The video has all the essentials: beautiful scenery, great people on their boats out on the water, remarkable cities and even a lesson in historical and technical aspects. Thanks Nick and Greg.
In this chaotic world we live in, watching your videos, Nick, is my happy place. Thank you for sharing Nick and Greg’s Excellent Adventure! So much fun!❤
Oooh I spotted an Ocean 37 :4:13 Nice to see the same model we have :) Really enjoying this series Nick great to see you and Greg out and about, now that Mrs Catt has gotten the bug we must plan a trip over to the UK in our boat now that the registration has come through and we can leave our mooring. We are moored at a very busy lock between two lakes in Holland and about 20 boats come through each way in a single locking, sitting onboard watching them and so tempted to take a potter out ;) Part 3 will be tomorrow evening
Very nice outing indeed; England has some beautiful waterways. Good friends out for a cruise, what more could you ask for. Thanks Greg and Nick for letting us tag alone
I don’t think I shall ever get as far as Falmouth myself so it was great to experience this trip with you. Very interesting, very amusing and hugely enjoyable - thanks for taking me with you!
Ciao Nick, thank you (Grazie Mille) for sharing this beautiful documented boating video, aboard your boat with your friends, showing us guys the fantastic sailing beautiful scenery, and its boats and yachts. Lots of wood, lol 😂, and a church!!! Dio te benedica, love from Italy 🇮🇹 xxx
Absoluteley brilliant day out boys, lovely scenery down that part of the world, also a nice Nod to the brave boys that set out to Omaha. Thank you Nick and Greg.
Loving this ‘Big Adventure’ series. You two are like a pair of naughty school boys, great fun. Thx for these, really making me laugh and seeing places from the water view instead of the land to sea view I’m used to. Cheers. 😊🫡
Excellent. Falmouth is a fantastic playground, with nice restaurants to visit too. You can see why it is so beloved by yachties. Pendennis is a world class shipyard. I am kind of hoping that you are also visiting Helford River.....my favourite, and Fowey on the way back. This is a great series, makes me feel as if I am on the journey with you!
Superb, I've been waiting for this next segment. It couldn't be better, makes me want a boat that isn't just for fishing, top times for Nick and Greg.👍🏴
Loved this vlog. Two mates messing about on the water was incredibly enjoyable to watch. Nick and Greg, you make a great team. More like this, please. Also, a bit of radio talk to the Harbour Master was great. Loved it. Thanks for showing us your little adventure. 😉
Really really enjoyed that Nick. Greg comes across as great fun. You two have good chemistry. Wonderful scenery and light hearted humour. Wish I could have been aboard. Cheers. K
My grandfather left for the ww2 from Falmouth, he sailed to Singapore as a 16 year old. He had no idea where he sailed from until we went on holiday in the 80's and he recognised it. It is a beautiful natural harbour.
@@Gary.Morton. thank you. He left as a naive 16 year old doing his duty for the country, and returned as a 23 years old man who had spent most of the interim time in Changii jail, and on the Burma railway. He was extremely fortunate to survive, almost every one of the friends he made didn't.
I had family who lived in St. Mawes , I spent all my summers from around 1980-86 here, loved it.. Family had a shop on the front called 'Ship-Shape-shop' , i did a bit of jumping into the sea from those walls where kids were, got thrown in off ferry quay once too .. Stunning place.... I have not been back there for 38 years, so glad you visited. brought back so many memories... Thank you , I will be putting a revisit on the agenda now !!!
Part 2 fantastic Nick. I commented on part one that my wife and I visited Falmouth on a cruise ship, and yes that ship Ambition was the ship we were on. Our first ever cruise, Liverpool-Belfast-Cork-Falmouth-Liverpool…such a shame I didn’t get to say hello to you…Falmouth was an absolute delight too, best wishes…
Hi, a wonderful place Falmouth harbor , spent many a time out there and catch the tripper boat up to Truro , when the OCEAN going ships are moored up , when cargo is short and 120 feet deep . 100 miles nautical ? Magic all the way .A bit far for our open Scorpion .Rib . Thanks you both for the trip .😉👍👍
Hi Greg Hi Nick, What a nice day to do sight seeing in the area of Falmouth by boat for one person back to memory lane and the other everything brand new to see great with the camera so we can also enjoy this nice area very nice indeed what a great show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hi Nick & Greg! Part two equally as enjoyable as last week, but in a different way. Interesting facts about the location and some of the boats on the river. Scenery is, as you say, absolutely stunning/spectacular. A different perspective from the water as opposed to the land. Thank you for taking us along and we look forward to the next episode. Take care and stay safe. Stan 😀🤓
I can't tell you how much I am enjoying this Adventure - I have always wanted to be able to go by boat around all these areas - I've been onland but as I used to be a 'boater' but on the brown North Sea, the south coast is so much more attractive. Just feels like I am living it myself lol. thank you for taking 'us' along with you both
The "Purple Funnel".... great name for a pub..... navigation by public house....love it ....a bit like my navigation by Chinese restaurant.... a lovely potter around a beautiful waterway.... Many thanks Greg & Roger. Cheers S
Hi Nick, Greg, no work, no women chewing your ear off and a beautifully sunny day, in a stunning location. Absolute heaven! You should make this an annual event. Thank you for taking us along, superb! Best wishes, from Bryan, Malta 🇲🇹
Hi Nick, we were down in Falmouth about ten days ago and went for a pleasure cruise from Custom House Quay up the Fal as Smugglers Cottage which is as far as you went. Absolutely beautiful time was had with a great skipper giving a great commentary along the route. One interesting fact given was where the black and white American tug was moored is the hull ( literally just the hull no upper decks) of a very large partially super yacht that was being constructed in the Pendennis Shipyard for a client. Apparently the client visited the yard to view progress on the build and decided he didn't like the shape of the yacht so the project was halted ! . After a while the hull was moved up the Fal to it's current mooring and will eventually be taken back to the shipyard and finished, then sold off. Really enjoying the adventure series thusly far 😅. . Happy sailing 🛥️
What an amazing estury of the river Fal, I can see why in WW2 it was a staging post for US troops to Omaha. St Justin's in Roseland (wrong spelling?) looks like I'll have to add the Fal estuary snd surrounding area to my list of places to visit. Thank you for including us on Nick and Greg's fantastic adventure. Beautiful scenery, historic ports and villages, clear skies and a calm estuary. Two enthusiastic and chatty sailors. A great day out and we come too. Thank you.
You turned round half a mile short of the beautiful village of Malpas on your trip up the Fal and Truro rivers. There is awalk ashore visitor pontoon you can stay afloat on at all states of the tide to get to the cafe and a great pub...
I Used to work for pendennis ship yard before working on the local ferries.. the boat you pointed out is owned by David Healey who owns Healeys cider farm known for Rattler cider
Nice trip again Nick. And you see now that you are single again you can still have fun with or without friends, and life flies by so enjoy Smuglers Blues as much as possible. In the Netherlands we have a saying: "Life is a party, but you have to hang the streamers yourself" Take care.

Roger the Cabin Boy was actually Tom the Cabin Boy as The Guardian and Sunday Correspondent found to their cost! 😉 Some myths never die 🤣
