I shopped all the Germans and Jaguar (former owner) and bought one of the very first 2022 GV70 3.5 Sport Prestiges back in November 2021, zero regrets, would buy it again tomorrow. The tech is class leading, and the design language inside and out makes the Germans overpriced, and unlike my BMW and Jaguar doesn't regularly have issues. My next vehicle will be a another Genesis, I am that impressed.
I think the GV70 is still the best looking compact SUV. It's like the FX from Infiniti, part car and SUV. Did the info release mention the eLSD? The 3.5TT was having problems with it. That's why I've been on the fence.
Nah they don’t mention negative stuff or address serious things like that. It’s possible they fixed it on the hush and they’re simply not mentioning it. But yes sir I def agree with you it does sort of have FX vibes that’s why I love the 3.5T sport models it looks so proper
My first thought... reminded me of the FX from Infiniti. Love it.. in fact went shopping for the Genesis almost immediately. Then.. starting finding all the bad press and negative articles... stories of poor dealership support - no loaners in some locations - parts shortages from the factory causing some customers waiting "months" for a warranty repair to be fixed, speakers stop playing audio, paint chipping, rattling noises while driving, timing chain problems, anti-theft system False Alarms, peeling pain, engine frequent stalling, whining noise from power steering pump... etc. etc.
Thanks for the tips! Can you pls elaborate on the 8-10% MSRP discount? Do you think that is possible to get specifically with the GV70 / Genesis cars in general and how do you recommend to go about it?
Find a high quality dealership near you, once that's done find the general manager's email and email them politely on an in-stock GV70 that you like and ask for 10% off MSRP out the door with no additional add-ons, only tax, tags, and dealer fees. Tell them if you agree to this deal, you will buy the vehicle right now. Worse they can say is no.

I don't see them on the road very often but when you do the GV70 and GV80 sure do have a presence on the road.
For sure! Love the looks of these out on the road
I'm starting to see them pop up way more than the Gv80 now, but I do stay in a major city...

@@eleanornoway2602 I didn't know about some of those concerns. I know the Sport Prestige 3.5TT was having eLSD issues
We just got the 2025 2.5t sports prestige. Awesome SUV !!
Massive congrats!
I got the same but in the 3.5 - it hauls!!!!
@@LB-ng9ez Nice!! And congrats
Congrats. Dream car for me atm. Does the 2025 come with a large screen? 27 inches?
@@warlord1987 Thanks. Great SUV so far. The larger screen will come with the 2026 model from what I have seen online.
This is going to be my next car. I’m trying to hold out to see if the gv70 is going to get the gv80 and g80 treatment of updates.
Probably 2026 model year
@@mohdsayedahmad7092yes. Waiting for the 27” screen.
I just wish if mine had wireless carplay
I believe it is just software that makes it wireless. Honda is installing software on those wired CarPlay and Android auto from 2019 and above
I was told a SW update (eventually) would remedy this, but I read up on the most recent update, which said nothing about CarPlay.
A very recent over-the-air update enables wireless Apple CarPlay, so look for it…
Any changes to EV range?
They haven’t released EV details yet only updates currently is for the Gas models. But I do know 2024 GV70 EVs are leasing out pretty well right now

They look great but have so many problems and reliability issues!
Almost every new turd on the road has issues. Find a good dealer to work with.
What is the reliability issue with the gv70?
