Just a heads up for all you 21 Honda CRF450 owners out there. Honda has put out a Service Bulletin to address the bad mapping issue. Your local Honda dealership should be able to take care of your bike free of charge. Hope this helps
You're right, the stock wheels are very good and I didn't put the Tusk wheels on because I think they're any better than the stock. In this case, having the extra set of wheel is always nice for a few reasons. If you get a flat you don't have to worry about changing a tube, just swap wheels. 2. You can have two different tires depending on track conditions 3. If you break a wheel, you already have a backup 4. White or red hubs on a black wheel looks bithin'! You don't have to have an extra set of wheels, but in my opinion, an extra set of wheels is a better purchase than an exhaust or that new pant, jersey, glove, goggle combo you've been wanting haha. - Chase
@@rmatvmc that is all true but I just wish I could afford dirtstars 😂 let alone a 21 450r I don’t have anything against tusk it’s going to be my best option for the money when I can get around to ordering some wheels for my 02 cr125r and cause I can get red hubs
I purchased a set of Tusk rims for my 2007 KX250 build and they are rock solid. For the price point for a brand new set of rims, they are hard to beat. Plus they’ve taken a good beating and hold up really well ✊🏼💨
Just wondering which Attack Frame Grip tape is on this bike? I do not see a compatible set of Attack Grip tape on your website that fits the 2021 model?
Man, that is a tough question. I've ridden in the SM10 but not the VFX-EVO. Here is what I can say. The SM10 is lightweight and comfortable and has some unique safety features. However, when it comes to Shoei, or even Arai, it is hard to beat the quality of their helmets. When you hold a Shoei and Arai, they just have a build quality that you don't get with other helmets. I've tried on the Shoei and it is very comfortable, just little heavier. Honestly, I'd probably choose the VFX-EVO if I'm being honest. - Chase

Yes. I went to a 5.8 spring and after riding on it a few more times, I went to to a softer spring. A 5.8 was jus too stiff and the bike wasn't staying squatted. The forks, I put a .52 on one side and left the .50 in the other to get a .51and that was the sweet spot. - Chase
I'm such a noob that I don't notice the bad mapping. To me it just feels like a powerful dirtbike. I can notice the difference if I change the mapping settings but that's about it
@@bradpowell843 I mean choose the Honda if you want worse suspension, handling, and overall performance and the Kawasaki makes about 0.50 more horsepower than the Honda
I absolutely love the bike! One day, one day.
I work for a Honda dealer they have a recall for all 2021 crf450 to correct the mapping issue
Badass bike dude!
Get some radiator guards I got some for mine and it comes in clutch
Best thing to do is. First rip out the 450 motor. Second, install a CR500 motor. Three, the final step is set up the suspension for you. Boom Perfect.

Cant find any info on the service bulletin? Where’d you fond out?

Really? I did just get one last month. I’ll look into it. Thanks for the heads up. 🙂

Not sure if I agree with the wheels the bike came stock with DID dirt stars those top tier wheels

Sweet build for sure just wondering if FMF could bring it up to anyone's standards
That bike looks super sweet 🤙
I have one from 2015, good very good indeed
THE MOTO POWER
Awesome review your videos are so informative. Keep up the good work!
Glad you like them!
I have those arc levers on my KTM 500 and they are great.
oh man those stock graphics are killer I would have kept them, they are a little small though so maybe the same stock graphics but bigger
And having the word ATV on a dirt bike c’mon the stock graphics are way better.
Still not sold on tusk yet. At least the levers I know break really easily. Look cool and feel good though.

It will be available soon!
You need to do a bike build for the 21-22 crf450rx
Not build coming but we did just do a vs with it and a FX450. Be on the lookout for that video! - Chase
I’m looking for a new helmet would you suggest to Alpinestars SM10 or the Shoei VFX EVO?

I want to ride on that golf course. How did you guys pull that off?
Great video Chase! Definitely makes me want to grab gold valves for my builds and do them myself. Did you throw heavier springs on the bike as well?
Yes. I went to a 5.8 spring and after riding on it a few more times, I went to to a softer spring. A 5.8 was jus too stiff and the bike wasn't staying squatted. The forks, I put a .52 on one side and left the .50 in the other to get a .51and that was the sweet spot. - Chase

From what I've heard, some of the bikes it wasn't as bad as others. Mine was so bag you could hear it gurgle. - Chase
Do they force you to put on all those tusk parts? Lol
Tusk makes great stuff!
I love the Honda but I would have gone with a 2021 kx450f
If you are ok being way down on peak power that’s not a bad choice.
