This fabric chair was well constructed but had seen better days. The fabric was sun bleached and needed an update. Lets give it a faux leather finish using paint and a one of a kind custom art print on back. This will be a bold statement piece for any room

That's a perfect puece to learn on, this one was a freebie
I would find my consistency and use a spray gun on my paper..an even coat and give it a second then brush as needed.

I've a "leather" duel recliner. Q. How would I tell if real leather or faux? Also, it's a mediumish grey, what's the best way to color match for touch ups? My recliner is showing my cats love & wear. It's about 8yo. Sofa looks new.

Would you suggest painting pleather? I have a chair with the "fake leather" seat, that has a lot of cracking in it. I was going to replace the fabric, but would love to try painting it!🤔
The cracking will show through the new paint, be sure it's not flaking or peeling, otherwise it points well

Hi. I have a leather couch that seems to be suede. Where we sit now has worn off a gloss shine that is still on the rest of the sofa. So half where we do not sit is shiny and waterprrof and seems like leather, smells like it to....but where we sit is a suede with no shone at all, and If i rub my fingers aceoss it, it shows the texture of suede. Did it originally have wax? I am trying to make where we been sittong similar to the rest of sofa. That amnie sloan wax i may buy if its what I need. Please help..
Just sounds like it has worn in spots, oils from hands etc. You can paint and wax to make it uniform
Way too difficult for me to attempt.
I have seen other videos and it is doable; however, this person is making it look too complicated.
