Cracking footage Andy. It's nigh on 30 years since I was up there. Back when I was in the TA, we had a crack at the Welsh 3000 (all the 3000 foot peaks in Snowdonia in one day). We spent the Friday night bivvied on the summit of Snowdon (that was a cold night) then got up at sparrows fart and descended to Pen-Y-Pass to begin the ascent of the Glyder Range and Tryfan. By the time we got down to Llyn Ogwen, they wouldn't let us continue as we would have been on the Carnedd's in the dark. Gutted - but that's Army adventure Training rules for you. But I do have a pic of me mid air between Adam and Eve on Tryfan. The rusty bullet hole was going six pence - threpny bit I can tell you. There's no shame in bailing on that challenge. It's amazing how the weather has sculpted the rock up there, truly awesome. Sadly the state of my ankles means I'll probably never set foot up there again. Well I might get up there, but I'd never make it down without a ride in a helicopter. Cheers - Andy
Cracking vid that Andy, really enjoyed it. That scramble looked epic, hats off mate for ticking that off. Stunning scenery and lovely drone footage too. Thanks for taking us along. Oh and nice rucksack btw 😉. Atb , Dave
Wow.!! Bloody marvellous views Andy. Absolute belter this one mate. Still got work to do at me nieces house in wrexham and shes up there all the time so it may take some to complete the job.😎 Brilliant one this Andy. Cheers mate.👍👍👍
Great watch as always mate so far behind with UA-cam I’m working my way through your last lot of videos 🙏🏻 what a trip that was pal the formations of the landscape are crazy around there, look so rugged but still beautiful 👌🏻… I would of been squeaky bum time too on some of those climbs especially the open parts 😆😂 fair play mate you pushed through. Great vlog pal enjoyed that one immensely ATB Dan
Holy cow, that shot from 4:05 mins in with the road in view, really puts into perspective how steep that scramble is.. bloody brilliant video as always and great to see Dave the Solo summiteer with you. All top blokes.
Belter Andy! Well done - pushing yourself can really pay dividends when you have knowledgeable support with you, Epic views. I enjoyed this one too! ;-)
What an excellent video and some brilliant views which bring back many happy memories of doing that exact same walk some 30 years ago. Am now disabled but can only dream and keep watching your channel!
Great video Andy, what a place 👌, that was some tough but great looking scramble sections, makes it that bit more sketchy with them high winds 😮, you got some cracking moody drone shots too 👍, epic mate, atb Mick (new sub) 👍
Said you were in for a treat on the North Ridge. One of those routes to savour and take your time to enjoy, much more fun than slogging up steep paths. And you've made a cracking video of it. Thanks for sharing.
youre right id much more enjoyed that climbing than just slogging up the paths..fantastic trip really enjoyed it & we'll be back to tackle bristly in more favourable conditions tfw.
Well done Andy, a grade one scramble just carrying a day pack is a good day out in itself but carrying a full pack displaces your centre of gravity big time which effects your confidence and safety specially in strong winds so well done on the filming too. I always think those type of rock structures look like massive iron filings on a magnet.
You guys were treated to some magnificent Snowdonia views. Great filming and nicely edited, you're the best mountain vlogger I've seen. Can't wait for the next'un!
Nice one Andy, looked a knarly hard climb, always good to challenge your comfort zone which you seemed to do very well. Awesome views in your footage and I really enjoyed watching your adventure. ATB, Steve.
I’m climbed Mountain behind you on the other side camping on pen yr ole wen back in March. It was a nightmare! I’m looking to camp up here soon. I’ve looked at the route think I’ll take the easier path up via ogwen cottage and the miners path avoiding Brisly ridge. That looked very hard up Tryfan and you had packs on too.
Plenty of underwear on that one Andy.😜Stunning views. Not sure you climbed uo Adam n Eve, no pics to prove it 🤪Great videos with some awesome shots of those views. Enjoyed that one.👍⛰
This bri gs back great memories of my younger days when I did a lot of climbing in Wales with my Dad. Anyway hats off to you Andy... no pun intended, top,top video, nowadays I think I'll stick to the Peak District though 🤔
Brilliant that, Andy. Definitely more climbing than scrambling in parts! Probably a touch hairier than I’d like but those views are worth it. Incredible!
Some adventure that mate!!!! I climbed Tryfan about 12 years ago. It was my first experience in the mountains and I definitely felt I’d bitten too much off. My heart was going like the clappers. Looks like you had a cracking time though. We’ll done mate 👍
Absolute pleasure to watch, said "wow" aloud to myself about a dozen times just watching on my phone! I've followed your for a few years now and this has to be up there with the best. Did make a note to self, if a climb is making Andy Beavers arse twitch, I'm not attempting this lifetime 😆. Safe travels for the next one!
Cracking vlog Andrew. I don’t blame you mate, with those winds I wouldn’t have been standing up on the cannon either! 🤣 Thanks for sharing your adventure as always! 👍
Superb that Andy. Really enjoyed watching… from the safety of my couch. Some cracking scenery. Looked a cracking trip… fair play to you for pushing yourself 💪🏼… some lovely drone shots too. take it easy and TFS! Craig
cheers craig ayy mate it was a real eye opener the climbing but loved it mate much prefered that to just slogging up the steep path route.looking forward to getting back up there & doing some winter stuff tfw mate.
Looked epic did that Andy. Mountainous terrain at it’s best there. I don’t blame you for being a bit wary with that scramble. The drops did look very steep. Autumn is definitely in the air now once that sun sets. Won’t be long before you’re scraping ice off the tent again!
I'm really enjoying your trips into Snowdonia Andy. It's a tremendous route that. I remember the steepness of Tryfan but liked the way you gain height quickly. Where you got in mind there next.....Snowdon, Carneddau maybe? ATB mate. 👍
cheers chris yeah its a beast alright loved climbing it ill deffo do it again..got lots of plans for over there..a route with a camp on a summit called yr elen is gonna be one of the next trips over tfw mate.
Amazing watch this and reminded me when i did this route on my own last year but also did the sinister gully which is exposed and with some harder climbs but absolutely loved all of it, one of the best if not these best mountains to climb in Wales
Sounds like you had a great time. I haven’t done the routes you have done so was good to see them in action. I was camping up there the same night further over but I went up Glyder Fach as you came down. Hope you get to enjoy more of Wales and Snowdonia in the near future, there’s always something different even when you back to the same places but taking different routes.
Andrew better man than me lol, I have a tendancy to get really dizzy at heights, to the point I black out! Plus with that wind, no way hosea! Great video.
i been subscribed to your channel for some time now just haven't had the times to watch any of your stuff the last two videos you made is by far the best i watched for ages keep up the good work ..... the Voyager is one of my favorite tents of all the ones i own, did you develop a technique for pitching it in the rain yet? i did experiment with some different things myself. any way first class video best regards from scandinavia
thanks sheldon scandinavia now theres a place id like to visit..the scotland trip we had a lot of heavy rain but we took oportunities when the rain dropped off to pitch & de camp so not had to pitch in rain just yet..its one of those tents where the more you pitch it the quicker you get with it..well regards from sunny yorkshire sheldon & thanks for watching.

Holy cow, that shot from 4:05 mins in with the road in view, really puts into perspective how steep that scramble is.. bloody brilliant video as always and great to see Dave the Solo summiteer with you. All top blokes.
