Here is the guitar lesson for the arrangement I did of Mozart’s famous Rondo alla Turca. This is one of his most famous pieces and it always pops up in movies, commercials, etc. The piece is the third movement of his Piano Sonata No. 11.
It uses a rondo form which is a form with a second that repeats a lot. A common rondo form would be: ABACBA.
I hope you enjoy this teaching video. You can see more like this at my guitar school found on my website.

Never in a million years would I have thought I would be able to play this on the guitar, but I managed it. It still needs a bit of work beginning in measure 34, but I'm getting it. Wonderful tutorial. Thanks.
Oh wonderful!
I know how you feel, ya sometimes just gotta do it and you’d be surprised what you can do
This is the best classical tutor I ever had.thank you
I am glad you enjoyed it!

What a performance. If it is paired with the piano playing only the harmony, it will sound amazing. Thank you for uploading
Thank you!
I am very grateful that you did ths.
Your playing was wonderfu!
Thank you for your time and effort!
I am not a real musician. But I have this as a personal challenge. I was able to "learn" the melody by ear, but I didn't knew how to organize the bass notes. Thank you for uploading because this will be my main tool to nail it. God bless you. 🙏🏼
That is wonderful to hear!
I can’t describe my thought process, but I NEEDED this tab in front of me, and to my surprise, just TWENTY bucks to full access to your website. Thank you, sir, for all you do. Making my transition from rock/metal to classical so enjoyable. Cheers, Mr. Lunn!
Oh that is wonderful to hear! Best of luck to you!
Thank you Sir Robert Lunn, now I have the chance to play the piece that I've considered impossible for me to learn. More power to you Sir!
Good luck!
Great turorial! Those small tips, like ”use the ring finger as a guide to the 5:th fret”, are really helpful. Thanks for all the work you put into this.
I am glad you found the video helpful!

@@RobertLunn yeah. I have a Good friend of mine who is really Good at piano. He practiced this on piano for like 3 months, and eventually performed it. So that kinda motivated Me to try it out on guitar, and I am getting better and better pretty fast..
I am Also trying to learn Moonlight Sonata
I love to play classical pieces!!!
@@lucassteen4050 Oh very nice! Moonlight is a great piece too. Good luck with the guitar and let me know if you have any questions!

As a turk I am very glad that Mozart wrote a song called Turkish March.
Great piece!
very giood
Thank you 😊
❤. Anh thật tuyệt vời
I appreciate that!
Thumbs up ! :D
Great song!
Such energy. Such so much more upbeat. Mozart? Rondo alla Turco? Thought I recognized it, but first time for guitar.
Dave Brubeck has a piece with a similar title. Maybe?
Guten morgen

Thank you! It is by Mozart. Very difficult to play although I tried making this arrangement as easy as possible.
I am 15 year old i have 26 days left for my guitar competition and I don’t if i should play this or the malagueñe version you play
And yes i only have 25 days to learn idk if that even possible
Good luck! I would say the malagueña might be a little easier
how'd that go?
He died during the solo
in bar 117 et seq would it not be easier to play the A on the B string 10th fret instead and then use pinky for the top E on the 1st string?
You certainly can do that!
👍👍👍👍
🙏🙏🙏
I have question is this the same version that vera danilina played?
I don’t know the answer to that question. This is an arrangement I made a while ago
Still need to work on more not clean and some part tempo is off!
hey! can you give me anytips because when i play the pull off my pinky starts to hurt, do you know any exercises to help with that?
This is a great piece to practice the pulloffs. I would take a pulloff pattern (the first measure) and practice it slowly and on different strings
It is interesting to see how different your interpretation is compared to Sky Guitar’s...
Oh for sure! Anytime you get transcriptions you will get a lot of different interpretations
Que cuerdas usas ?
Thank you! I use D'addario J31
Terrible technique. Most of your notes are unclear/incorrectly fretted and therefore do not reach their correct note values.
Secondly you're playing at a pace that is way too fast for you, that is apparent in the tempo changes throughout, further diminishing the piece.
I would consider further working on your technique before teaching this piece to anybody.
Afterall, if you can't play it yourself how can you teach others to?
Thank you for the feedback!
Dirty timbre, incoherent performance, can these be taught to others?
Yes, you can pick something up from anything unless you only see things in black/white
Absurd comment, Rob I'd been trying for years working on the kanengiser arrangements, with your great teaching and arrangement got it. Thanks too you
@@tasosdiaforetico7377 Glad to hear that!
