UK truck driver here, that green machine is an absolute beast, you Americans know how to make a truck thats for sure, get r done boysss, keep on truckin!
Anything is possible in America. My grandfather work for the city of New York transit department. He worked on the old school GM TDH-5105 buses. The ones with the 4-71 and 6-71. In the early 70’s he decided to move to Florida and opened his own diesel service station. It was a small 2 bay shop. Just him and his brothers. Hard work and determination paid off for them. By the mid 70’s they had a 50,000 sq ft facility and many contracts. Eventually they open two more service centers in south Florida.
A picture of each of the trucks would be cool. If you do this, please add the truck's name under each picture. This way when you refer to a specific truck we can picture it. Great attitude, keep it up. Your dad in videos is awesome!!
Hi Tim, Please help Brax fix up that AMAZING black International 9300. The interior is so nice and all it needs is engine and driveline work right? Please get the 9300 running. Its such an iconic and tough looking truck
A tip from someone who runs in Michigan every day liquid electric tape if u test wire slap some on it seals it up also if u use heat shrink connectors apply it over it when u crimp it usually puts small holes in them the liquid electric tape is like tar and dries like rubber
I have a hatred for liquid electrical tape and I live in wisconsin. To many times i see that shit on a probed wire someone "fixed" corrosion will work I to the wiring.
@@firsttimediesels6289 I totally agree....one of my pet peeves is poking holes in wiring or crimp splicing and duct tape....I cut that shit out when I see it . Please people !! Just the other day I replaced about 10 ft. Of bailing wire wrapped in tape spliced in with crimp shrink connector..and honestly I wouldn't have even noticed it if someone hadn't poked it with a test light...hahahah
That's such a good tip I forget to turn the jakes of sometimes and then remember when shifting. After hearing that I won't be doing that any more, love the tips keep em coming you can never know enough about trucks.
I wish I had the confidence you have behind the wheel. After my factory closed I took the truck driving course at the local college and I was such a nervous wreck driving that rig around town, I never drove a big rig again. I passed the exam, but it was a waste of time for me. School buses, box trucks, grain trucks, no semi's. I wanted to make that big money, but my nerves couldn't take it.
Tim, you're the reason I've been watching your videos since the fire, and gotta say encouragement is what helps push forward to reach goals in life. Great Job!
Positive attitude and goals. That the winning ticket. Glad to see you in a much better place mentally and financially. All because of hard work and determination. Well done 👏
The plan you have to use a trailer repair shop will work very well if they do good work and get the trailers done in a timely manner. I did that very thing for many years and had good success keeping the trailers on the road. The trucks are coming together for you now because you have pin pointed your attention to completing each project that you put in front of you. People in the trucking business are getting many lessons on how to survive a catastrophe just by watching you. My best wishes to you.
Someone named Jimmy's W.... posted a pic of the new Black Pete with a big loaf on one of the lomg boat trailers with an object not meant to go in the water owned by a famous person that had a name that started with E. Should be an interesting video loading in NM heading to FL
The connectors you are holding in your hand are delphi metripack 150 sealed and they are the exact same connector that is used on GM ls engine harnesses where the main harness connects to the coil sub harness. There is only so many connector manufacturers on the market.
You need a great working truck and trailer to haul the high end boats around, more time on the road is better than in the work shop having driver sitting around
Tim, I bet you have Barretts esophagus because I have it. Also, check the narrowing of your esophagus. I have had to have my throat stretched food, which was getting stuck.
Helpful tip from someone who dealt with the same stomach issues your describing. I had taken pepcid and everything you could think of for 2 straight years. Doctors even told me to take it. Finally talked to 1 doctor who told me to never take those meds again and whenever it would flare up to drink pickle juice(kinda backwards thinking but I was willing to try anything). First week was pretty brutal but after about 1 month i felt normal again and that was over 5 years ago. Just my .02 may help you out or may not even be related just thought id share
pikkle juice and apple cider vinager both have a place in the digestive system if your gut is wreked... also need to have the healthy gut bugs goin on in there too!!! (probiotica? something like that)
Hey Tim, just shows wat HARD WORK get ya Man... well done bud,,, you get all us WORKERS to KEEP going !! thanks mate, i need it too, 3 years now nooo business in Phuket... but we finally getting customers back... and yeah bud its a real HARD STruggle to try to get back to NORM.... cheers bloke ... Cookie form AC's Phuket Fishing Park.... Thanks so much for the MOTIVATION.....
Tim it sounds like you are dealing with acid reflux with the symptoms you have described. Definitely see a GI specialist for definitive answers. I think one of the first treatments they will recommend is decreasing stress levels, amongst a few other ways of treating it. I was diagnosed with it many years ago when I was still working in the field of emergency services... I laughed at.the Dr and asked him how he would like me to accomplish that after telling him what I did for a living. He suggested retirement, ans gave me Pepcid... I didn't retire for another several years, praise the Lord. But the Pepcid was my miracle drug, and when I was forced into retirement after a very, very serious injury at work, my acid reflux was completely gone in less than two months time.
What's really satisfying is not so much you being proud of what you got done, but more to see the look in Dewey's eyes of gratification for getting his ride back that he now is going to use to make your company some money. Really happy to hear about the new shop because I know working in the elements can be challenging especially if the weather isn't nice or the ground you stand on. The fact is Tim, I'm happy to see all this hard work you've put into coming back from the ashes start to pay off for you and your guys.
Shop design list....fire extinguishing system..heated floor.. lights in floor like California has in their inspection bays... mobile column lift system...in-floor tie downs...
I know you love rooster but I think Orange sherbert will be a good replacement until rooster gets back running. I know you can't put a driver in it so you should operate it or your father should operate it. I think you said rooster needs a frame and a engine and that's a lot of work.
Hay Tim Iknow you have a lot going on I was curious what is up with the scam truck can't you get that on the road and also what are you doing with Merica and the red freightliner you hauled out
That's a nice Chevy, I wish I had a truck again. Me and my wife hasn't had a car. You're a truck for a year now due to a living paycheck to paycheck. If u do give it away, I hope it goes to a good home that needs it. U make great videos. No, I don't want anyone to feel sorry for us. I'm just saying I'm hoping it goes good home if he does decide to give it away.

Better idea, don't stab thru the insulation to test wires.

Timmy, you are a machine and an inspiration. I love your positivity. You will do great things buddy!!
Tim, you are such an inspiration. Good job!!!!!
Good luck with it mate
Get checked for Barrett's Esophagus. I had this. A simple surgery takes care of it most of the time. Constant Heartburn and Acid Reflux is a symptom.
Tim y'all are rock stars and I pray Blessings for y'all!! Be safe, take a break some and God Bless y'all!!
Trailer specialist is a great outfit too. Definitely helped me in a pinch and are competitive on tire prices. Big Trailers or sm.

Is that the same trailer you took out to NM this week with the Black Pete to pick up a load for Jimmy in FL
Hey Tim. It's called GERD. You'll be fine . You might go for a Endoscopy but ultimately it,ll be a diet change.
Things are coming back around for you sir. Glad to see it. I hope your future is a great one. Stay safe everyone.
So how’s Jimmy’s World?? Are you singing Elvis songs now, since you got to haul his Elvis auction airplane with your classic??
That driptroit sounds sooo good.. love a Detroit
Your acid problem is acid reflux. My started the same way about 30 or so years ago. Good luck young man.
Proud of y’all! Fun watching the progress and final product
