I love Creative Fabrica. What a fabulous way to use their stained glass papers with the Cricut! Sooooo easy. Thank you for the tutorial.
Love, love, love this tutorial. Your instructions are perfect and I am hooked! I've made several already and plan to make several more since I have a creative fabrica subscription to get lots of images.
Thank you for a very clear video on how to make these lovely cards.
love the completeness of the description and images
You're a very good instructor. Thank you
Those are beautiful cards. Very good tutorial. Thank you.
Thanks for the fantastic tutorial! It was so easy to make one of these cards after watching your video.
Thank yoou for the fantastic tutorial. I can't wait to try thid tomorrow.
Great tutorial, love the cards. I learnt so much
Gorgeous! Thanks for the tutorial!!
Great tutorial & beautiful cards!
I just finished crafting with you and I am so proud of myself for completing this card! ! Thank you so much for your excellent tutorial on making the stained glass cards! I so appreciate you taking the time to go through every single step. It was so helpful! I am so grateful!!
Perfect tutorial Thank you so much. I made a stained glass sunflower!
Such a beautiful card and wonderful tutorial! I will be making this card today to send to my sister for her birthday next week. This is just so perfect. I can see making quite a few of these in beautiful Stainglass images. I have been a subscriber of Creative Fabrica for this past year… And I love it also. The only thing I’m going to do a little differently is saving one of the borders that were cut off from the printed square… And I will be putting that on the inside as a border for a little bit of trim and added interest. Thank you so much for this video.
Beautiful cards! Thanks much!
Thank you for the tutorial! Going to attempt these very soon!
Fantastic tutorial. Thank you so much ❤
Thank you so much! Beautiful cards!
Love..love..love this!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a beautiful project! I use Creative Fabrica all the time, they have sooooo many amazing SVG files I’ve had to buy an External Hard Drive, which I’m so glad I have because my PC 🖥️ has packed up completely! I have a Cricut Explore Air 2 which I’m still learning about, it can be a bit intimidating but I’m determined to make it work with me instead of against me! 🤣🤣
THANK YOU for taking the time to make such an amazing, easy to follow video 💕💕
I followed these directions step by step and wow.....I did it!!! I didn't have black cardstock so I used yellow and have had a TON of people love it and asked how I made it.....I copied this video link for them. Thank you for making it possible to succeed in crafting this card. 💜
Thank you for your video, I finally understand how to put the card together.
I absolutely love this tutorial! It took me a bit, but I finally got it. I bought the Staples’ brochure/flyer glossy paper. It worked really well with the exception of black coming off on my fingers! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for introducing me to these beautiful cards!
Awesome video , thank you so much.
Thank you so much wonderful video.
Thank you for a great video. I watched and was able to make some great cards thank you
Loved your video. Thank you.
Awesome tutorial!
Greatvideo, thank you. I'm definitely going to try this. Just a top to prevent the image curling take the mat from the image bending it back, so put the mat and image face down. Pull the mat off from the corner.
thank you for sharing. Saved me alot of time figuring it out myself! 😂
Brilliant! Thank you.
You did a absolutely wonderful video. You explained it really well so that could understand it. Well done. This video earned you a new subscriber \. Thanks again I have creative fabrica and haven’t used it yet. But I will now since you explained it in such detail. Have a wonderful day.
Than you to share your creativity…. I will try it….
This is one of the best descriptions on how to use the Cricut I've ever seen. I tried usimg my maker once or twice and got so frustrated. Its been in the box for the last 3 years! I get overwhelmed everytime I even think about using it. After watching this video, i might just go get it set up and follow your tutorial! Thanks for being a great teacher?
Thanks so much!! Yes, it's a bit overwhelming at first, but once you get used to it, it's so fun!!
You got this. To do a print and cut , the first time you have to calibrate your machine to your printer. It is easy to do . Just search in UA-cam how to calibrate the cricut. There are videos to help walk you through the process. Don’t be scared you can do it.
Great Video!
Thank you excellent video.
Thank you so much, I've made my first card. I'm making more!
Thank you
🥰 Thank you for sharing…
Wow! Did you make that easy or what😊. I did have to calibrate my Maker for print and cut, but once that was set I was off. Thank you so much!!!
You are an excellent teacher, should have found your blog sooner😊. Do you have a video on how to crop the images that are not square?
Awesome video thank you . I love CreativeFabrica. You can’t beat the price. Sone of the fonts I have seen in design bundles, I have gotten here free with my subscription l .
Thank you so much for a beautifully detailed tutorial! Do you use the glossy or matte brochure paper? And do you prefer that over photo paper?
Beautiful. Your instructions/tutorial is awesome. Question - do you offset eat layer of the image so it matches when all layered. I did one of the Blue Jay but it just looked like I out one on top of each other til it got smaller
Excellent tutorial. Only suggestion I have for those who show how to Upload images to Design Space, is that they should emphasize that on the page where you choose between Cut or Print then Cut to save the image, that they tell users to Be Sure to Name the image to something they will remember and associate with the image. And then to add as many keyword "tags" in the tag section. It looked like in your own example of the image you uploaded from Creative Fabrica that the image was named only a number. And you didn't change it, or add any tags. I personally would have named it > Sunflower Stained Glass / CF image. And then added tags, such as sunflower, stained glass, creative fabrica and ptc etc.
It makes it so much easier finding images later on when using any tag or name and the filter of Uploaded . I have also gotten into the habit now that in the computer version of Design Space I can add text and set it to be a Guide > so if I did a card using this technique, and used your video to show me the steps, I would add the UA-cam link and tutorial name and set it as a Guide on the project page. Guides do not show up when clicking on Make It, they are simply additional information for the project.
Awesome tips! Yes, I'm the worse about not changing names of anything!
Just wondering instead of printing the full image could the slice pieces be used for the bottom 2 and just print the top layer?
Awesome tutorial!!! I did my own while watching. I may have the incorrect paper as it was rubbing off on my fingers as i was putting it together.
L just making one of them. I even bought creative fabric is thru you. Sad that I could not find either the sunflower or the butterfly design but made a nativity one. Thank you
Thank you! Love these cards. Would glossy picture paper work or does it have to be a brochure paper?
What a great video! I can't wait to try. What printer do you use? I am looking to buy a new printer soon.
Loved it made a card. Wishing there was a way to print a border with the upload and cut out that middle step
Those are really beautiful! I would like to make them to put in a frame to show off. Can I get the same effect if I print the images on white cardstock?
Excellent tutorial! Wondering how to make an envelope for these?
I have downloaded 2 stained glass images from Creative Fabrica and when I try to upload them I get through the first two parts, but when I get to the third step the upload print and cut image I get a RED banner saying that I cannot upload it due to my internet connection. I have uploaded some of their other files with no problem. Any ideas???? Loved your video and appreciate your doing it. Please help!
Lovely creation, thanks for sharing! I've noticed that you have the same printer as I have ( ET-2850 right?) .. how on earth did you get it to print brighter?
What a pretty card. Gotta get ink so I can try this.
Great tutorial. What dimensions would you use to save ink for the square card?
Love it but quick and easy lol!! Not for me, haven't got my head around using my cricut yet.
Amy I made these and they were beautiful! Question I just made the prints the required 4.75, 3.75 and 2.75 but did not slice the image out is there a benefit of slicing? Thaks for this awesome video!
i noticed photo paper is being used in the tutorial, is there a different paper we could use?
This is a great tutorial, thank you. I don’t have a Cricut but I can see adapting your process to the machine I do have. One question: for layers 2 and 3, since they have a matte around them, could you cut the sunflower pieces from the centre of the 5.75 piece so you’d be using less ink because it’s only printing the picture once? TFS
Thanks for the awesome video - I'm sending everyone who asks "how do I make those?" to see it!!!
What paper did you use to print and cut the images?
Your no nonsense presentation is perfect. Tired of others and worthless intros and words!
Do you have a demo of how to make a coordinating envelope?
Can I ask what printer you use. It printed these images beautifully.
How do I upload this file on an iPad? I see it in my Files but I can’t find it to upload to Design Space?
What is that glue thing you used called?
Can you use photo paper instead of brochure paper, is it about the same? and is glossy better to use rather than matte?
What paper do you use for 3d stained glass cards.
can get them at design bundles to
Does it matter what type of printer you use?
my printer has sublamation ink do i need to use another printer?
Is there a tutorial for scan n cut please 😀🏴
May I ask how you make the envelopes to mail them with and what paper as to not make too heavy to mail? Made my first card and LOVE IT but now the envelope so I can mail it:-)
I have a cricut maker, I got rid of my silhouette Cameo for the cricut. I have yet to turn it on. I am scared because everything is different than using the cameo. My cameo was first gen, so it did not do print and cut. I had to watch you do this so maybe I can learn to do orint and cut!
Would you be able to just use one of the images and slice out of it, instead of printing three different images that get partly covered?
Just a comment about your measurements. If you have a 5 inch square and the picture is 4.75 inch, the black showing is not 1/4 inch, but 1/8 all around. You have to divide the 1/4 inch by 2. Otherwise the instructions are very clear.
Beautiful! What size do you do for an envelope?
So far, I have just used envelopes I have on hand, but you could definitely make one!
what are measurements for 5x7 cards
Loved your video, I have a subscription to Creative Fabrica, I was was able to download the butterfly file you had a link to, i tried several others on the website but they will not upload into DS, I downloaded backgrounds and they would not upload. Are these different from the files you use? Thank you
I use an HP laptop running Windows 11, downloaded the file to my computer then opened in the "Paint" App and reduced the file size first, then I was able to upload it to Design Space without any issues.
i use my cameo all the time not game for my maker yet. why a pgn file to make these?
downloaded the images, but wont go on to cricut mat, keeps saying check internet, im definitely connected
I just attempted this - I purchased about 20 of the stained glass png files and it seems like only a few will let me upload into DS - it gives me the error that my internet isn't working which isn't the case - anything over 14MB I get that error - any suggestions?
That's frustrating!! Can you reduce the image size in an online converter?
Fantastic tutorial, lovely card! Thanks for sharing your expertise!
