Moore may have been a technically better player than Robbo....but Robbo was much better in Lizzy than Gary was. Especially with the harmony lead thing. Robbo's solos were so memorable as well.
You'd have to ask someone else. Usually what happens is that people collect only those particular interviews of whatever particular band they collect. (Sabbath fans get the Sabbath interviews, Lizzy fans get the Lizzy ones...etc). It would be a hell of a feat to try and get every recording, since they featured many bands.
Brian was obviously sad..he played closer to 12 years with Thin Lizzy, in the Phil Lynott line up, another 2 years in the John Sykes version. A great and highly underrated drummer...in my opinion top 20 rock drummer of all time...no doubt.
This interview is guitarist Brian Robertson however everything you said about Brian Downey is correct he is a fantastic drummer highly under appreciated. Just notice your comment is 11 years old wow!
I remember this show and have the full 2 hours on tape somewhere. Big fan of Lizzy and The Friday Rock Show. Never missed a show.

Nah Moore can outplay Robbo. But who was critical of Yngwie? Moore or Yngwie?
