The fact that we get free documentaries on UA-cam by National Geographic is truly a gift ... Keeping the education and knowledge alive. 👍👍👍

Every society had such seperationist attitude, things have evolved over the generations, it’s me we all celebrate equality & harmony.

There is an anecdote of Sammy Davis Jr asking for the entrance for black people in London. He was told there was not such thing but one entrance. I think he was giving a show in London back then.

Without Black history, we can't talk about American history. Well said.

What about the indigenous people history as well as the history of all other groups of people who live there? It would be different for a US citizen to realise how fragmented is your society. A textbook call "The American Way" described your society as a melting pot but in reality is a collection of different societal ecosystems.

It appears there are various closed projects mapping Green Book locations. Wondering if there's any activity using crowdsourced OpenHistoricalMap

If you are going to review marta, please do not stand out/dress flashy or you'll be mugged. Two of my coworkers got shot and killed on that train a month ago by a group of black men just for some lousy coins. Life is cruel so be careful out there

How sad is that your society was so fragmented that there had to be a travel book for a specific group of people. You can argue the situation had improved just a little bit if you take into consideration the current state of your society.
