@ronileon7106 Not worried as a Chiefs fan. Contested catches arebt the norm here, Andy and Pat seem to prefer to scheme guys open. It's why I don't want us to go after guys who only upside is 50/50 jump balls, so if what I heard pre-combine about dude is true he should be a good wr here
@@ronileon7106the Chiefs don’t just lob it to 6’4” receivers down the field, they mostly scheme mid and short routes to get the wr in space. just watch tape on bro, he is electric
I loved that the Chiefs picked Worthy. That’s exactly who I wanted them to pick and they did. We needed someone like Worthy to really help our WR group get much stronger.
5:30 the falcons were thinking of the future with that pick, because when you think about it kirk will be 36 in August and in today's nfl for a quarterback that's old, not to mention he's coming off of a torn Achilles tendon so the Falcons are thinking, Kirk may or may not have a lot of more time in him
on another hand, if kirk does have a few more years in him the falcons are letting Pennix sit behind kirk and learn form him, i was confused at first too, but then i thought yesterday that kirk is getting old
12:30 Worthy was always a round 1-2 guy before the 40. He’s a great route runner, and of course blazing speed. His hands are kind of a concern because he normally had fine hands, but sometimes he tries to turn up field and just drops the easiest passes. He won’t be Tyreek, that’s ridiculous, but I do believe he can be a very good gadget guy for them. Also Pearsall is probably the 3rd best route runner in the draft behind McConkey and Harrison. He was definitely a round 2 guy, so maybe he went a little high but it’s nothing crazy.
Worthy as an 18 year old kid routed up bama and had 1k receiving he's been solid since coming in. Never missed a game even with a broken hand. Has a lower drop rate than coleman
My dad was not happy about the Nix pick, but that’s OK because he wasn’t happy about the Surtain pick in 2021 either. Both times he thought they should go for a different position (qb in 2021, skill player in 2024). He dropped expletives both times. Both players have turned out to be really good. Lol.
the cardinals picked darius robinson at 27, and the corner the eagles took, quinyon mitchell, also wears 27, which is the amount of days i’ve been asking for the gfeul shake to return
The falcons pick also pissed me off cause MPX is probably the second most nfl ready qb in the draft and now he’s gonna have to hold a clipboard forever instead of going to a team that actually needs him
Looking after the draft, the bills draft class looks surprisingly good... Keon actually might be a factor, cole is gonna be great, i think we might be able to compete still. Its gonna be tough, but we can do it. Superbowl? Maybe. Well see.
U really dont get why people are hating on the cowboys pick, he is a solid tackle and the cowboys have developed some really fucking good linemen including tyron. Also, people hated the tyler smith pick, he has turned out pretty good so far
As a pats fan Wyatt. I hope Maye sits next year and develop bc he can be like Josh Allen. Just needs to develop like Josh did and then it’s fire fighting fire
Reid and Mahomes has had Toney, Skyy moore and many other busts. The Chiefs will be good no matter what, but Worthy will likely be bad. He is small, hands are an issue, his catch radius and his quickness isnt elite
worthy is small obviously, but he's pretty durable for a guy his size, and he's expected to bulk up a bit, tyreek was also very small, comparable to desean jackson as well, marvin harrison had a higher drop rate than he did, obviously he's smaller his catch radius isn't the greatest, and saying his quickness isn't elite just goes to show you haven't watched him or let some random media person dictate your opinion on him, he should do well on the chiefs for multiple reasons, and he'll do great spacing out the field for them
As a titans fan I was hoping for Alt pissed we didn’t get him but Latham seems versatile so I’m hoping for the best. Man this draft was wild the falcons pick still baffles me like why🤷♂️🤷♂️
The falcons gm drafted 4 straight offensive players the past few years and the falcons need a defense but I did see that they drafted a lot of defensive players the next few rounds
You just gave the Chargers hell for not being cute with their pick but praised the Giants and Bears for the same thing. There was alot more late round talent at receiver than tackle so I think they made the right choice based on need.
Honestly, with Herbert suffering some injuries the past few years, I think Joe Alt is honestly the right move at 5 (totally not a Colts and ND fan that didn't want to watch Joe Alt fall to the Tits)
I think it was the move too, so long as they get a WR round 2. I can forgive passing on Nabers if they get someone like Franklin, Mitchell, Coleman or McConkey.
Call me crazy, I actually really like the Falcons pick. Penix is super talented and made insane plays to beat Texas in the playoffs a few months ago. I think Penix is going to be thrust into the starting role in a couple seasons and show everyone why he was a top 10 pick.
The 49ers pick makes sense because of the Aiyuk drama if you think about. And Pearsall is a dawg I watched a lot of him. Just never had a good QB at Florida.
Yeah the Jordan Morgan pick was very Packers where we didn't expect it at all. But it's a very Gute pick so I trust in it fully.
