@beemrdon52 segovia never played this mozart piece and baroque and classical styles were not his strength. romantic and more spanish stuff was his strength.
She is an extraordinary player 👏 What impressed me most about this performance is that it didn't sound like a "piece arranged for guitar". There were no pauses for awkward hand position changes, no rubato to cover for tough spots. This sounded like she took the harpsichord music and played it on the guitar. Most impressive. Also I loved her variations in tone as one might hear on a two-manual keyboard. Excellent work! I will be buying her records.
@MusicbyWinston I appreciate that you mentioned rubato to cover for the tough parts. So many classical musicians do that these days and it grates my nerves. Rubato has a purpose and a place, just not at the beginning and end of every single phrase.
I watched many of her videos. She's like one of the only classical guitarists that plays with body, and emotional dramatics on a technically demanding style of guitar playing.
We have all famous guitarists worldwide, from classical to jazz to rock etc, this talented lady has blown them all out of the sky, the playing, sound and intonation is unbelievable, I loved it
I've listened to, played, recorded and produced so much music in my life that I seldom make it all the way thru a piece anymore. But this lady? You've got to be kidding me. Just a joy to watch! Hard to believe how effortless she makes it look. And that little bit of sass is just the icing on the cake! So good!! I've heard this piece played on everything from an orchestra to bamboo marimbas but this is hands down the best version I've ever heard. ❤❤
I’ve watched this over twenty times now, and I’m struggling a bit to articulate just how utterly fantastic this performance is. To watch someone play with such passion and precision while making it look effortless is a wonder to behold. Vera is clearly having a lot of fun playing this piece. The cheeky smiles and head bopping add an extra dimension to the playing that makes me laugh every time. Thank you for this gift. You are an extraordinary artist.
Now it is quite clear that Mozart wrote Rondo precisely for the guitar and precisely for Vera, since apparently no one else can play it on the guitar) You're a sorceress, Vera, keep it up!
Brava!!! Wonderful and so feminine. It’s hard to explain why I say this. It’s the emotion and softness in her playing. She’s very expressive even in her body language. Thank you much. So enjoyed this. The last part was totally amazing!!! 🌹

Vera has that abundant over-and-beyond skills at her very young age. Her interpretation of Mozart's Alla Turca was flawless and most enjoyable. Thank you Vera!
Bravo Vera, I am a classically trained pianist and medical doctor. I never thought that ig can be played so perfectly on such tempo. Congratulations again. You are a real artist. I am sure that we will hear of you more in the future. Best luck for your musical and UA-cam career.
I never know where to start when listing all the factors that make Ms Danilina such a superlative player. Her technique and facility are jaw-dropping, her tone displays a wonderful mixture of power and delicacy, her colour changes are subtle and intelligent, her concept of each piece she performs is imaginative and original, her presentation of the music is dramatic, soulful, witty, human....etc. Even in a light-hearted piece such as this one can witness all these factors at work. If there is a better player in the world at this moment I have yet to hear them.
Her version it's way better in the scale's section 1:55 . Kanengiser's version did a bass line accompaniment, her version sound like a march rithmym chords that original score has.
From someone who been playing for a good 30 years. This was an amazing performance. Just beautiful. Being a guitar player I pickup if something is off in all music I hear. And it drives me crazy. Yes she is fantastic, there is also another Russian girl that plays that piece in excellent style, on a 10 strings guitar, a decacorde, her name is Marina Krupkina. Both girls are the best playing this piece. It seems Russian girls have special talent for this.
