Disturbing, to say the least, but a remarkable portrayal of pressure and punishment when it comes to female sexuality.
The way that she goes from devalued, to ridiculed, to wanted, to attacked, really shows the kind of entrapment we feel. The fact that when he asks what he can do to her, she offers up sex because women are taught to submit and bargain with our bodies. The poor girl didn’t know what else to do. And that man thought he was the authority on a woman’s value and that she deserved to be punished for trying to embrace her sexuality and losing her virginity.

this is actually one of the first horror shorts, or horror pieces in general, that i actually thoroughly enjoyed. i discovered this when i was first starting to get into horror. there was nothing abt this that was even remotely bad. the acting, script, roles, and overall atmosphere of this short was like, genuinely bone chilling. i think what also gave it a scarier effect is how realistic it was. something like this could happen to any one of us and the screenwriters, producers, and directers all worked together to create a vivid masterpiece. a job well done, to say the least.

Quite possibly the coolest horror short I've seen. The smooth-talking serial killer with a Southern drawl is played so well.... reminiscent of Henry from Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer (which is the best psychological horror film you've never seen).

I'm watching this for the second time and I'll be honest, I didn't quite understand the movie because I was young, but this time, I had chills running down my spine! My heart was pounding so fast and I was so pumped up in the last couple scenes, it was awesome! This horror-thriller is so well done, I think it's one of the best works of this channel. Great film!
