Time for training arc
Indeed
been waiting for this arc all season! was so dissapointed that the endeavour traning arc was pushed forward
please let this have funny edits. also poor Toga got juggled
Everyone saying they "Didn't think Toga was that strong" don't remember how well she did as Camie.
She litterally beat deku in a battle without weapons. Deku is litterally made for this, she could have stabbed him 3 times in their fight if she would have had a weapon.
And she stabbed rock lock easy
@@Blueissuperior And aizawa
@@leeleelee7878 god how are these trained pro heroes getting bodied by a 17 year old girl with a knife
@@carolinareaper6342 tbh thats pretty unrealistic, but i still think she is very strong in hand to hand combat. But still unrealistic, like how tf did twice dodge the giant ice wall in s2 and even compress did it easily. Compress also was much faster than the ua students, outJUMPING them easily. ik mha characters are physically stronger than normal humans even without strenght quirk but they did that against other mha characters, Aizawa and Rock Lock shouldnt have been stabbed by her, she litterally is just a 17 year old girl, while aizawa litterally is trained in hand to hand combat and a grown man. Probably every single hero is physically trained. But i still count it as one of her abilities, even tho they seem off

Manga reader moment
When I saw that, I was like boi you got no idea how shit is flying late on
Glad I'm not the only one who caught that, damn Manga readers haha
@@snoopy2092 well I ain't a manga reader but I do like what's happening in the future
LMFA
the irony of tomura being annoyed by flashbacks lmao we feel u bruh
Typical gamer mood xD
Shigaraki is the voice of the fans this season lol
Nobody should be annoyed by well used, well timed and most of all needed flashbacks, its just that people have been soured on this season cause Joint Training arc was lengthened with flashbacking that didnt have much of a point ( I will fucking defend episode 17 tho, they even made new animation for every single Todoroki family flashback!!)
@@ProjectIceman Man's just trying to get his G-Fuel sponsorship. I respect it
@@izukuyeagerfreecss6121 Ehh, everyone was already aware of what happened so it wasn't really necessary. I'm just hoping they don't make another movie nobody asked for and focus on this next season, because after S3, the art has been downgraded compared to the first 3.
I will be honest I’ve been sleeping on Toga this whole time. When I thought she could only mimic people’s appearance, in my mind she was only useful to a certain degree. This changes everything. She absolutely bodied them. This episode was crazy
Same I always thought she was just hyped up to be the first to die until I caught up to the manga because in the first few times we seen her in the beginning of the show she didn't even look that strong plus her quirk wasn't all that either
Yea in the manga it looked really cool!
I mean she could be a crazy spie so she'd be a problem even without the power up
@@thatoneblackdude3333 I mean before the reveal that she can use the quirk of the individual’s blood she ingests Toga’s spy ability would be second to Hagakure. Someone could notice a person not acting like themselves but they’re not looking for someone they can’t see lol. Toga’s quirk as it was understood before this episode was still impressive, it just wasn’t the most impressive thing to me
@@timothyswindell4833 hagakure is trash with stealth season 3 showed toga could blend it really well nobody noticed cami was acting different till after the event ended
Toga using that Quirk as an attack makes me really happy that Uraraka is on the heroes side.
Yeah, it'd be like a death sentence if she used it to kill
Uraraka is not that fast tho Toga had the jets to place the ability on them
@@MiLfshAke5020 Uraraka doesn’t need “jets” her hand to hand training is more than enough to get a hand on someone
@@23anderz True but Toga has the finesse and agility which is the icing on the cake
realy brings to light the gravity of Uraraka's power.
you can be a hero with any power. he cant be a combat hero with that power but he can be a rescue one that decays rubble away. lets not forget the rescue teacher in UA has a freaking black hole quirk pretty much XD.
Very good point tbh
Thirdteen is nerf af, her power is extremerly powerful and dangerous but she was shown to be not good at combat. Like how the fuck the enemies can dodge her black hole ? It's a freaking black hole, not even light can escape it suction power. That is a " i'm Batman" level of shit
@@HoaTruong-km9rk maybe she doesn't want to murder people it's understandable
@@rrbt95 Less that she doesn't want to but with a quick that deadly hitting anyone with it isn't an option because heroes aren't allowed to kill.
@@nicodalusong149 Yeah, and that by itself makes any form of combat with her Quirk difficult. Remember the Final Exam and how quick she capped her powers away when Uraraka was heading straight for her?

Yessir I'm waiting on that shirigaki one to 😎
I NEEEEED IT . That preview animation was looooking CLEEEEEEAN
They need to go wild with Shigaraki vs Redestro
What are you worried about? This episode was excellent, clearly next one will be great as well.
Yeah, my fave villain and power up in this MVA arc
Actually Ochaco can do that too, but as a hero, she can't just float people and make them smash their head to ground head first
Well toga is a really agile person and we’ve never seen uraraka move as quickly as her
@@elias-ur7nf ik its crazy 😧
Yeah for the quirk side but I know dang well Ochaco can't move that fast it was insane 😂😭
@@fireflamegamer8321 We've never seen Ochaco move that fast because she was never put into a situation where her life was extremely cornered. Toga was on her adrenaline. True, she's agile compare to Ochaco, but not into that extent.
@@elias-ur7nf we did in episode 19 actually, lol
This just shows how deadly uraraka’s quirk can be, she can literally just send you plummeting from the sky or just leave you to keep floating until you die
I mean, she almost blasted her classmates with rubble TWICE before in competitive settings. (Class A 2v2 & Sports Festival) If not for their quirks, they could've been seriously injured. Ochaco's quirk has never been underestimated.
To be fair, Shigaraki as hero could have become a rescue hero like Thirteen....
How?

Weeellll 😁
And rushed every week
You guys aren't half of the ACTUAL story
Ima be honest this shit is way more hype than the manga was. Just the music and even the animation (while not the best) makes it better than the manga to me. Probably should still read it for missed content.
@@mr.games5883 you should, they skipped the first five chapters and cut the brutal stuff out since it airs in the day time. In the manga this arc is extremely violent
I could see Roshi questioning some of the scenes in this episode, I feel him lol
This series won’t stop at the side characters, even the villains get character development and an arc.
Fr tho, that's one of the reasons I love MHA. I really appreciated Horikoshi dedicating a whole arc for the villains. That way Thatcher can actually see them develop and understand them more, and not risking them getting random power ups during future fights. He took the time to develop them, not knowing it would become of MHA's best arcs.
Just not Spinner
I mean, did Tsuyu get development? Did any of the teachers? Any students besides Deku, Bakugou and Todoroki beyond simple things like "I am too shy to play music in front of a crowd" like Jirou?
@@MrMcDovahkiin Well let's see... some examples of characters that got character development (in both anime and manga) are Endevour, Shigaraki, Ochako (especially in manga), Kirishima, Kaminari, Momo, Tokoyami, Aizawa, Twice, AFO (more like impacted the story more in manga), Iida, Toga (subtle but still there), Shinsou, and probably a few others but I don't wanna get too into detail.
@@MrMcDovahkiin Kirishima, Iida, Ochako, Momo, Tokoyami, Kaminari. As for the teachers they didn't get that much development but they were really crucial in the upcoming arc especially Aizawa and Midnight.

@@sulisuli35 damn fr? ig mha isnt the best show or manga for my trash ass memory then
Toga's backstory was to show
how she's a victim of this superpowered
society. Quirks are an extension of one's
self basically one's quirk plays a major role
into who you are and if you are unlucky
enough to be born with a quirk like Toga's
then you're fucked without the proper
support. She was BORN addicted to blood.
Growing up she found out who she really is
wouldn't be accepted in society as her
parents told her she isn't normal so she
tried to suppress her true self and tried to fit
in with the norm. But trying to suppress only
made the urges stronger which is why in the
episode it showed the mask breaking. She
couldn't control it anymore. And seeing how
she didn't have proper guidance and she
wouldn't be accepted no matter what she
fled accepting what she truly is which she
considers to be normal.
Imo the anime didn't get this across too well and ruined a bit of incredibly important world building
Could also possibly be part of the reason for bakugo's "explosive" nature
They literally put everything that was in the manga tbh I reread each panel nothing was left out of the conversation between toga ans curious

@ARCONTE ohh ok thanks I just changed it
YO as a manga reader they ain't doing this arc justice!!!! ;( They are rushing tf out of this arc and it pains me! Anime-only's will probably really like to but just knowing that this arc could've been sooooooo much better is sad.
all they doing is stringing all the action scenes back to back but not showing any of the character development.. fucking stupid. did redestro even have his commercial and kill the mouse worker? lol
FR THIS ARC WAS ON POINT IN THE MANGA BUT THEY MADE THIS LOOK ASS 😐
@@jabbawookeez01 nope they even skipped that part as well

Real talk. This arc is the reason why I wanted to see season 5 so badly and it is literally the arc that so far has the least budget and time. They could have done without the filler episodes or so much time on the class battle or the Endeavor trying and really made the arc people really liked from the manga great, but we just get 5 rushed episodes.
I guess you could say Curious-ity killed the cat. And Toga definitely didn't bring it back.
Toga should've stolen some of her blood... Maybe she's selective with who's blood she saves
@@tramarthomas6105 Maybe? All the "I want to become the ones I love" ... she's definitely Picky with the blood she gets. Except, when she's in the heat of battle and doesn't have time to be.
But, there's also the point that she was beaten up and losing consciousness, in the middle of the enemy's city. Not much time to go back and pick blood.
Just imagine if she got a blood example from AFO..
Toga really brought her back down to earth.
roshi with the manga reader eyes when lupa said i wish can come back got me dying
I don't know what's worst Toga sucking my man's blood with straw and a smile or the amount of doujin about to be drawn with that
Doujin artists are already 5 paralel universes ahead of you. I remember Toga's Doujin where she broke Deku's hand and banged him while making sure he will "cooperate" by having knife on him ready to stab, like when season 2 ended, pretty much 3/4 of her Doujins are very sadistic stabby-stabby torture porn I'd say :p
Pretty sure Toga had stuff before Momo
Best scene is when she got whipped with the pole 😹🤝🏾
Yup. She got a hefty ass whooping in this episode 😂
6:10 I literally can’t with that pic, I spit out my food that I was eating. 😂

I'm honestly very upset that they're rushing this arc so much. Like...watching this my opinion of Toga didn't change that much, but when I read it when the chapter first came out I cried man, they explained things way more and way better in the manga and really made you understand more strongly how and why she became that way- the torment inside of her and even more...It was the first time I really really felt for her and my opinion of her has been changed since, but I feel like anime-only fans won't get to feel that. Same for the other villains too- they're not getting the backstories that they deserve and I feel like that could affect people's opinions of them.
i think that toga fell in love for stain because of the similarities of their quirk, she probably feels like he can understand her because of the blood thing
This is one of the fights that where better in the manga
(My opinion)

They sort of screwed up a panel I was really looking forward to seeing animated of when Shigaraki drags his hand through that one group of people. It looked so awesome in the manga, but they just kinda had Shiggy slap a dude in the face and everyone disintegrated. Oh well, still a solid episode.
I am so disappointed with how this arc is being handled right now. This was my favorite arc of the series. Got to have time for filler and Endeavor sitting in a chair reiterating stuff we already know I guess.
this episode was good though
the previous episode was the problematic one
Animators not having enough time or budget is the main issue
Toss in that they keep dealing with rolling lockdowns and covid shit and it's rough.

Nah bro they rushing the shit out of these episodes wtf.
The fucking bonk killed me.
I like how they handled Shiggy's level up here. He's so out of it from living on 3 hours of sleep every 2 days or whatever that even he doesn't realize what's happening, making it more obvious to the audience might be kind of weird. Like "it's so obvious, why hasn't HE realized it yet?"
Agree with Roshi the effect for Tomura's decay looks kind of underwhelming.
It’s supposed to be an instant death if they slowed it down or even showed like the details of it it wouldn’t make that ability seen like a instant death it was actually seem like you can actually get away from that ability because that’s how the ability used to be he used to take a while to disintegrate the person from the first time He touched Eraserhead in the first season but they’re saying that his ability has upgraded from that moment to the point where he can disintegrate people within a second and not only that he can do it in an instant too many people if they are touching it’s more intimidating look then if the Decay was really slow. I actually liked how they did it because that’s how I felt in the manga. Lower disintegration is for more of the main characters you don’t wanna see no side characters slowly getting the cage because nobody cares about them you would rather see that with a more important character
@@rebornjm Sure, but they could've animated Shigaraki literally running through the crowd with his arm out tearing through, meanwhile the crowd quickly gets dusted as he's going.
@@TheGloryXros Dude the point of the move is the show that if the people are connected that he can dust anybody he’s only touching one person and dusting everybody else that was near the dude

But I knew something like this would happen beforehand. Japan is really restricting when it comes to age demographics of media (same with video games).

Villain Level Ups: I must kill 110,000 people until I become OP.

I love how Roshi looks so unimpressed while the other 2 are just enjoying
btw question, why was toga crying from 1 eye? while drinking the blood?? I didn't really get that
The manga explains everything perfectly. Some much context is being left out this season and it is driving me crazy
They anime skipped that part but if I’m not remembering incorrectly it’s bcuz she had a crush on the guy that she attacked and whilst sucking his blood she felt guilt and cried bcuz she just couldn’t be normal
@Crazy Rabbit could be. I haven’t read that chapter in months
They really smashing everything in one episode I wish they spent more time on MVA than the class A vs class B
For sure, as an anime only I find the idea of a villain centric arc where they have to fight tooth and nail against a secret group to preserve their dominance super interesting. Yet it seems to be getting crammed and they spent double the time on ANOTHER training arc earlier in the season.
Fantastic Toga episode, they did our girl so much justice in this amazing episode!!!! The eerie dark flashback and sad scary music was amazing and done very well. I loved it, My Hero had an amazing chapter and episode both this week. One of the best chapters I've ever read in the My Hero manga came out this weekend in chapter 324, probably my favorite ever chapter and moment in the series history. This weeks episode and chapter also matched so well with the characters and content. Fantastic MVA episode and Chapter 324 of My Hero Academia was one of the best chapters ever made and of all time.
"How can you be a hero with that power?"
Disintegrate debris, and other things preventing rescue teams from getting to people.
Disintegrate locked doors, during situations when the cops/heroes need to get in
Disintegrate specific areas, stopping a fire from spreading any further, allowing fire teams to manage it more easily
With an open mind, and the want to do so, you can easily find ways to use things to help or harm, even if it looks like it can only go one way on a surface level.

The animation this season truly has leveled down thus far - I would imagine they're keeping it for some next events I'm not gonna spoil
but as Roshi said ( which I agree with ), the way they *DIDNT* animate Shigaraki's power up was just sad -- a still frame for a decay transfer, really BONES ?
I mean they have to animate a useless filler, and stretching Todoroki family feud cuz who want a villain epic story amirite?/s

When I saw her transform into Ochako in the manga I instantly knew, I said "Oh no, she's going to use her quirk, a VILLAIN WITH THAT POWER OH NO" and it was as incredible and terrible as I imagine
In MHA's manga chapter 227, you can see that Shigaraki's hand is literally dragging across the head of the man he touched while he disintegrates a crowd of people. I was hoping the anime would take creative liberty to show that but instead, they resort to still frames like they have been doing with every instance of Tomura's quirk this season. I assume it's due to time constraints, but still a bummer.
True but you people to take in fact that the studio that animates mha has a "certain policy" that the manga does not so they stick to the "frames" as you had said but it would have been better if they had did that now we know that his fight is about to be dog ass

It was established much earlier in the series I even I forgot about it, but they explained that some quirks have the ability to evolve when put under incredible stress.
Toga's quirk is that she can transform into anybody she drinks the blood of, that's it. Essentially the quirk doesn't change it still works exactly as before but it evolves and expands the range of what the ability can do.
Toga originally could only copy appearances but she's now developed the ability to take the quirks of those she drinks the blood of, the catch is because of her mind set, she has to have a great understanding of the person she is becoming and a great love for them

4:54 no Sheera, no
The blood itself exploded
The report: “Killer Queen”💥
4:22 that is legit a chicken. What kind of 😂😂😂
so a couple things I'm pretty sure what toga did is unique to her in a way, since she's actually more agile/quick then uraraka.
Since she's naturally used to sneaking/stealth.
and the animation was a bit odd for shigaraki but I think that moment was meant to be the first time he used it that way,
while the earlier scene, I think was just a time saving trick instead of having them animate him doing multiple swipes.
roshi this ep was very packed in terms of schedule
Couldn't wait to see y'all react to this!🔥🔥🔥
