You really captured the essence of boating. The simple pleasure of the open water and the excitement of arriving in new harbours is what it’s all about. Sharing it all with a mate must have been the icing on the cake. I’m now going to watch the next episode 😊
Nick and Greg let loose on the sea between Dartmouth and Falmouth to and from. Two great explorers together, despite the sea rollers they bravely sally forth on an adventure of a lifetime at 21 knots. Those two boats showed they are equal to the challenge. Thanks for taking us along. Great fun thanks Greg and Nick.
Well done nick and greg for allowing us to join you on your trip from Dartmouth to Falmouth in a near perfect sea state 65NM in about 4 hours which was good going. I cannot wait to see the following part(s) of this trip as I'm sure you had a blast!
What a joy this was for me, Falmouth was one of my many favorite destinations in England. It's been 30 years and the beauty hasn't changed. Thanks Nick 👍🫡
Great trip alongside Greg, that was so hypnotic, loved the interaction between both boats... The South West is beautiful boating country... I'm going to pour another glass of Muscadet and watch it again! 😊Thanks NI k
A adventure like this is why folks spend the $$$ to buy and maintain a vessel no matter the size !! I wouldn't have a second thought taking Nick's boat from Miami to the Bahama's.. Of course I'd check the weather throughly before setting off into the Gulf Stream !! Smooth sailing Nick and Greg !! 😎
What a blast to go on a trip like that, thanks for taking us along! And that song transition from the boat stereo to the video itself was absolutely top notch! ;)
What a STUNNING video!!! Absolutely spellbinding and utterly inspiring! I've followed your channel for years now... ever since you did that video tour of Noah's Ark 🤣 All those videos of multimillion pound super yachts are amazing, but YOU on your own boat, at sea, is the best content I've seen. The sheer expression of joy and complete satisfaction on your face when you reach Mylor is 100% infectious 😊 I live about 15 miles from Mylor and never owned a boat, but this video has clearly told me to go get one, just like yours, or thereabouts. Thank you, Nick. You're a total inspiration! Darren.
Thanks for taking us along on your big adventure Nick. Saw the three super yachts last week in the Dart. Impressive, but a lot more fun to be had on Smugglers & Dreams 😎
Thank you once again Nick. The enthusiasm Greg and yourself have for your boating adventures is infectious. An absolute treat for your followers and I’m sure that, like myself, they are awaiting the next episode. Take care and stay safe. Stan
Well done Nick and Greg, good on you for making 'one day' into this day, great stuff about adventure and mateship, look forward to seeing the travels continue
Oh Nick, this was fabulous. I am so glad you brought us all along for the ride and what a great edit with the music from live to studio ( this must have been from YT studio) great stuff 👍👍
Really like watching your SB adventures. I live in Atlanta, have only ever passed through London on layovers, but am now fully able to recognize landmarks on the Dart before you point them out on your videos 🤣. Thanks for the education!
O M G what a beautiful day and the weather, perfect it just looks like you’re in the Med . You both looked like you’re having the time of your life, thank you Nick for letting us into your fantastic day, i wish you all the best Cheers Marc 👍👍👍
Men and machines in perfect harmony with the love of the sea and what life can offer with such a great adventure. Thanks Nick and Greg- looking forward greatly to your next episode!
Nice trip! Here in the US, we do have many boating options and opportunities. The ICW, inland waterways, Canada, etc.. But one of my favorite trips was on a canal boat NW of London about 20 years ago. Manually operated locks, the warm coziness of the canal boat, and the countryside landscapes. I will never forget. Cheers!
Just brilliant and thank you both so much for taking us along. Love seeing the Eddystone Lighthouse I have a book on the history of this somewhere (the first one was I believe wooden!)which I shall now spend ages trying to find. It is amazing how enjoy time not far from your own doorstep can be so enjoyable and not to be taken for granted.
What a great day. You don't realize how big Dolphins are till they are close up. I found out in a novel way, must be over 30 years ago now while I was in Dingle in Co Kerry; paddling about on my wind surfer ( no sail) hoping Fungi, the resident Dolphin would make an appearance. Much to everybody's delight he did, he loved people. He came behind my board and first indication I had that he was there was when the nose of my board lifted in to the air. I turned around and there he was , head resting on the board with that unique Dolphin grin. A great memory for me. Poor old Fungi disappeared. Its reckoned he got called by Neptune; he'd been playing about in Dingle for nearly forty years. Looking forward to the return trip Nick, looking at the clouds there may have been a bit of a change in the weather?
Thank you Nick and Greg for bringing us along. I had a rough weekend. This is just what I needed. I feel much more relaxed. I can’t wait to see what else you guys get up to!!
Great video. Greg’s a bit of a natural and the audio mix at 26:00 was almost like you’re a professional who knows what he’s doing 😀. Looking forward to episode 2.
Absolutely marvelous! To be doing a lovely trip such as this and accompanied by your best friend....thats how you make memories! And just to put the icing on the cake...beautiful scenery to boot! CHEERS!!!
My goodness Nick; that took me back. I used to live in Falmouth, and kept my beloved converted ASR (Air Sea Rescue) boat there in the Penryn moorings. Mylor of course, is just a little way up from there. You certainly had nice sea conditions all the way; what a great video. "Smuggler's" did you proud.
Well .. cast it to the telly, a few beers and this is better than a bloody film ..what a great watch on a Sunday lunch .. extremely interesting lads 😁👍👍🏴
Absolutely wonderful video Nick. Grand to see Greg and yourself ticking off what must be a bucket list item. Can't wait to watch the next one. CHEERS!!
Interesting seeing a boat the same model as ours in your videos haha, the one laying long side at 34:58 in between the sail boats on the left side on the video is a Gobbi 335. Pretty rare as it was replaced by the Gobbi 345 just a year or two after it was launched. Only difference on the 345 being a added-on bathing platform. The bathing platforms on 335 is pretty much useless, which is why one of the previous owners of our 335 custom fit a Windy platform on it. The 335/345 had an insanely long life as well, was built from 1997 to 2006-ish as Gobbi, then Azimut acquired the entire Gobbi brand, rebranded it and continued to sell the 345 from 2006 to 2011 as a Azimut Atlantis.
2 Beautiful ships making the water look so smooth.Kudos to the Builders, and the Captains, of course. Nick not rocking the "K-Pop"? LoL.. Had to get you to smile again. Thank you both, for this wonderful adventure...so far...
🦘🇦🇺 WOW Five years in the making. So this is what it was all about. Straight across the bottom. Spectacular. Thanks for taking us along Nick. Looks fab on the big screen. 💙🛟🙏
I can’t state how much I appreciate this kind of content. The reviews are great but this boating vlog type content is what I stay for. Also ‘steampunk’ - you get Gibson points for that.

Great voyage!! We were last in the Dart and on down to Falmouth in 2014 in our gaff cutter Greenwitch - now sold away to Denmark! It was a wonderful two and a half months but somewhat slower than Smugglers Blues 2!!! Really enjoying all your vlogs.
An enjoyable trip to be included in....but also a bit sad. All that adventure & joy to be had, and yet so long in the waiting. A good lesson for all of us, I think.
What fantastic memories guys, beautiful weather and captured so well. You're living the dream, I'm not a boat owner but so appealing. Greg your a natural chap and can see you and Mr Nick are great friends, one thing I wanted to ask, was it that 5 years in the making 😂 can't remember if you mentioned it.
Who the hell needs a super yacht when so much fun can be had with your boats Nick and Greg !
Yeah, a super yacht requires a crew so what does the owner do? The fuel costs from moving a small village around are also astronomical.
Thank you Nick and to Greg for sharing that trip with us it looked great looking forward to the next time .
Glad you enjoyed it! 😃

Two old friends taking their boats for a spin in beautiful surroundings... what's not to like? 😊

Stay tuned, Part 2 is already online, parts 3 and 4 are coming!
Boys, that is what boating is all about. Quality!

I've got tea brewing in the pot in the mountains of Crete, Greece, the video on pause & ready to play... Love it... Here we gooooo.... ⚓🚤😎
