Luck does affect the contents of the treasure, it makes it more likely to get larger quantities of stuff and for the basic rings to be upgraded into their larger counterparts.
Bit off topic but since it came by at the pineapple part; how long does the deluxe retaining soil keep the soil wet for the crops in gardening pots? I'm getting to unlocking the island trader so I can't test it out myself yet Your videos are really helpful! Liking the humour and editing too Already subscribed so keep up the good work :)
@@mincyu Fertilizers and retaining soils stay in the soil until the season changes, unless you have a multi-season crop planted there. Of course, there's no season changes inside sheds, greenhouses, or on Ginger Island, so they'll remain indefinitely until you manually remove them with a pickaxe.
The only two achievements that I haven't accomplished for Stardew Valley are the two related tothe Journey of the Prairie King. I have multiple disabilities that affect coirdination and reaction time, and it moves too fast for too long for me.
I know this is a year old comment but if "for too long" is a part of the problem, you can exit the mini game after one successfully passed level and go to sleep. Reload a day if you die. I got to the final level several times but I've never beaten it, but I also never really did the reload thing because I noticed I need a little bit of time to get back into the rhythm. But if you're after the two achievements, it might be worth a shot.
I just keep rabbits feet in my inventory at all times because I’m dating everyone in town and I KNOW one day I’ll forget and step into some cutscene that’s bad if you don’t have a foot on ya
The addition of lil' jokes across the video was a welcome surprise! A very nice vid overall, I had no idea about some of these myths, but have fallen for a few misconceptions in my early days.
In late game you can get a fertilizer that permanently stays watered. A lot of players, once gaining access to it, create "greenhouses" out of sheds with garden pots like shown here. No maintenance except for harvesting. Ancient Fruit can't grow in pots, though.
RE:Farm Cave: Making money EARLY game lets you get stuff off the ground faster. I've tried several playthroughs and I can _definitely_ tell you that the Fruit Bat Cave stinks. It's not even _close_ to being balanced. Red and Purple Mushrooms are worth way more than any type of fruit the bats can bring you, and you get 6 mushrooms every day (I have seen fruit bat dry spells of 4+ days!). Even if you get nothing but Common Mushrooms, you will still get at least 2x the gold you'd get out of the fruit bats (finding two red mushrooms is common enough that it is noticeable during your first two seasons). It is true that the CC wants at bare minimum 1 pomegranate and 3 apples, but I have a playthrough on Summer Y2 that does not have the CC finished. Why? I have not gotten ONE SINGLE APPLE out of that stupid bat cave. Sadly, I also forgot to plant an apple tree, on top of that. So, please plant an Apple and a Pomegranate tree during early Summer so that this won't happen to you. I know fruit trees are kinda meh, but getting the apples and pomegranate guaranteed and not having to pray for luck at the merchant cart is a Godsend.
I've used both & they both have their uses. Early gifts/CC stuff from fruit & can be ignored, great mining energy supply with mushrooms but it's a daily task. CA is nerfing the mushroom cave in 1.6 to produce every other day to make it slightly less OP.
@@victoriahewitt9938 Funny thing is, for longest time I thought it was every other day already until I started checking it daily and it was like "OH, that's every day!? huh never knew" ... even every other day it's still 3x better than bats. Bats need to be more consistent for them to get anywhere near. I've had 5-7 day stretches of zero fruit before. Even if you only get 6 common mushrooms every other day, it's still better.
@@Dhalin Yeah, I enjoy both depending on what playstyle is for that farm. I wish the fruit cave gave nicer fruit, as I mainly get salmonberries & blackberries, but I always marry Elliott & it's potentially the quickest way for me to get loved gifts (high quality pomegranates). Harvesting mushrooms felt like a waste of time after awhile as I already had enough mushrooms for energy & there were more profitable ways to spend my time. Either way I've never regretted my decisions. I guess the cave just isn't as important as we tend to think of it? Or maybe that's just me lol.
@@victoriahewitt9938 In my latest playthrough, one thing I really like, is saving up ingredients to make life potions. The cave gives all the ingredients, though purple mushrooms are rare from the cave, every now and then, the odd mushroom floor will give you several life potions if you kept any morels or chantarelles you found in the cave. And also, since it's not based upon gathering skill, all the mushrooms are normal quality which means they will all stack, instead of having a few silvers, a few golds, etc until you get gathering 10 and if you're making potions, you don't care about the quality.
In fairness, you were right! It WAS every other day, then an update unintentionally changed it to every day - it's just being reverted to every other in this next update :^)
For the foragables one: go foraging on SATURDAYS not Sunday to collect all the spawned items for the week, on Sunday any unharvested goods despawn
You are correct!
I miss spoke 😪
I love that a trucker wants more luck, and in doing so gives away a luck-increasing charm for something luck-worthless.
Maybe they're just dating 6 people at once and want to be safe
"Pineapples are like ancient fruit. They reproduce in 7 days, but I can do it quicker"
Having a rabbit foot in your backpack makes a difference for the 10 Heart Group cutscenes if you are dating all the bachelor(ette)s.
👆
So that's why the trucker needs one...

which mod specifically shows the step and the luck on the following day? (the one mentioned in 2:03)

don't do the pineapples in the pots because you'll have to manually water them. sprinklers don't work on pots :(
