My checkmate can be moved from mower to mower. With two cotter pins.
Is yours for a riding mower? My checkmate is bolted in to the wheels so there’s no way to move it from one to another

@@treasuredLawn I just bought mine this spring. It maybe a new adaptation. But when I don’t want it on, I just pull the cotter pins.

Or you could just get a mower with a rear roller, for folks in the UK Hayter are pretty much the go to for this but I think Honda and a few other big name brands are getting in on the game too.
This would be preferred I wish more companies did this for rotary mowers

I went from a checkmate to a lawn striper as well. There’s many times I didn’t want to stripe and taking off and on was a pita.
I agree! The checkmate is just a bummer if you need to remove it. It stripes well but if you need it off it’s more of a hassle to remove and put it back on.
Looked up the lawn stryper and it says it specifically won't fit the new aluminum deck 22 inch ego. Ohh well hopefully ego comes out with their own for that mower. Have the striping kit for my old ego but they don't fit on the new one.
Just go get that green machine 😂 but I won’t be surprised if lawn stryper eventually designs the piece for it the ego I’m sure it’s just gunna take a little time to get it built up. Idk though they had so many pieces to use.
