    Maybe it is because I am such a beginner, but it would be nice if I could tell which side is the right or wrong easily. Thank you for the tutorial though

      Hi there! For the most part fabrics will have an obvious different between the front and back, however, for fabrics where they are so similar we always say it doesn't matter which side you choose, so long as you remain consistent and use the same side throughout the garment

    Perhaps a mention on pattern matching would be appropriate. Not a ‘how to do it’s, just a reminder. A mis-matched pattern would not look good.
