Concealed Carry Class teaches the Rules for Use of Deadly Force. The rules absolutely do not include following someone after a traffic accident and forcing a confrontation. She was 100% out of line, and responsible for his death.
She may have been a good person - up until the day she took the law into her own hands and caused the death of another human! It’s a tragedy for sure but she has to pay the consequences of her actions.
I got the impression she did set out that day looking for something. She was armed (I don't know if she was working that day or not) she reported what she saw to authorities then decided "oh the authorities cannot handle this without my superior abilities so I will ignore their instructions and I'll deputize myself and catch this dangerous villain. She corners him beats him through his window and then uses the excuse "he hit my car" as justification for shooting an unarmed man sitting in his vehicle. At no point throughout the incident did she seem agitated , scared, uncertain-she was playing cop and nobody was going to stop her.
So right that she must sit there and listen to the family speaking about their loved one. The heartbreak is so raw. There was a person at the end of your self-righteous anger Hannah,- a son, brother, father. So very, very sad.
This is tragic my heart hurts for this family. Kenneth Herring has a beautiful, educated, family with integrity. I pray that God’s comfort will be sufficient for the rest of their lives.
This young ladies attitude did not present as someone who was really sorry, and made a huge mistake. She was defiant until the end, and her attorney did her a disservice with his antics throughout the trial he could afford to act that way, because he goes home at the end of the day unlike her she will not see her family again for 43 years, what a price to pay for not minding your own business and what a price that poor man paid with his life because someone else wanted to control a situation that didn’t have anything to do with them. All of this could have been avoided.
I have watched this from day one, she had reported the incident and she just should have went home, but she chose to follow him, cut him off and the minute she got out of her truck WITH A Gun, she sealed her fate. My heart goes out to both families, this could have been avoided if she just left, but she choose to approach him and she chose to pull the trigger. She made a mistake by minding someone else’s business and not minding her own. This is tragic all the way around.
In the 5 years before the trial that was the time she should’ve had time to reflect , she still maintained the same attitude and lies up till and through the trial. This is still the same girl trying to spin her arrogance and lies in her testimony.
Not once did she show any remorse. Her mind set- she thinks what she did was justified- NO. She isn’t law enforcement. Fake tears. 43 years is acceptable.

@@nycmamii That still doesn't make any sense. So why would the prosecution expect the defense to take it if they have nothing to lose from turning it down and nothing to gain from accepting it? that heifer should never see the light of day again... it was senseless and uncall for. At some ppl people are gonna learn a human life is not yours to take.
All of this happened as a precursor to not following instructions from a 911 dispatcher. People seem to think of dispatchers as someone whose instructions have no credibility. I don't always agree with what a dispatcher tells me to do/not to do, and a few times we had "back & forth discussions" AFTER I followed their instructions though. If you refuse to follow instructions by a 911 dispatcher, it's going to look really bad for you (not the dispatcher) in court if something high profile happens. If you are following orders from a dispatcher, and something happens that is high profile, then you could go into court and say "yeah Your Honor, I did exactly what she told me to do, and here's the proof bruh (don't call the Judge "bruh").
The people talking on the killer's defense are trying to act/seem like she's a victim before her sentencing if I was the Herring family I would have gotten up & left the courtroom & wouldn't have came back until her sentence was being read!
From her calls to 911, her interrogation and her testimony I don’t get any of the kindness and caring her parent’s friend Ms. Votoney describes. I didn’t see one iota of sadness or compassion towards the deceased Mr. Herring. She only cried when she was found guilty and then sentenced. Hopefully the supposedly good human being that Ms. Votoney describes Hannah as being will help others while she’s in prison and hopefully her goodness will make her admit to taking a life and reach out and apologize to Mr. Herring’s loved ones. May God bless the Herring family and also the Payne for the tragedy their daughter caused.
Sorry but she should have gotten life without possibility of parole. She had no remorse and her tears are for herself not the man she killed and his family .
the family friends speech.. im confused, this woman literally murdered someone outright. why are we trying to gloss over that fact and say its not her “true self”
I look at it this way…. Maybe Hannah was a great coworker, neighbor, daughter & friend. Maybe she was a kind caring, helpful person who always tried to help people. That doesn’t change the facts of the day she murdered Mr Herring. On that day, at that time she was none of the above. At the very least she made a horrible mistake followed by a series of bad decisions. She killed someone who didn’t deserve to die & she has to pay.
I'm praying for my Kenneth Herrings family!! Hannah Payne should have stayed at the scene. Following Kenneth for what? Even if you thought he was drinking what are you going to do? Then lied on the stand, and she was very cruel to him.
It’s not a matter of “being called out” for drunk driving. If people “go nuts” about this, it is for valid reasons. DUI is a potentially deadly act, that he was committing- IF he was inebriated. I haven’t heard what his blood alcohol level showed. Hannah’s ultimate actions may not have been wise, or right, but I believe that her original intent was to get his tag number and try to help the police locate him so there would not be another accident, possibly fatal. He DID leave the scene of the accident, which was illegal and also dangerous, if he was under the influence.
@@LindapmayAnd according to eyewitnesses, Hannah was driving recklessly, weaving in and out of lanes trying to catch up with him, almost hitting a witness. So, she was violating laws herself without authorization and was already in possession of his tag number.
Yep. Because I don't think it would have happened if she didn't have that gun. The gun emboldened her. She would never have chased him or approached him without a weapon.

As I listen to her family talk abt how good of a person she supposedly was, I remember what my mama used to say: Every dog is friendly until they bite you. Every murderer was a good person until they k*d.
They were her co-workers.
Why didn’t anyone from her family speak for her?
Well they obviously didn’t know the real or the other side of this callous monster. She was in a rage about something that had nothing to do with her. Let’s not talk about her nasty condescending attitude on the stand. Oh please, miss me with the bs
She is a people pleaser but had underlying rage.

All because she couldn’t mind her own darn business…..
No one who stood for Hannah paid any respect or even a mention of the fact Mr Herring lost his life, just about says it all.
Good catch
I think the first witness did 🤔 now I have to rewatch. That second witness was a piece of work
Her tears are only for her own demise, she didn’t cry once during that trial. all she did was put blame on the man that she murdered and lied. She’ll have a long time to think about her deranged actions.
She didn't murder anyone, it wasn't premeditated. she wanted to stop him and a shot went off, it was negligence
@@Manu_Lemoine_FR ok well, killed somebody. The shots didn’t “just go off” she pulled the trigger and killed him. stop trying to make excuses for this unhinged Karen.
Self defense
@@mr.fahrenheit7009 self defense to what exactly? She was told numerous times to not follow him and she went out of her way, to not only get out of her vehicle and yell at him, but then proceed to pull a gun on him and shoot him. She did the crime and now she’s doing the time!
@@mr.fahrenheit7009 she blocked him with her car, got out of her car with a gun, went up to his car with said gun, then shot him. Where is the self defense? She literally chased the man down when the police said not to.
You wasn’t crying when you took that Man’s life! Don’t cry now!!!!
The real Hannah Payne, says the friend. The Hannah in that court room today IS the real Hannah. She showed her soul in her actions. Now she'll be in prison, to keep the public safe.
Concealed Carry Class teaches the Rules for Use of Deadly Force. The rules absolutely do not include following someone after a traffic accident and forcing a confrontation. She was 100% out of line, and responsible for his death.
Yup!
She definitely got her wake up call ☎️
You could get the license plate number and just walk away.
Lawyer is scum: "She will never step up to help again." What? Help murder someone who was in medical distress?
No remorse felt for her at all .
This is still the same girl trying to spin her arrogance and lies in her testimony.
whew justice served! - that defense attorney is a hot mess🤦🏾♀️.. he needs to give her a refund!
He knew she was guilty and wanted her in prison
The defense attorney is full of garbage! She is a bully. Full stop. She has yet to accept accountability.
Not once did she show any remorse. Her mind set- she thinks what she did was justified- NO. She isn’t law enforcement. Fake tears. 43 years is acceptable.
It's life

These conditions that are NOT ONLY applies to the killers/murderers of both Travis (36) & Gregory McMichael (66), William Bryan (52) who had committed both Felon & Malice Murders of Ahmaud Arbery (25) by also these very same conditions should also apply to Hannah Payne as well too which is,

She's a sociopath, she has no remorse. She should have minded her own business. Instead, she took a man's life. The only remorse she shows is for herself not getting away with murder.
Everyone is a friend until they come face to face with adversity . That’s when your true nature is tested and exerted . helping someone when theyre not a “threat” it is completely different “helping” someone in conflict .
How you treat a stranger vs someone you know also bears weight to one’s character
She had a blk boyfriend in high school...who CARES!!!!
I'm confused. So she turned down a plea deal that was "Life with the possibility of parole", gets convicted of malice m, but still gets "Life with the possibility of parole"? So what was the point of the plea deal if there was no consequence for turning it down?
The 8 + 5
The point of the plea is to avoid a trial.
@@nycmamii exactly
She wouldn't have done the additional 13yrs... So that was the point! Her arrogance has her doing 43yrs before going up for parole.
@@nycmamii
That still doesn't make any sense. So why would the prosecution expect the defense to take it if they have nothing to lose from turning it down and nothing to gain from accepting it? Like..."hey! You have a chance to get a not-guilty verdict in a trial, but hey! take this plea deal and just go to jail instead"? Make that make sense.
that heifer should never see the light of day again... it was senseless and uncall for. At some ppl people are gonna learn a human life is not yours to take.
Seems she did tons of charity work after the killing and before court. Trying to make herself look good before trial.
💯
Some people have class, and respect for the process of justice.
They were beyond annoying.
The prosecution team did an outstanding job!!!
I mean it was an open and close case not really much to do. Ez payday
too light for this woman's crime. but this judge is the sweetest and most gracious judge i have ever seen. and i've been watching trials for decades!!
The judge has a beautiful spirit!
She received a fair trial, she had a jury make the decision. She made herself his jury, judge and executioner. Where was his fair trial?
She deserves life without anything but life. I don’t feel sorry for her at all
Wow, the neighbor was the only one in the entire trial that was honest about what happened from Hannah's side.
When they showed the victim body after his murder not one tear but she's showing emotions now for herself. Evil..
Oh my god her SECOND COWORKER WAS HORRIBLE. I sat there and my jaw kept hitting the floor and eventually made it all the way down to the earths core 😭
It shows that they are absolutely prejudiced
Ask yourself, did she show "any" mercy for the victim. She took the law in her "OWN" hands and "NOW " she's the victim, REALLY❓️❓️❓️❓️👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀❓️👀
She's never gonna step up to HELP again? I'm good with that.
WOW, this lawyer has the audacity to keep repeating it.
Sorry but she should have gotten life without possibility of parole. She had no remorse and her tears are for herself not the man she killed and his family .
the family friends speech.. im confused, this woman literally murdered someone outright. why are we trying to gloss over that fact and say its not her “true self”
I noticed how Kenneth families statements were very genuine, Hannah's family needed written down dissertation.
Her own witnesses on her behalf only proved that she should have known better.🎉🎉 Guilty as charged
All her tears now are for her, not for the person who is dead..........
Her lawyer made it so easy for the jury & judge to make the decision they made & glad they did. She deserves everything she got.
Never even gave mr herring family a apology
We are so strong bruh
Her attorney is a joke. He would be the last person I would call for council.
The tears are for her benefit not remorse
IMO, the verdict is absolutely correct, but the defense attorney is straight out of Comedy Central 🤦♂️
He is one of the worse lawyer i have ever seen. He has added another 10 years to the sentence .
I'd be willing to bet that she wishes she would have minded her own business
I'm praying for my Kenneth Herrings family!! Hannah Payne should have stayed at the scene. Following Kenneth for what? Even if you thought he was drinking what are you going to do? Then lied on the stand, and she was very cruel to him.
🙏🙏
People go nuts about drunk driver now she knows how it feels being called out for what she done
