"Trying to find a light switch in the dark, in an unfamiliar room". This statement really struck me. It's profound & encompasses how many people feel, but can't put it into words. Thank you for that.
I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on this case. Is Skylar Richardson another Casey Anthony or a vulnerable teen that made a terrible decision? Is she a mix of both? Do you believe she intentionally killed her baby? NOTE: in the video I state that she crudely tried to cremate the baby. A forensic expert initially told investigators that baby Annabelle’s bones were charred. That same forensic expert later retracted her statements and said that the bones had, in fact, not been burned. Skylar stated in her second interrogation: “I tried to cremate the baby just a little,”. Her defense would later say that this was a part of her false confession.
I think Skylar did the best she KNEW HOW TO in that situation. I don't fau.t her one bit bc we can all remember the overwhelming fear of what our parents would do to us had we ever indeed become pregnant as a teen. Skylar had so much more In general put on her and expected to be 100% perfect. Not even 0.000001% anything like Casey Anthony.I think she held up well despite a severely dysfunctional family and extremely immature to boot.
Excellent video and analysis. I personally don't think she's anything close to being Casey Anthony, although I agree the parental dynamic is very similar. I can't believe how cold her parents were in that police interrogation room, not offering her any kind of support, just more shaming and guilt.
mentioned that the family dynamic of Casey and Skylar were similar, I hadn't considered that but I can definitely see the similarities. Both had families that swept things under the rug instead of dealing with them openly. In Skylar's case, I first wondered why or how she could have become the way she was but after hearing that interview with her parents it all made sense. They raised her to do whatever it takes to preserve this image of perfection. 🥴
What a sad story. Her parents should be ashamed of themselves for raising this poor girl without an ounce of confidence and/or self-worth.
Well done - reviewing this case. Enjoying your content. Surprised you don't have more subs. Please make more!

People pleaser and doing the right thing because her parents are evil narcissists
