My family and I just got back from Spain where we spent most of our time in Andalusia. It was simply spectacular and was honestly the best vacation I’ve ever taken. We stayed in Malaga, Marbella & Sevilla….and I wish we had even more time to explore other cities. Make it a priority to visit!
I got married in the Cathedral at Marbella... I was wearing an Indian Sari and the locals were pretty fascinated by this. It was in 1968... I lived at Marbella a few years... Of course I visited Rhonda many times, very wonderful! I went to Nerja on many weekend trips. We later lived at Mijas and went on adventures every weekend... I went to the Alhambra many times... Granada is truly special, yes. Strangly, I don't remember going to Cadiz or Cordoba in the nine years I lived in Southern Spain... but maybe I did... Special places I enjoyed are Antequera and Tolox as well as Malaga City. It was very different and less developed when I lived there from 1968 to 1977...
@@PlacesandBeaches Antequera has the most amazing rock formations. A pretty famous place, I don't know what it is like now but several of my friends and I went there and just stayed inside the rocks for several days. We slept on the grass and woke up to the sound of bells that the goats were wearing.. Many goats were just roaming inside there in those days. It was very magical and Spiritual. I miss Spain a lot but I had to come back to Canada even though I did not want to. We did not see any other people there for several days that we enjoyed the beauty of it ... it is called El Torcal...
Spain is amazing and full of surprises and it is easy to travel from one destination to another. I travel a bit in Spain but so many places left. Thank you for the beautiful video
Apart from Nerja and Cadiz, I did visit the rest of the cities on day trips from Torremolinos as well as Malaga too. Andalusia has so much to offer and see
I backpacked andalucia this winter. One of my best holidays I've experienced. Having done the North of Spain one winter 20 years ago they are equally impressive. I would probably choose San sebastian Barcelona granada seville malaga but you could can't go wrong with any selection.
@@laaaah4577 weird shenanigans with cloud esp in Benidorm but only rained once in December. . I noticed its been like that in most euro countries. Check out a docu called weather weapons I enjoyed 25 degrees antalya Turkey in November but there's not many flights in winter to antalya.
Can anyone suggest a good -beautiful-amazing hotel ? Planning to go beginning of October.Did anyone visited around this time, I guess the temperature is still good and nice for sunbathing
Thank you for the good words! It is very nice to hear this! As for Cádiz, thank you! I am so grateful, I learned something new today. We never stop learning in this life :)
Ronda, the most impressive city in the interior of Andalusia and where do you leave Cordoba, Granada and especially Seville? Nor is Ronda the birthplace of bullfighting because it has the oldest bullring, contemporary with the bullring in Seville. There are older ones in Spain. Before, the bullrings were made of wood. Also, it surprises me that they include Marbella or Nerja, when there are beautiful and more authentic places, like Ubeda, Baeza, Setenil de las bodegas or Carmona...
Podria decir de Cadiz, que cuenta en su costa con muchas de las mejores playas de España, de arena fina y dorada y amplias tanto por su km de longitud como anchura, de aguas limpias puesto que son aguas abiertas al Oceano Atlantico.
Great video, excellent historic and travel information for tourists planning to visit. May I please suggest that correct pronunciation of Muslims is “moslems” (close to 5:50) - thanks !🙏
Nerja was overrated. It’s California crowded. However, you have some great small towns and cities on here. Spain is beautiful and I love and respect their culture.
good video but bad pronunciation in the names, Alhambra, the H/h in Spanish is silent, it has no sound except if it accompanies a c for the ch, the letter LL/ll in Spanish has a sound similar to the English J/j.
Thank you for the video which has excellent content but due to my poor hearing I could only watch a little because I couldn’t hear the words. Shame because it was just what I wanted to watch.

Thanks for this video🙏🏻
Thank you! Enjoy, both cities are amazing

Marbella is not great, Malaga is one of the best and maybe the best (atmosphere, food) from oktober till april imo.

Wow, long time ago. Thank you for your comment and the places you have mentioned. I didn't visit Antequera and Tolox yet, will definitely check them.

Málaga y pueblos, costas ❤
I had a pleasure to visit Andalucia last year’s summer but missed Esteponia and Rhonda. Will make it a goal next time 🎯
Yes, these two towns are a must visit. Also close to each other, both can be visited within one day.
I love the quality and vibe of your content. It`s really relaxing. Thank you a lot! By the way it`s not cadIz but cAdiz. The emphasis is on A not I)

Is this place great for this winter? Gladly to hear if someone will respond me. And how to get there? Thank u ☺️
Do you refer to a specific town? As to your second question, how to get here from where?
I’ve been to Sevilla, now deciding between Cadiz, Malaga or Nerja. We want a nice summer beach place. Which one is better?
Definitely Nerja

I think 2 weeks would be enough

What is the name of the soundtrack you used?
Thank you! I don' really remember the name of the song.

Thank you!
Not Estepona?! I'm shocked. Easily one of the most picturesque and cute towns of Andalusia.
Estepona is a nice town, it is definitely worth to be in top 10 places in Andalusia

What 2 or 3 places would best to take a pregnant wife at the end of april :) ?
Nerja, Estepona, Ronda, beautiful and easy to walk 🙂
Avoid visiting Granada in summer.
To me the best time to visit Granada is in the winter
What about May???
It is a good month to visit as well, but it starts getting hot
No Huelva, no like
Huelva will definitely be in the next videos 🙂
