Thanks! Can you do an expedited follow up/progress report on the swags? Maybe aa breakdown pair segment in 6-8 weeks, with a focus on what they match up/compliment. Keep up the good work!
Yo thanks!!! Yeah what I had planned on doing is taking all 6 of them out for a practice session on the house shot and going through the whole progression, so start at the top with the Judge and work my way down. I did get out and practice some with all of them a few days ago, and found some extra things out, some nuances that I think will be helpful, so definitely going to do a follow up with them as a whole, especially when I get some real league and tournament time on them. I have a weekend tournament coming up this weekend, another one in a couple weekends, plus a couple leagues a week and they'll all get time.
Adding to one of your comments. It isnt so much about hitting flush, it is more about what does it do on half pocket hits. If the 4 kicks the 7 or 6 kicks out the 10; that is a sure sign you have the right ball in your hand entering the pocket at the right angle. We can make an 8 pound house ball carry all 10 hitting flush. But on the flip side, we can also make a 15 pound ball hit like a 12. I tell bowlers all the time to not concentrate so much on the flush hits but more on the half pocket ones. If they carry; then loosen up the swing because the pocket is wiiiiiiide.
I have the XXXmas and it's probably one of my top balls for league settings, so I feel that this one would be one of the top sellers for Swag going forward
It's a good looking ball for sure. Question: Is it more red in person? I still use the old Fab Hammers, Red, Blue. I was thinking about trying a pearl. This would definitely be different form what I have. Question: What do you think about this one?
@@LukeRosdahl I don't understand your answer. What does nah, it's definitely the pink and blue. Do you mean the ball is pink and blue and no red in it?
I don't really understand your question, the ball is pink, blue, and black, there's no red at all, so I'm not sure why you're asking if it's red in person, especially since you're seeing the real ball in the video, in addition to the close up pic of it in the layout photo and not just a stock picture. Sure, sometimes the stock photos can look pretty different from the actual ball, but you're seeing the real ball in the video . . so it's bright pink, bright blue, and black, not red in person at all, and the colors are called black, pink, and blue in the ball description on the website.
So far I personally like the Fusion and this one the best, I think the general public will probably like the Unreal the best though, it's the most "familiar" feeling one of the bunch. They do kind of feel like Motiv balls in the sense that they can seem kind of lazy until you get your hand doing the right thing and then it's free. I got a good amount of time on them on the house shot a couple days ago, and the Fusion I think is still my favorite but this one is right there too. The Fusion and Unreal probably give you the best feel for all of them in general, the Unreal is just a stronger and sharper version of the two Crazes, while the Fusion is a weaker Judge kind of feel, the Dragon is somewhat in between. Or if you want to go cheap, Fusion and Craze Pearl would be my picks, but realistically Fusion and Unreal aren't costing you much either. They seem to like a soft float the best, if I really bang on them, they kind of bog down, if I send them, they're slow making the corner, but a nice easy float and letting them slow down and walk up is the easy button.
They have to adjust the densities of the cores to make them available in the different weights, and that can mess with the numbers. Depending on the size and shape of the core, it can be more or less significant, and this one seems like it's more of a change from weight to weight than most balls are. Given the same core and cover though, shouldn't feel a ton different.
Core is similar, but it's a new cover. The RG is lower on the Crazes vs the Shields, so same core shape but they did tweak all these cores slightly, they're not just straight up the same thing, plus like I said, the covers are all new.
Do you have a Swag ball that would be a step or two down from a Dark Web Solid? One of these newer ones Edit: im very unfamiliar with the coverstock chemistry and this factor matters to me for determining strength/length/hook window etc. i know thats unusual. Dark Web Solid has Aggression coverstock (same as Widow 2.0 solid)
@@LukeRosdahl you're the man, Luke. Appreciate it Edit: honestly I think the craze pearl is earlier than the solid simply because of the 1500 polished instead of the 3000 on the solid. Also, I'm leaning more towards the craze line I think. But that's based off initial looks. Appreciate the response
@@LukeRosdahl interesting.. I guess I'll have to wait until it's confirmed to be a typo or not for my final decision Edit: it was a typo, bowlersmart has it listed at 3000 polished
Symmetric No Rules Pearl, thats some Triple OG talk bro!
@Luke Rosdahl How does this ball compare to the Hustle Camo?
I still have a NIB NR Pearl…..trying to figure out if to punch it or sell it

Sounds great!
What are the odds there will be a "Swag Bag" for Pawsitive Tails?!
Lol maybe we could arrange that . .
I think I may like this ball the best of all the new swag releases . I also love the unique look . Excellent review Luke

Just picked up a Vise tournament bag. Pretty well priced and your links are easy to use.

Nah, it's definitely the pink and blue. I thought I made it pretty clear in the video what I thought of this one lol, I really like it.

What would consider to be the best of the Swag bunch? I'll likely drill 1 or 2 to try them out.

I like the way this ball rolls down the lane . I think I may like this one best of the new swag balls
I don't think you ramble. I appreciate the "flurry" of thoughts/observations that help me a lot.😊
I always thought my vibe was way too chuggy and never did corner very well
Arctic is definitely chuggy, and maybe it just needs more oil?
Would this fill the void left when my hustle 3tp cracked? Haven't been able to play 10-5 since.
It should, it's right in that same strength zone.
Question why is the Dif so much higher on the 14lb ball than the 15 lb ?
Thank you.

@ thank you very much for the response, great reviews by the way, the swag ball look pretty good. ✌🏻
Re-releaae of the Shield. Looks good though and the shield was great last year but didn't get talked about enough. Good stuff.

Fusion if you still want earlier and smoother, or Unreal if you want a cleaner and sharper reaction.

I'm not so sure the listed surfaces are accurate, I think they're both the same surface, probably a typo.
