I'm a Pohl barn fan, however your bowl wins👍
Hahahhahaha Katon. Doug Watched it before I posted it. lol
Thanks Doug.
@@katonhellenthal576 LOL NOPE I did not,
That silver and onyx background resin was a great choice! Very reminiscent of the lead caning in real stained glass. Magnificent!
Thank you
Great bowl and as always love the tshirt. My 🐈⬛ watches me. 😂
😁
Beautiful colors! Got my giggles in when you fast forward! Thanks. Turned out great love it!
Thank you so much!
Good morning, Ken! Love your passion and energy for turning. Time to make bowl blank, 1 day. Time to turn bowl, 1 hour. Time for sanding and finishing, 1 month! Excellent finished results. Dream it, make it happen!
Hahahaha, so true. Thanks.
I had a bad week. All of the colors make me happy 😁👍
So glad to hear that. I hope your Friday is super.
It’s beautiful, I like the lead glass look. ♥️
Thank you
So pretty. You make it look so easy. That's because you are a professional.
Thank you! 😊
Doug sent me! I'm really glad he did!

Thank you! 😊
Just beautiful! Clever technique, as usual.
Thank you so much 😀
Really nice, that came out really nice. Thank you for sharing your video.
Thank you for watching. I appreciate it.
There is something so calming and relaxing from watching you stripping away all that excess material to form the bowl. All of my anxiety just melts away every time I watch one of your videos.
This bowl just like every other one came out fantastic! I just can't tell you how much I love every single one of your pieces!! Amazing!
Thank you for the kind words Janet
So did any chunks of resin fly across the shop almost hitting your wife? Asking for a friend. It’s beautiful! Great job honey!!
That's next weeks video bahahahahaaha
Lol
Wait what.. you hit your wife with Shrapnel ? Shame on you Ken !!!
Lol I could be wrong but I think that actually is his wife just making a joke bro
Very creative. I never would have thought of using colored resin as my stained glass. Great job.
Nice to have a deep bowl..lots of uses...very nice!

Looks great. I applaud all your effort; so much work that few people would realize from the final result.
Thank you very much!
I didn't think I would like the gray, but I love the bowl. Will be watching for more videos.
Great plan and execution. The silver as lead is awesome. Make a bell shaped lampshade? This design would look cool lit from inside
Bahahhaahhaaha hea dover to Dougs Channel. I couldn't think of the technical word they call the lead.
fantastic bowl, great project !!!!!!!
Thank you very much!
I love it brother. You always make the finish look so great and shiny. Thank you.
I appreciate that!
That is just gorgeous! I really like your color choices, and I like the random shapes and sizes of the pieces. Great work!
Thank you so much!
That's a good looking bowl Ken, I really like that silver in between the brightly colored pieces. Cheers, Hans

I really like the stained glass look. I would have liked to have seen more light colors, with maybe a clear sparkle resin to hold them all together. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing work.
❤ 🙃
Thank you for the suggestion and for watching.
Very cool. Man I love that silvery black filler resin you used. Such a cool project. Loved Doug's as well.
Thanks Joe. We both appreciate the support

Lol the epoxy pour music sounds interesting to say the least. Amazing project man.
Thanks! It helps with preventing cracks.
Awesome!! Even with all the issues this turned out great!! Great job, Ken. I really like that silver Smokey affect.
I am still refinishing it. lol One day I will get it on my web site.
I like this! The stained glass idea is awesome.
Thanks Carol.
I really like the silver and black in between the colors. Thumbs up
Thank you Lyle.
This is SO cool!! Love the stained glass look!
Thanks!!!
Great job. Luv the "precision resin deconstruction tool" I have used that same tool on many "Precision" jobs
Thank you! 😂
you are the winner in this race for a number of reasons...well, for me, anyway. i haven't been able to turn for quite a few years, but i am really having a great time viewing your projects. thanks for sharing them!
Thank you Nick. I appreciate that.
ok Ken I am now watchin from my other Channel ! great Job we both did.
Thanks Doug.
I think that turned out pretty beautiful Ken great job take care and God bless and stay cool
Thanks 👍
I like yours so much better!!! You used only the cracked "glass" and by using the silver resin it looks like the normal solder they would use to put the stained glass together. It looks GREAT
Thank you! 😊
I think it's absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you very much
Beautiful creation! You and Mr Moore without a doubt are the most talented turners I watch.
Thank you so much 😀
BEAUTIFULLY DONE

Thank you Brad.
Nicely done Ken!
Thank you kindly!
Very pretty bowl for your battle with Doug. I like them both equally-I couldnt pick a favorite
Thank you very much! No need to choose.
Turned out great!
Thank you
I have heard they use lead in between the stain glass. I didn't think you color choice would work. I was wrong. Nice work. You and Doug!
Yours looked more like stain glass. His was clever in a different way.
👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Both projects turned out great. I really like the free form look of this, Ken.
Thanks Derek. It was fun.
You guys are inspiring me to try some new stuff ❤
This came out Great 👍🏻
I Love It!
Yay! Thank you!
That came out awesome Ken! Great Job Brother!
Thanks 👍
Very nice finish with the resin, big thumbs up. Everyone I've seen use shine juice on resin said it didn't work out.
This time it was my fault. I used old shellac. It doesn't work well on all resin sometimes. .
Stunning
Thanks
I like the shirt you were wearing in the outro.
My mom got me that shirt.
I do stained glass and I have to tell you that I am in LOVE with both of your projects! Beautiful and I can't stop thinking about how much control I'd have over the "glass" colors not to mention the color of the "lead"!
You have a new fan!
Thank you so much. I appreciate your comment.
As a glass blower I can give you exact control over your colors from a palette of over 400 commercially available options. Be the most expensive one off sheets ya ever bought but any glass blower can make that happen for ya.
@@joshschneider9766 I can imagine the possibilities for getting custom glass! Thing is that if I have a client who wants something very specific and who has deep enough pockets I'd LOVE to work with glass blowers for custom pieces!
That would make a sweet lampshade btw. Being marine grade it would stand light bulb heat right
This colab gave me an idea
I'm glad, hope to see it soon.
Looks really cool man thanks stay safe
Thanks, you too!
Very cool!
Thanks James
Love, love the stained glass bowl 😍 Great vision! I especially liked the accompanying music to the video. I'm into Vampires and it's right down my dark alley...lol 😆 🤣
P.S. Your bowl beat Pohl Barns 👍
Thank you
That really looks nice, Ken!
Thanks
I love your precision with the BFH.
Hahhahahahaha thank you.
GREAT BOWL KEN IT LOOKS AWESOM FROM .THE OTHER DOUG WITH NO BARN
Thanks 👍 Maybe we should start a go fund me to get you that barn lol
I love it Ken thank you thank you so much. and your ball did come out beautiful my friend it's always a pleasure watching you. Thank you buddy
Very beautiful piece sir
Many thanks
Dude everytime I watch one of your videos I get inspired. I have 2 projects I'm going to do that are inspired by this and the one you went through the bottom of. I'm going to do videos for each as well. Thanks for being an inspiration.
That is awesome! I always watch videos when looking for inspiration. Sometimes it works. Sometimes.....well you know.
@@MoonpieCreations If I can I'll send you a link when I finally do get it done.
Love the bowl, Ken!!!!
Thank you.
Ken,
That's a really interesting bowl, I like all the bright colors. Thank you for taking time to film and post this video. Now to head over to pohl barn and check out his video.
44 minutes later,
Update: just watched pohl barn video,....... Um it looks like Dr. Seuss puked in his ice cream bucket and poured it in his ear!
lol, what? That's a hell of a description.
Great job.
Thanks!
Looks awesome Ken.
Thanks 👍
Looks great.
Thanks!
Guys I'm a glass blower that has made actual stained glass sheets and I gotta say this is awesome. And I totally sympathize with having to get an idea out of your heads
Thank you Josh I appreciate that.
That there is a right purty bowl man!
Thank you sir.
Great work Ken, now it could just be me, but I think the resin pouring music is just like...the other half of your catch phase...yeah its probably just me, but remember, you can't have 1 without the other, Stay Cool 🤣
Hahahahaha You are right!
Nice bowl 😊
Thank you 😋
I love he way this one turned out
Thank you Katon.
Nice Ken. It seemed like a real struggle with the finish. Why do many drips? It came out real nice from what I could see on camera tho. I came from watching Doug's video first. Thanks for sharing your creativity with me again. Stay safe, Vickie
Thanks 👍 So I was rushing to get the finish done and I had a lot going on. I think if I was to slow done and pay attention the resin finish would have been better. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and comment.
Nice job. I like it
Thank you! Cheers!
