She is the most pleasant brand ambassador I've seen! Clear, concise, and a pleasure to watch! I might have to add these machines to my extensive hobbies!

Taping off the rest and using spray paint like “flex seal” is quite long lasting. And IKEA has great prices on rugs like these.
Flex seal might eat through the iron on. I'm wondering since acrylic paint is water based, and if it's an out door mat, it probably needs a top coat?
Thank you for this video. It felt so realistic. I always think my projects are going wrong when the iron doesn’t quite stick right at first. Love the tip to use iron on as a stencil as well. ❤️
She had me at “Hello”.😄
Excellent tutorial!! I would have never thought to use iron on. Great tip!! Thank you!!!
💖👏💖👏💖👏💖👏💖👏
Great video, it helps a lot to see someone doing it in mostly real time. Love how y’all keep the errors abs corrections in for us. Thank you
AWESOME! THANK YOU!!
I love this! I need to do this!!!!!!!
You guys are fabulous and I just got the Cricut maker 3 yesterday and I can’t wait to use it.
YOU are fantastic and we can't wait to see all the fantastic things you'll make!
Looks good
that's a great idea! I just got a new doormat myself, and it's perfectly blank! It's also not as big as in the video, so I might even be able to use my Joy to make a stencil for an idea
I LOVE this video!!!!
We LOVE that you tuned in, Nicholas! Thanks for watching!
I would of subbed in regular vinyl on this & black flex seal paint so it’s weatherproof and doesn’t crack in the elements.
This is so cool!
Thanks so much!
Is this cricut model the one that doesn’t require a mat?
What a great project! Can you do this even without the Cricut press? I have a Maker and everyday iron on, but not the press. I do have an iron if that would work?
You should be able to! It might take a bit of pressure for an every day iron to get it to stick to a coil doormat, but heatwise you should be able to get it!

Hi, love this. How do I make this with the Cricut Maker 2?
You can make the design a little smaller and cut out your design on a mat!
Personally regular vinyl is way harder to use . There’s cheap iron on vinyl at craft stores ( at least mine) and amazon lol
Love it thank you what. Size are your letters please
Thanks so much! You will want to make sure the project fits on the size of your doormat. You can adjust and see how it will look on the project here: design.cricut.com/landing/project-detail/6168679b65c75300019a5d00
AWESOME Video !!! Where did you get the larger roll of paper ???
Hi Rhonda! The iron-on? We sell bulk rolls at shop.cricut.com!
Looks great! I have questions- 1) Is something applied over the paint to prevent it from fading or coming off when people wipe their feet off? 2) can infusible ink be used on a project like this?
Great questions! You totally could do a clear sealant. FlexSeal is pretty strong and we don't think it NEEDS it. Infusible ink needs to be applied to a majorly polyester blank for it to apply well. It wont show up probably at all on a doormat!
The letters large can I make that on my circuit joy
wouldn't it be easier to use cardstock and use that as a stencil?
Using cardstock might give you some paint or lines that seep through since it doesn't have a TIGHT adhesive barrier with the mat. You might not get as crips of lines/edges.
I think regular adhesive vinyl works fine. I wouldn’t waste my HTV on this project.
What material is the door mat?
Do I need the smart iron on for all my iron on projects? I just got the cricut maker for Christmas and I’m just overwhelmed with all the things I can make with it.
Hi Koua!! Welcome to the Cricut family! Smart iron-on is great to quickly cut images without a mat on Maker 3 and Explore 3 models. You can use normal iron-on on a mat as well!
How does the acrylic paint hold up in extreme weather? We have 110+ heat
Pretty great! You can also use a good outdoor acrylic paint/spray for even better use. There are also sealants you can apply too if you are worried!
Use black flex seal paint. It leaves a rubberized texture that withstands all of the elements!
@@CorinneMauricio Hi! Just checking this video out! Do you mean use the flex seal in place of the acrylic paint or over it?
@@nfournier1 yes, it comes in a little jar. It comes in black and white. They also have a clear spray you could use to seal it if you needed other colors.
@@CorinneMauricio I've never used flex seal, is it thicker than acrylic? If reminds me of tar🤣 Our does it just appear to dry that way? I'll definitely give flex seal a try instead of acrylic paint. 😁
Just curious about why she didn’t need a mat for cutting the HTV. Is it the model of Cricut that she is using? Or is it the material doesn’t need a mat?
Both! The Cricut Maker 3 and Explore 3 can cut Smart materials without a mat!
Some of this "smart" material does not require a mat. It would say Smart HTV right on the package.
@@Cricut I have the Cricut Explore Air. Would I be able to use Smart material on it, or would I have to use a mat?
What temperature was the press set to?
We had it on 260!
How can I get in touch with a supervisor. I am now on hold for the 5th time. At this point I just want to return my machine fo a full refund and cancel the order that is pending. I have never been so displeased with a company's customer service.
Hi Sylvia! I am so sorry for the issues you have been having. We have been chatting with you via Facebook and will make sure we get this resolved.
Why, what happen?, I'm thinking of getting a machine for my wife, is the machine not good ?
What is the size of the image?

@@Cricut thank you!
We can do that with cricut maker!!!!
very nice info but i wish u kill the annoying background music who needs that???
Thanks for the feedback! We will share with our team.
iron on is expensive. what a waste!
I thought so too at first but then I remembered how in every video they struggle to get the regular vinyl to stick snd pull off the transfer tape.
It exist special material to do stencil
I guess it depends on how you look at it! If you use vinyl as your stencil, you have to have vinyl and transfer tape and the results don't always turn out super crisp. That's also a lot of material wasted. Balancing time spent plus material cost is always hard! For sure do what works best for you.
Your ads on youtube are unbearable
Why does she keep saying "cricket"? Isn't it "cricut"?
She's right, Cricut is pronounced "Cricket". 😊
Cricut like the bug. :)
