Those breakfast BAPS??? Look RIDICULOUS 😜😋😍is that actually what you're saying? ❤️❤️you guys keep up the amazing adventures!! Sure glad I found you through Endless Adventure 👍🏽 so happy to see you exploring your homeland I'll be taking notes for my next big trip to trace my roots back to Cornwall (Dad)&Derbyshire(mom)🤓
Thanks tiffany, they are ridiculous haha, we only realised on this trip that they are quite unique to us and so widely eaten. :D We are glad you found as as well 😜 Awesome, where are you from yourself? I am guessing the States?
Yes 👍🏽you guessed it 😊 I’m from Washington State USA 🇺🇸 on the west coast, my little town of Snohomish Wa is just about half an hour north of Seattle and just shy of 2hours south of the Canadian border❤️I can be on the ocean 🌊 in minutes or on top of a a mountain 🏔 range in less then a hour ☺️
OMG !!! That breakfast bap is to die for !! Drool, Drool !! My wife & I were in the UK for all of August 2019 & loved it but we will be back & Bristol is def on the list !!!!
Baps look awesome, and dirty is the perfect way do describe that :) British bacon is similar to Canadian bacon, with out the cornmeal crust, we call it Peameal! And now i was greasy food sooo badly! Fun to see you guys exploring around England. Keep them coming!
We do sandwiches almost like that all over the States, they are breakfast sandwiches so you would add an egg and probably do without ketchup and the sausage may be a breakfast type sausage but yeah, that is on a lot of menus in America.
haha I know what you mean 😂having been away so much it is very weird but fun to take notice of our culture and get to celebrate what we love about the UK.
Greetings from Detroit! LOVE your message of “Earn Less, Live More” and the £500 challenge! Enjoy watching you guys travelling while we cannot - Right now we are bringing an abandoned hospital back to life to host travellers from around the world. We'll be back on the road soon though. If you happen to travel through, give us a shout out! :)
Sod the bap, has to be a nice crusty roll or a demi baguette for me, with smoked streaky bacon, a nice peppery sausage, egg, black pudding, beans and mushrooms, oh and fried potatoes if they have them ( the're not chips but fried boiled spuds )
This is blowing my mind that people put black pudding in their baps. Madness. Also, streaky bacon? What are you thinking!! Only joking, sound delicious
@@TravelBeans Yes streaky, more flavour and you can get it nice and crispy unlike back which just gets hard. Oh I forgot the healthy bit, fried tomatoes. That's why it has to be in a Demi baguette, to fit it all in, next meal, dinner. Luncheon is liquid.
I'M German, my husband always expects a full German breakfast which is like the English breakfast minus the veggies..yes lots of work..if love to get him to try a full meat breakfast sandwich, they look amazing....
Travel Beans It’s worth stopping there and walking around for a few hours. The bap I got from the butchers was life changing. And definitely stop at the Greenhouse coffee shop.
Love your travel vlogs. We are a family from Australia doing a cruise from Hamburg with a stop in Southampton. We are going to hire a car and trying to decide where to visit. Brighton, Bath, Bristol. What do you recommended? Thanks for your advice
Yeah it would be a great way to travel the UK. Parking depends on the Hostel, they have had parking about 70% of the time. However if they are in the city centre they don't usually have it. There are usually some pretty cheap options for parking in the city though.
Thank you, and if I don’t want to do hostel thing I can drop in on me cousin’s in Cornwall and London and Blackpool, Ulster and oh ya the Cotswolds. I m trying to figure out how to rent a narrow boat and come over for at least 6 months and live on the boat or apply for British passport, I’m eligible for duel citizenship and stay for awhile longer
Haha I know, this was only going to be one video but when I edited it, the cider video deserved to be its own video. It will be out tomorrow and worth the wait I am sure :)
The two of you are so comical in your travels....I gotta say again maybe Alex can do a commercial for eyewear...His blue eyed definately stand out....love your accent.
I never heard "bap" or "barm" before and yes I have been to the U. K. and even have British colleagues. Does anybody know if I can get good English baps in Hamburg??
Hurrah for Henfield! Sadly, Woodwards, the butchers and sausage shop, has now closed but it's still a great little place..... …………………………..the old man by the sea.
@@TravelBeans i mean traditional English breakfast without beans isn"t traditional , and it has nothing to do with your name, the "hamburger " what you showed is more German or Turkish then English. what do you mean with my average bear?
We are English and are just saying in the video that this meal is more traditional in the sense that it is eaten way more regularly. Most English people don't eat full English breakfasts very often and I wouldn't say it is more German or Turkish at all but we can agree to disagree :) It is hard to explain but it is just an expression (I think from a famous TV show Yogi bear).
Let me tell you as an 85 year old who knows what he is talking about. The true English breakfast is eggs, bacon, proper black pudding with the sausage skin still on, tomatoes, fried mushrooms freshly gathered from the field and fried bread. No beans, no hash browns, no sausages and no baps. Sliced bread and butter mainly for wiping the plate clean when you've eaten everything on it. All washed down with a mug of tea.
No egg running down your hand. Sacrilege! Shame we have to wait till tomorrow for our tipsy beans. Btw, Aussie bacon is shit so if you ever make it over here you may be disappointed. Btw, are you coming?
I am passionately against the egg, Emma is with you though. Hopefully it will be worth the wait. Yeah I remember it being bad when I was there about 5 years ago. Yes I am sure we will be there this year. We need to come that way to go to every continent and my sister is staying over there. We will definitely come and see you both :D
Imagine if you used this energy towards something that actually mattered 😂. But no, you are right. These damn insignificant amuteur UA-camrs said something wrong! Off with their heads!
One minute your calling it a Bap then a bun, both name's are obviously wrong as it's Barm. The big bread roll, bap, barm, muffin, flower cake debate our great country for ever more. Also that breakfast barm could be improved with the addition of black putting and a runny fried egg
come off it with your northern rubbish ( I think in Sheffield it is called a cob) but you are not getting away with a barm down here. Also your 2 choices for extras are a huge no go in my books. Emma thinks I am weird but I hate eggs in barms ;)
@@TravelBeans they do call it a cob however when they stick chips in it they all of a sudden start calling it a chip butty. They are a strange breed in Sheffield. Black pudding is officially classed as a super food now due to the iron content so instantly makes your Barm healthy

Went to a country fair where there was a food van that all they did was variations of black pudding barms it was a thing of dreams. You obviously havnt been doing black pudding right if you don't like it yet
To be fair, I haven't tried it for at least 10 years. I definitely have it in my head that I don't like it but it has been too long since I since tried it. A thing for another video.
Cool hostel guys!!!👍 Fry ups are the best😋 Cider!!! Bring it on🍺

I’m thinking of a motorcycle trip to GB , would the hostel be an okay way to go,and is there parking at the hostel chain that you are using ?
Yeah it would be a great way to travel the UK. Parking depends on the Hostel, they have had parking about 70% of the time. However if they are in the city centre they don't usually have it. There are usually some pretty cheap options for parking in the city though.

Black pudding really missing there Bro'.
We can never be friends...
actually, genuinely I have never even seen that as an option to add in it. Where does this travesty occur?

Yes, I definitely will :) Bomba first ;)
