because the community center is useless beyond that (or doing it the right way)?
You miss out on the bundle rewards (and Bulletin Board friendship gain), and of course the completion process is different.
But just speaking about the 100% completion reward: CC makes Pierre open Weds, which is nice but if you've got the Joja membership seeds are the same price there anyway (and open later). Joja gives a technically-useful item too, since it gives you Joja Cola.
Hammers and daggers are both used by speed runners and high level players, swords basically never are
You can actually miss attacks in the game. Not frequent but it does happen.
Precision isn't implemented in the base game, but the expanded mod implemented it

I mean for the cooking one, villagers love a bunch of different dishes, so there’s that. And daggers are helpful for single targets, especially if you do the whole crit setup so you basically one hit everything. On a side note, most of these tips and, most of the tips from all your videos are helpful, especially for new players, but the clickbait thumbnails are a bit much I think. You could probably go with the most “crazy” tip from the video and still attract a lot of attention. At the end of the day, it’s your channel, so do whatever you want, just my 2 cents.

3) The real value of festivals is friendship points. Some boost friendship directly, e.g. the luau. All of them give you a quick way to talk to everyone, which counts toward friendship. Frankly, friendship is one of the hardest grinds for completion in this game, and easily the most tedious.
4) Don't lump beets in with these others. They fill a fairly unique niche on the farm, as a respectable moneymaker with a short growing time and little need for processing. Mill all the beets below gold quality, and it's like all your beets were gold quality (the three sugar are worth almost as much, exactly as much without Tiller.) They're great for a placeholder crop in fall, while you expand your sprinkler coverage, or when there isn't time for some longer-growing crop. I agree about rice and wheat, for the most part. Wheat is better turned into beer, and even then I mainly grow wheat to keep soil tilled, especially over the Summer-Fall transition.
13) Hard agree! Cooking is really underutilized. The game is noticeably better with overhauls to address this. It's a network of related issues; bad balance among cooking recipes, the cooked foods themselves, substitutes that are too good (blackberries and salads), the lack of a cooking skill, the fact that stamina becomes an irrelevant resource in the late game, and so on. You have to patch over all of these issues to make cooking part of actual gameplay again.
