Edit: Just wanted to apologize for the spoiler thumbnail. I made one with the eye and one without (to swap out a bit down the line), uploaded the wrong one and didn't notice until far too late. I should have been across it but I wasn't, again, I'm really sorry. Hey. Any Easter Eggs to add? I mean it's unlikely because I'm so good at watching a movie. *Skurge held the shake weight + other mistakes I made
Thor waiting for his hammer in the beginning is also like that scene in Iron Man 3 when an imprisoned Tony is waiting for his suit to show up and take out the guards. At least that's where my mind immediately went...
The Luke Hemesworth, Matt Damon, Sam Neil cameo was just hilarious. The way they were re-enacting Loki's death scene from Thor: The Dark World was great.
Corg wasn't the one holding the shake weight , it was the Executioner who had it. When he was showing off for the the ladies when thor came back after killing surtur .
The first post credit scene is probably the beginning of the Infinity War. We all know that Loki definetely stole the Tesserakt and Thanos really needs it for his glove thingy. So yeaaah, can I have a lootcrate pls?
Kind of, yes, they already confirmed that Thor conects directly to Infinity War so I guess Avengers 3 it's about Asgardians on the earth, Thanos recovering the stones, he'll attack Xandar so Guardians go after him, he attacks Earth, he defeats them, someone dies(Loki for sure, maybe Heimdall, maybe some Avenger, etc),he has the gauntlet, end And part 4 is all about them getting togheter and defeating Thanos.
Makes sense because the Guardians meet Thor by hitting him with their Spaceship while he was floating aimlessly through space so maybe all of Asgard’s people die anyway
I personally can only see Loki (& Nebula) 'making the sacrifice play' like Stark did in the first AVENGERS or being Darth Vader style turn coats but that could just be me!
Saw the movie yesterday. First thing I thought was...well they just saved the people os Asgard so they could get killed or enslaved by Thanos. Takes a lot away from the ending.
Thor sitting on the throne saying to Hela "That would be the worst" Is a callback to Star Trek 2009 when Chris Hemworth, playing George Kirk said naming his son Tiberius would be the worst. Sitting in the captains chair in both movies.
Also one good thing to add to your breakdown is that the reason as to why Thor's ship is being stopped by Thanos is because Loki is still holding onto the tesseract that he grabbed when Asgard was being destroyed.
mattmobile I laughed a lot that movie especially at... kork (sp) but both me and my brother lost our shit for probably most of that scene onwards like 45 seconds minimum of pure hysterical laughter. So fucking funny.
Yeah it was definitely rushed in the first act. They presumably had to reset because they just didn't want to continue any of the stuff that The Dark World had set up. So they had to reveal Loki, get Odin back, (spoiler) him, and introduce the villain all as quickly as possible so that they could just carry on with the rest of the movie.
It was your perspective cause u enjoyed it, because it may seem thing you enjoy go by faster than things you do not enjoy hope this helps and your not confused anymore
Major one missed Brunhilde the original Valkyrie makes a appearance in Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie flashback as the one who saves her, a producer confirmed he was told to pick a actress to play that part that resembled the comic book character.
Im pretty sure the alien creature that Valkyrie drunkenly falls on top of when she’s first introduced is the tauntaun from Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back. It even has the same cut in its stomach from when Han cut it open to keep Luke and himself warm on Hoth. I really hope that is the case. The horn placement and skin color of the creature resemble a tauntaun much more than it does the Asgardian beast mentioned in this video.
I had the feeling in the scrapyard had to be easter eggs...but could not discover any. (damn 3D glasses hurt when looking at the film edges). But for some reason there was a giant green hamster wheel always (3 times) in focus...must mean something...
It may be symbolic of one, but it's definitely not a tauntaun. It's got multiple eyes on the one side of its head we see, plus it's got like 4 horns. I also don't see a slash anywhere, but there's a lot of fur, so it's hard to tell.
I saw this just today. Its really solid. The humor DID undercut a bit of the story beats sometimes, but that's all but expected in Marvel now. I still really liked it.
It really isn't though. Guardians 2 managed to have funny and heart-wrenchingly emotional scenes, and in Avengers 1, the humour was on point AND served the story. I think it undercut the emotional parts too much in this film, personally
When Bruce Banner is wearing Tony's clothes he has on a Patrick Nagle t-shirt. Nagle is an illustrator known for his neon '80s style and has done some comic character illustrations
Valkyrie from the comics makes a cameo in tne flashback scene when Loki makes Valkyrie remember the battle against Hela. She is the one that saves her from death and is the reason that she is alive.
Bruce Banner says he's always angry once again, the Valkyrie who takes a sword for Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie is most definitely Brünhillde, Doctor Strange uses his sling ring once again and also has a much bigger mastery of magic now, Loki screams "That's how it feels" when Thor gets puny god slammed after the lullaby attempt in the arena, Thor's helmet in the arena looks similar to his normal one from Thor: The first Thor, and Odin ends up in Norway because of its' connection with Norse mythology and likely is now in Valhalla, meaning it might not be the last time we see him.
Taika reporetdly said he wants to do another Thor movies, and I think both Kevin Feige and Chris Hemsworth would be happy to do it, seeing how well Ragnarok is goin'.
momyour170 Ahan yes. I've heard him say that before as well. I was wondering why would he make that mistake again? No not really new. Been subbed since the Batman V Superman days. Can you explain the joke?
Badar Ismail the joke is just that: a joke. He calls Thor 2 "Thor: the Dark Thor" and he calls Captain America 1 "Captain America: the first Captain America"
I wonder how many of Mr. Sunday Movies' jokes have gone right over your head (and your reflexes weren't fast enough to catch them)... lol don't worry about it, I used to be the same way, I took jokes way too literally lol. Mr. Sunday uses a lot of sarcasm and dry humour in his speech, its what I love about his reviews :D
An another Easter egg/reference is that, when Thor and Loki go to Earth (midguard) Thor comments on Loki’s attire which is an all black suit. He comments on saying “Your lookin like a witch.” That is a reference to Matthew McConaughey’s Walter Padick in the movie “The Dark Tower”, which is the witch wearing an all black suit. Funny, no-one else noticed.
Let's not forget the strangest and most oddly specific reference of all. Taika Waititi's character attacking Loki's hologram and shouting "Go away ghost!" is a reference to the New Zealand Ghost Chip ad - ua-cam.com/video/CtWirGxV7Q8/v-deo.html He really liked adding references that nobody outside of NZ or Australia would notice.
He hasn't confirmed it, but he was making anti drink/drug driving ads at the same time Ghost Chips came out (ua-cam.com/video/P8KAaf45g5U/v-deo.html) and the main guy from the ad (Darcy Ray Flavell-Hudson) played a role in Waititi's previous film, Boy. Waititi has referenced it before, so it seems like a pretty bog coincidence if he accidentally included the same line in this movie.
Is it funny or sad, to me Hella (Kate Blanchett), was the best part of the movie, I would love to see more of her story line and really a hole movie #evilGaladriel
Thor does Raidens attack from MK during the fight against Hella near the end, also Executioner jumping off the ship seems like a nod to Evil Dead or the Duke Nukem cover art.
My favorite callback was at the end when Thor sat in is Asgard throne on the giant ship, they played the main Thor theme from the first movie. I love that soundtrack so much it brought me to tears
in the real norse mythology, Hel and Fenrisúlfur (also that worm Jörmungandr aka Miðgarðsormur on icelandic) are siblings and they both are Lokis childrens, just a fun fact for those who didnt know
The fiery hell-world that Thor finds Surtur in is likely Muspellheim, in keeping with the comic books and actual Norse Mythology where Surt, son of fire lays waste to Asgard in Ragnarok
Missed a cameo. Cohen Holloway appeared as one of the lead scrappers when thor first crash lands. He's a long time collaborator who is in most of Waititi's films, his biggest role being Moson in Eagle vs Shark
The crowd chanting "thunder" during Thor and Hulk's fight is a nod to the song Thunderstruck by ACDC. Also, Korg yelling "get out of hear space ghost" could be a reference to an NZ anti drink driving ad
i was under the impression it ended with thor flying through space and landing on the guardians ship leading into the infinity war trailer..was kind of dissappointed to just see grandmaster again. I guess thor in space will be set up some other way. I did not expect it end so happily. Still a good movie though.
There will be A Thor 4, but not for a few years. After Infinity War, most of the actors who kicked off the MCU are putting down their roles for awhile. Otherwise, it's more realistic when you kill off key characters. Kind of like the Walking Dead.
Was honestly hoping the death of the Warriors 3 would have more impact, unfortunately their deaths were pretty much just there to show Hela as more of a threat.
ZombiHater92 I mean, they're not really characters and don't see more than a few minutes with them in them in the previous films. Minus well kill them.
For the first time since Mark Ruffalo took the Banner/Hulk role, Ruffalo performed the Hulk voice. Previously in the MCU movies Hulk was voiced by Lou Ferrigno, who played the Incredible Hulk on the CBS TV series in the late '70s, early '80s.
Did anybody think of the DOOM boxart cover when Karl Urban's character jumped off the ship and all the zombie Asguardians surrounded him? I think with the Doctor Strange Sherlock Holmes reference this might have been intentional
TheConfusedPug Just like its interesting... Iron Man: Great! Iron Man 2: Worst! Iron Man 3: Are...was this a joke? Not as bad as 2 but...come on... Captain America, the First Captain America: 3rd CA, the Winter Exboyfriend: 1st CA, the Time Everybody Faught Once in an Airport: 2nd So, IM finished his trilogy first and his best movie was the first. Ca finished second, and his best was the second. Now Point Break is third to finish and his third is the best in trilogy.
Best Easter Egg of the MCU: When they crew start flying the Commodore spaceship, named after the Aussie car, they are told it has no weapons because it was a luxury vehicle The Grand Master used to have orgies in. The other nickname for the Commodore is 'Shagging Wagon', becuase the car had plenty of boot space for... activities - The Grand Master literally, exclusively, used his Commodore as a 'Shagging Wagon'. Consider that Loot Crate earned.
As they explain in the movie, time on Saakar is way longuer than on Asgard. So during the couple of days Thor was on the other planet, there is maybe a month or more that passed on Asgard. During that time, we have not seen it, but Hela probably killed many people.
Since Asgardians live for thousands of years, maybe they don't have the same procreation desire Humans have ? Or maybe there are lots of them, but it's so dangerous where they live, that the population is always being cut down ?
When banner says, "It's like I was trapped in the trunk and the hulks was driving" that is a direct reference to "Totally Awesome Hulk" that vision is how Amedaues Cho pictures his relationship with the hulk.
Or stumbles with the ship while on his way to Asgard to retrieve the Infinity Stone(s). Loki uses the stones as leverage to spare the Asgardian people. Thor rejects, fights Thanos, then is ejected in space, where he is rescued from the Guardians of the Galaxy for Infinity War. Just a possible assumption.
I think it goes like this: Thanos attacks the Collector and steals the Reality Stone, this causes the Guardians to take notice and chase after him. Thanos then detects that the Space Stone has been taken of Asgard and chases down Thor. They scuffle and Asgard loses and Thanos take the Space Stone, Thor is then chucked out into space where he hits the Guardians wind shield. Thor then explains the situation they become friends and they go to Earth to warn the rest of the Avengers.
Day 258. Running low on food rations. Still no signs of life. The only thing that can save me now is a subscription box filled with various geek memorabilia. Send help.
sure, just put it in the reply box ... which has a notification subscription ... see, it's a subscription box! here's your T-SHIRT and your NOVELTY MUG and your -TINY SAMPLE BOX OF SUPERHERO EDITION CEREAL- SHITTY EDITION FUNKO MINI and your TINY PIN and your OBNOXIOUS OVEN MITT .. only 1 .. see, it's all here.. in the box
When Thor sees Loki at the Grand Masters palace (?) Loki says he has been there for 3 weeks. This time delay may be due to traveling close to the speed of light in the bifrost rainbow bridge. A theory of traveling at speeds closer to the speed of light results in the traveler experiencing time slower than all others. So if Thor was in the bifrost longer than Loki, seconds to Thor may have been compared to weeks in Loki's time.
Is the building where Odin was in NY that was destroyed could it have been the one that gets destroyed in the Defenders? Or maybe next to it so the debris destroyed it. Also the building behind them in that scene looked like the Rand building.
Well, in Defenders, they make sure destroying the building does kill people or makes more damages. There was no victims according the autorities (in the show). If the explosion would have destroyed the nursing home, i think many old people would have died.
I can't actually watch the video because I don't want to spoil it for myself, so I just want to say keep up the work and the quality of your video (I'm assuming it's good based on previous videos and this video should be just as good. I wouldn't know, once again because of the whole, me not watching the video but keep doing your thing! I'm guessing, I don't know. I think I've written myself into a bit of a circle. Help.).
I really liked final scene where Thor is finally the king, they used the original Thor score, specifically the song used in the scene where Thor is supposedly going to become king, bringing his journey to full circle, I got chills when I heard that song
Everytime Korg spoke, it put a huge smile on my face
Aiden -Shuriken- Heckman "hey man" always made me laugh
The moment he opened his mouth and that voice came out I had to choke back laughter just to hear the rest of what he had to say.
The end when he was holding Meik was my favorite part
TeaCup Pig I accidentally stepped on miek in battle 😂😂
He stole the show in my opinion opinion
Edit: Just wanted to apologize for the spoiler thumbnail. I made one with the eye and one without (to swap out a bit down the line), uploaded the wrong one and didn't notice until far too late. I should have been across it but I wasn't, again, I'm really sorry.
Hey. Any Easter Eggs to add? I mean it's unlikely because I'm so good at watching a movie.
*Skurge held the shake weight + other mistakes I made
Mr Sunday Movies it was such a great movie
Very Nice
I finally saw Spider-Man homecoming yesterday and I’m seeing this tomorrow. I also really want a loot crate
Korg wasn't holding the shake weight, Skurge was btw
Starpotatoes Odin dies, The Executioner dies, Hulk beats Thor in the Fight Scene, Thor loses an eye, Satar kills Hela.
Raghu Seetharaman Lootcrate is my blood, I need it to live, but I can't afford it. So please James, save my life, give me a lootcrate.
*Liam Hemsworth
@Dayvo It wasn't Liam, it was his other brother
Xavier Holy shit I never knew there was a Luke lol, only thought there were Liam and Chris... thanks lol
Yeah lol, i think he plays in Westworld, if i remember well
Corg wasn't the one holding the shake weight , it was the Executioner who had it. When he was showing off for the the ladies when thor came back after killing surtur .
And the way he pronounced Texas too. That was a gem.
Chibihalo2 ooooooohhhhh Texas! ;P
i got it from a place in midguard called TexASSS lol and Anthony Schepers your exactly right it was skurge who had the shake weight
I call them Dez and Troy..
The first post credit scene is probably the beginning of the Infinity War. We all know that Loki definetely stole the Tesserakt and Thanos really needs it for his glove thingy. So yeaaah, can I have a lootcrate pls?
Kind of, yes, they already confirmed that Thor conects directly to Infinity War so I guess Avengers 3 it's about Asgardians on the earth, Thanos recovering the stones, he'll attack Xandar so Guardians go after him, he attacks Earth, he defeats them, someone dies(Loki for sure, maybe Heimdall, maybe some Avenger, etc),he has the gauntlet, end

Темирлан Тастанов glove thingy no disrespect but learn your comic knowledge
Saw the movie yesterday. First thing I thought was...well they just saved the people os Asgard so they could get killed or enslaved by Thanos. Takes a lot away from the ending.
thor :like father said, "a wise king never seeks out war"
hela : "but he must always be ready for it"
refers to odin's dialogue in Thor 1
Dr.Strange finally gets his comic yellow gloves
Max Leduchowski that was discussed in Doctor Strange easter eggs video.
Their called the gloves of the faltine. They are one of dr stranges magical artifacts
Max Leduchowski they kinda looked weird... But they did kinda grow on me after seeing them for a while
he just got done with the dishes when Thor rang the doorbell.
Max Leduchowski 0
Thor sitting on the throne saying to Hela "That would be the worst" Is a callback to Star Trek 2009 when Chris Hemworth, playing George Kirk said naming his son Tiberius would be the worst. Sitting in the captains chair in both movies.
Thor said "You are just the worst", directed at Hela when she was attempting to persuade him to join her.
You’re talking about Chris Pine right?
Thor: Suns gettin real low
Banner: Stop saying that!!!!
I got annoyed that Thor kept calling him Banner. I was just waiting for him to turn around and say 'You know my first name is Bruce, don't you?"
he calls loads of people by their last name
Well Thor always called the other Avengers by their last names, so it would be weird if he suddenly stopped.
Ian M Right, right, don't mention puny Banner
Thor was one of the best marvel movies. I loved the scene where Loki was terrified of Hulk and looked like he was going through some PTSD
Doctor Strange's outfit was more similar to those of the comic books
The original Thor theme from 2011 was heard at the end of the movie
also there is the theme of thor: the dark world.
Carcosa I know but he already said that
How do you people remember what any of the theme songs sound like in these movies?
MicoDossun The Thor movies have really underrated scores. Ragnarok probably has the best score in the whole MCU
TastyDash they really do the first Thor soundtrack got nominated for an Oscar
"I've been falling for 30 minutes!"
Alex Guns that was too funny
God this was a good movie
Also one good thing to add to your breakdown is that the reason as to why Thor's ship is being stopped by Thanos is because Loki is still holding onto the tesseract that he grabbed when Asgard was being destroyed.
James Millington damn you Loki! lol always is he screwing up.
I miss Odin :(
Well its better it being defended than floating around in space
Loki totally pocketed the Tesseract.
Jezz Wuzz well, he would have had to because it has the Space gem, and if he had left it on Asgard it would have been destroyed
He has it in the Infinity War trailer
probably why Thanos came after them in the post-credits scene
it wouldn't have been destroyed just floating threw space (ironically) forever
How did loki make it out of the vault in time before surtur was resurrected. The last ones to leave were hulk, valkerie, and thor
Honestly it would have been fun if the Guardians made a cameo sitting in the stands while Thor and Hulk were fighting.
I could imagine Rocket and Groot doing that on a holiday away from the Guardians xD
When Thor told the snake story, best part in the movie
mattmobile I laughed a lot that movie especially at... kork (sp) but both me and my brother lost our shit for probably most of that scene onwards like 45 seconds minimum of pure hysterical laughter. So fucking funny.
Agreed
I️ had tears at the part
Does anyone else think the first 30 minutes went by quick?
Yeah it was definitely rushed in the first act. They presumably had to reset because they just didn't want to continue any of the stuff that The Dark World had set up. Childish Kambino it was 30 minutes

Yeah its sorta like
Skull guy
dr strange
Lose hammer
_then the rest of the movie_
pretzel door no shit
Major one missed Brunhilde the original Valkyrie makes a appearance in Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie flashback as the one who saves her, a producer confirmed he was told to pick a actress to play that part that resembled the comic book character.
John Contralis Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that
I knew it!!
So Hela's powers were basically making swords/cool hats and not dying
Also being fast and knowing space Kung fu.
On Crip, Hela was not a disappointment. Bitch, she literally defeated the whole Asgardian Army by herself. Like HELL NAH, I'll kneel.
And reviving an entire army of the dead...
yeah
Exactly like, Oh my god.
I'm just glad Heimdall isn't dead
Existence is Pain oh his death is coming.
No one dies in Marvel movies.
Existence is Pain I wish he was so Idris can be released of Marvels grip.
Nytellem he'd be an awesome John Stewart
He'll be dead by Infinity War. Trust me.
Im pretty sure the alien creature that Valkyrie drunkenly falls on top of when she’s first introduced is the tauntaun from Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back. I thought the same thing.
It may be symbolic of one, but it's definitely not a tauntaun. It's got multiple eyes on the one side of its head we see, plus it's got like 4 horns. I also don't see a slash anywhere, but there's a lot of fur, so it's hard to tell.
Wasn't it Skurge who had the shake weight? Not Korg?
Kenneth Kwiatkowski yes
Who are you and why do you have a picture of me as your icon?
I saw this just today. Its really solid. The humor DID undercut a bit of the story beats sometimes, but that's all but expected in Marvel now. I still really liked it.
It really isn't though. Guardians 2 managed to have funny and heart-wrenchingly emotional scenes, and in Avengers 1, the humour was on point AND served the story. I think it undercut the emotional parts too much in this film, personally

Valkyrie from the comics makes a cameo in tne flashback scene when Loki makes Valkyrie remember the battle against Hela. She is the one that saves her from death and is the reason that she is alive.
Fabricio Vilas Boas Thought I was the only one that caught that.
I watched the movie twice and I really payed attention the second time to be sure. Yeah, she is there with comic book accurate costume and all.
Knew it
in hulks apartment, hulk says "im always angry" which is a nod to Avengers where Banner says "thats my secret Cap, im always angry"
Hela:"Kneel."
Loki:"Beg your pardon??"
I laughed so hard XD
So like are there tiny immovable pieces of Thor's hammer just sitting on a cliff somewhere?
The Bellcaptain *lifts finger and goes to speak, hesitates, drops finger and closes mouth, frowning*
The Vision's not doing much. He could clean that up.
They can probably be moved because they aren't Mjolnir anymore.
Whiteytheripper HULK said he was always angry.
Your right banner hitting the ground in ragnorok wasn’t funny, it was hilarious
I got a good laugh when he just faceplanted on the bridge, and even Fenris stopped to sniff at him like "dude, wtf?" :)
*You're
I think he was referring to the Incredible Hulk being not funny
Yeah it was hilarious...i actually thought i was watching dumb and dumber in space...pfff
I knew it was coming, and when that happened I laughed like I never laughed before.
Anyone notice Loki in the background saying, “And then, I just let go.” And then everyone laughs...?
THOR: RAGNABEST THOR was awesome!! Can't wait for THOR 4: THE EVEN BETTER THOR
Taika reporetdly said he wants to do another Thor movies, and I think both Kevin Feige and Chris Hemsworth would be happy to do it, seeing how well Ragnarok is goin'.
Don't you mean Thour?
Or 4hor
Why put a spoiler in the thumbnail
Because he's autistic.
Because more clicks = more money. Shitty move.
Official kyd these thumbnails/titles w/ spoilers are just idiotic. Worth unsub and unlike
Official kyd .. That's actually a great point! Although I guess it's pretty much a rhetorical question... CLICKBATE!!!
Official kyd it was also in the trailer.
I cant be the only one who heard him say "Thor: The Dark Thor"
Badar Ismail That's his joke name for that movie. Are you new to this channel?
momyour170 Ahan yes.
Oh Rengy LoL. Thanks ✌
I wonder how many of Mr. Sunday Movies' jokes have gone right over your head (and your reflexes weren't fast enough to catch them)... lol don't worry about it, I used to be the same way, I took jokes way too literally lol. Thor Snapcracklepop

Ayyyyyyyyy Palpatine vs Mace Windu text to speech!
Matt previously played Loki in Dogma
I only just realized that. Well spotted!
That's RIGHT :O
With the way Hela & later Loki eyed the Tesseract in the film, I expected one of them to #GrabDatGem !
Virt McGirt I think loki does take it, in the infinity war trailer he seen kneeling and handing it to thanos
Loki most certainly grabbed dat gem
Virt McGirt ahhh I just posted that. Good eye sir haha
He probably trade it with Thanos for Protect to Asgardians or earning Trust of Thanos.Idk He is pretty unpredictable.:D
Loki used the Tesseract to get back on the ship. How else could he do that?
Grandmaster was also djing at one scene, which I think might be a nod to Grandmaster Flash, the godfather of hip hop.
Let's not forget the strangest and most oddly specific reference of all. Taika Waititi's character attacking Loki's hologram and shouting "Go away ghost!" is a reference to the New Zealand Ghost Chip ad - ua-cam.com/video/CtWirGxV7Q8/v-deo.html

Stubbenz is that confirmed?

Waititi has referenced it before, so it seems like a pretty bog coincidence if he accidentally included the same line in this movie.
He says piss off ghost
I like how it connected Thor’s universe with all the Cosmic stuff. It was all kind of confusing until now
In the end Asgardians are just another troop of aliens, exept Odin's family that is super powerful.
Is it funny or sad, to me Hella (Kate Blanchett), was the best part of the movie, I would love to see more of her story line and really a hole movie #evilGaladriel
Shes probably not dead
The only way she could survive a stab from Surtur's sword is if they had made her Lady Death... which they did not
She did state that she is death, though. To be seen whether this was a subtle nudge to Mistress Death or not.
I'm no comic book buff, but I think Thanos is supposed to be in love with death. Maybe he'll bring her back with the gauntlet or something.
she only threw swords. she was pretty boring
Korg stole almost ever scene he was a part of.
Can't forget about my boi Miek
"Meik's dead"
Marvel gets Fantastic Four back so that Korg and The Thing can be buddies
"PISS OFF GHOST"
Have you even seen the movie? Miek isn't dead. He's still alive
7:57 he says collectors tower! Not grandmasters
11:05 he says korg instead of skurge
GET IT TOGETHER MR.SUNDAYMOVIES
Ps. Can I have a loot crate
Also, he says Jack Kirby did the comic art for Doctor Strange, it was actually Steve Ditko.
He also says "Mike" instead of Miek.
At 2:23 he says "Tesserac". There's a T at the end goddammit!
But he can't help it, he's Australian.
The opening fight with Surtur genuinely brought back a moment of childlike joy
Thor does Raidens attack from MK during the fight against Hella near the end, also Executioner jumping off the ship seems like a nod to Evil Dead or the Duke Nukem cover art.
Lui5ito3 I yelled the Raiden thing to my sister in the theater
I was starting to think that I was the only one to notice Raidens torpedo move....
Lui5ito3 i
All I could think when watching this movie was, Zeppelin rules!!!
I was aroused by both of the scenes with that song
My favorite callback was at the end when Thor sat in is Asgard throne on the giant ship, they played the main Thor theme from the first movie. I love that soundtrack so much it brought me to tears
in the real norse mythology, Hel and Fenrisúlfur (also that worm Jörmungandr aka Miðgarðsormur on icelandic) are siblings and they both are Lokis childrens, just a fun fact for those who didnt know
Erling Aldan its the same in comics
Extra: Sleipnir, the eight-legged horse Odin rides in the first movie, was also Loki's child
It wasn't Kooooooorg holding that shakeweight, it was Scoooooooourge. (Said in James' trademarked whiny voice)
The fiery hell-world that Thor finds Surtur in is likely Muspellheim, in keeping with the comic books and actual Norse Mythology where Surt, son of fire lays waste to Asgard in Ragnarok
Best thor movie
i loved ragnarok so much! So refreshing a bit of humor, Taika did a great job in my opinion 😅
Also i love Lootcrate 😂
Anyone else want to see that Thor Valkyrie relationship?
That Guy Over There no. I'm tired of people hooking up. It's sad to watch lol
Missed a cameo. Cohen Holloway appeared as one of the lead scrappers when thor first crash lands. He's a long time collaborator who is in most of Waititi's films, his biggest role being Moson in Eagle vs Shark
I am Sparkles, Lord of Thunderrrr ⚡⚡⚡
Am I the only one who wants a movie about the origin of the Marvel universe and multiverse including the Gods, Celestials, Elders, etc.?
Hulk getting revenge is a nod to world war Hulk
Who else saw the Triforce during the Hulk’s Room scene?
The crowd chanting "thunder" during Thor and Hulk's fight is a nod to the song Thunderstruck by ACDC.
Also, Korg yelling "get out of hear space ghost" could be a reference to an NZ anti drink driving ad
just watched the movie and everyone in the theater stayed for the post credit scenes and it was awesome
Paradox Panties no one stays for them in my cinema only me a maybe 2 others
i was under the impression it ended with thor flying through space and landing on the guardians ship leading into the infinity war trailer..was kind of dissappointed to just see grandmaster again. I guess thor in space will be set up some other way. I did not expect it end so happily. Still a good movie though.
guitarman0365 did you you see the other post credit scene tho
Paradox Panties yes just a shadow and implied thanos ship but nothing else happened.
guitarman0365 I'm guessing thanos is going to wreck those people
I am mildly upset the warriors 3 are now dead. But eh at least Sif is fine. Hopefully. Blah
People want people dead and when they kill characters they are upset 😂
Loki propably got Sif Banned some times after she helped the SHIELD find the Kree on earth
TheDonBarracuda Wasn't that his address in the comics?
No, it wasn't a doom reference. They were recreating a moment from the comics where Skurge shoots down similar creatures in a very similar way.
First movie: okay I guess
Dark world: not great
Ragnarok: better than both
TheConfusedPug *WAY better than both
TheConfusedPug better than avengers 1 and 2 btw #Revengers :p
TheConfusedPug Just like its interesting...
Iron Man: Great!
Iron Man 2: Worst!
Iron Man 3: Are...was this a joke? Not as bad as 2 but...come on...
Captain America, the First Captain America: 3rd
CA, the Winter Exboyfriend: 1st
CA, the Time Everybody Faught Once in an Airport: 2nd
So, IM finished his trilogy first and his best movie was the first. Ca finished second, and his best was the second. Now Point Break is third to finish and his third is the best in trilogy.
Well, i really enjoyed the 2nd Thor movie.... more than the first one, but well, maybe it's a big part because of the great soundtrack
Keep up the good work James!
Piss off ghost!
Andrew Thomas It's 4 days on and in still chuckling to myself about that one.
He's freakin' gone
Loved this movie! Looking forward to how they pull the infinity war bits into it.
My only question is, has Asgard’s population always been only a couple hundred people?
As they explain in the movie, time on Saakar is way longuer than on Asgard. So during the couple of days Thor was on the other planet, there is maybe a month or more that passed on Asgard. During that time, we have not seen it, but Hela probably killed many people.
Since Asgardians live for thousands of years, maybe they don't have the same procreation desire Humans have ? Or maybe there are lots of them, but it's so dangerous where they live, that the population is always being cut down ?
She also kind of killed a shit ton of soldiers when she first arrived. Probably why a lot of the remaining men and women looked weak.
Scourge's guns are references to famous Dallas Cowboys players, troy aikman and dez Bryant
Oh rip I just typed this! I can’t believe he didn’t notice
I noticed that too
How did he miss this one
that's very specific to Americans, for the rest of us it would just be "Des+troy=destroy"
Maybe cuz he lives in Australia
Volstagg, Fandral, and Hogun, thank you very much.
That was a bloody good movie
That mid credit scene tho
When banner says, "It's like I was trapped in the trunk and the hulks was driving" that is a direct reference to "Totally Awesome Hulk" that vision is how Amedaues Cho pictures his relationship with the hulk.
When I saw the ship in the post credit scene I was really hoping it was Beta Ray Bill's ship full of his weird horse people race.
I thought it was the Chitari (from Avengers 1) getting revenge.
I thought it was more Dark elves'. It kind of looked like Malekith's ship.
I thought it was Howard the Duck trying to force them out of his post credits scene
Callum Childs that guy looks way too fucking weird, even his name blows dick, he does not need to be in these movies.
It's confirmed that it is Thanos' ship, the Sanctuary II
I guess Thanos is there to get the infinity stone from Loki
centpushups I think you mean Heimdall
Or both lol
He's after the teseract that Loki stole and Heimdall, he is the soul stone.. it's quite obvious.
Dylan Rebollosa Not a bad one, I see that happening.
I don't know what I would have done without this information
So does Loki have the taserack & use it to make peace with Thanos as they kick Thor off the ship?
cardellous snell probably.
If you watch the leak infinity war trailer you'll get your answer ;)
I think it goes like this:
Thanos attacks the Collector and steals the Reality Stone, this causes the Guardians to take notice and chase after him.

Am I the only person who loved 'The Dark World'?
i like the dark world.
Fraser J Walker i loved it. It was way too dorky for its own good but god it was great
Fraser J Walker no, it was a good movie, and the music in that film was on a different level, definitely outdid all the scores that came before it.
I liked it a lot. Much better than Thor 1
I did too
Thor was Liam Hemsworth the whole time
The Matt Damon bit really shocked me, was not expecting it
Fandral died really quick. Like he had no lines
Elias Santiago yeah that was straight up Transformers The Movie from 86 with character getting straight up murdered in seconds
Odin's gauntlet is a fake
ALEJO RECKS Ik, it would’ve be so sick tho if Thanos had two infinity gauntlets like in the comics
Yea but there was some real stuff in there. So maybe she was mistakenly.
Shay Jay nah it was just a statue
HE’S A PHONY
Nice catch on the statue faces, I didn't even pay attention to that when I saw the movie. One of many reasons I need to go see that one again.
The bjulgsnipe (no idea on spelling) was also referenced in Avengers
When Thor sees Loki at the Grand Masters palace (?) Loki says he has been there for 3 weeks. This time delay may be due to traveling close to the speed of light in the bifrost rainbow bridge. A theory of traveling at speeds closer to the speed of light results in the traveler experiencing time slower than all others. So if Thor was in the bifrost longer than Loki, seconds to Thor may have been compared to weeks in Loki's time.
Love your videos, man. Your sense of humor regularly, genuinely makes me chuckle out loud. cheers from New York State. Love me some LootCr8
I quite enjoyed Thor Ragnarok thought the comedy was a bit much in some areas of the film. But all around good movie 🎥
Yeah they had to set up and squeeze every joke in there possible. Its hard to say anything else about it than "it was really funny"
Skurge shakes the shake weight
This is one of the best movies this year
Is the building where Odin was in NY that was destroyed could it have been the one that gets destroyed in the Defenders? Or maybe next to it so the debris destroyed it. Also the building behind them in that scene looked like the Rand building.
Gabriel C. Guess we gotta wait till the movie is out on DVD so we can fully examine the scene 😕
No, the building in the movie was a nursing/care house for old people. In defenders, the building is for enterprises offices
Xavier Savage yeah, thats why I said if the debris from that building destroyed the nursing home, but I'm just getting my hopes up lol
Well, in Defenders, they make sure destroying the building does kill people or makes more damages. There was no victims according the autorities (in the show). If the explosion would have destroyed the nursing home, i think many old people would have died.
Xavier Savage oh well, I just want them to make a definitive connection between the Netflix shows and the movies. I guess that might never happen..
Help.).
Excuse The Accent Odin dies, The Executioner dies, Hulk beats Thor in the Fight Scene, Thor loses an eye, Satar kills Hela.
Dynamic Fusion thanks man you saved me both time and money!
Excuse The Accent gotch u
Dynamic Fusion wow
Dynamic dear I hope you get kicked
I really liked final scene where Thor is finally the king, they used the original Thor score, specifically the song used in the scene where Thor is supposedly going to become king, bringing his journey to full circle, I got chills when I heard that song
Thor, the third Thor, was the best Thor.
