Difficult choice, Porsche Macan is probably the better drivers car, but it looks slightly dated and screams "I couldn't afford the Cayenne". The Polestar is a more modern take, but how long will the company survive given the fall in sales and layoffs? As for the rear view camera, not a fan because like video side mirrors you get a fixed viewpoint and moving your head to see different angles doesn't work. Unless they are really widescreen and then that is disorientating.
No rear window, quite audacious on a saloon, but then quite a few vans have no rear window. It is striking though, and Polestar has a different approach throughout. It reminds me of brands such as Citroën ans Saab who, in their golden age, dis what nobody else did. So, good for Polestar. For the rest, time will tell.
🤔 You might choose to Google Polestar 4’s Rear View Mirror. If the numbers don’t mean anything, they’re talking in British Pounds, not US dollars. Also? If the English language challenges you in any way, it’s really easy to read the Transcript while watching the video.
Chinese EVs like Polestar are also called "breadcrumb cars". You can see where they are, following the trail of all the parts they lost from the moment they left the showroom...
I've read that Volvo value Polestar at NOTHING in any currency. They, like most EV's are suffering from lack of sales because of high prices and bad press regarding fires.
Polestar 4 or Porsche Macan Electric?
Which would you choose?
Polestar 4…I’m not a fan of EVs but I do like the styling of this

Polestar 4
Polestar hands down. The Macan EV is still an ICE platform and doesn’t have any of the packaging benefits of EV
Macan. Polestar might not be around in a few years, Porsche on the other hand is financially stable company.
With no wiper is the camera self cleaning????

No rear window in the UK ? 😂 This is just another fat EV that no one wants.

Not Volvo, a Swedish bank said Polestar was worth nothing to Volvo currently because of their large debt to Volvo.
