@ due to it getting late I had too be multiple teams I started as the commanders my game is actually included in the video then I swapped to the lions and finished with them
I feel it would be no depending on the other teams records. Typically in real life if one team was 10-6-1 and the other 10-7 the 10-6-1 team has a 1/2 win over them. I would think 1-0-16 would be something like 8.5 wins? I have no idea though, just a guess, hopefully @YaBoyPizza tries this myth.
Quite literally yes, at least in NFL terms, although I don't know about madden. If a team went 1-0-16 those 16 games would be nullified and that team would finish with not only a record above .500 but finish with a perfect 1.000
@Jacer_YT while technically you 'Undefeated', the chance of making the playoffs with 1-0-16 the same as with the 8-8-1. Ties are counted as 0.5 loss and 0.5 win, so it's only depends on your division. If you were the 1st team in your division with 7-10, you would make the playoffs with 0-0-17 (8½ wins).
ACCORDING TO THE NFL RULES. If EVERY TEAM ties EVERY GAME. It is a COIN FLIP for each division. 2 teams from each division pick heads, the other 2 pick tails. Which ever side it lands on those 2 are in. To determen seading, it goes to points differentural.
That can’t be the case here though, because that would mean that two teams out of the packers, lions, viking and bears wouldn’t have made it, plus that gives you eight teams moving into the playoffs
The coin flip part is correct, but the "2 teams are heads.... whichever side it lands on those 2 are in" part is incorrect. Only one team can win the division (affects homefield and whatnot) and there are only 7 playoff spots per conference, but this would make 8. The coin flip will determine the division winners, only one team can win each division. Those 4 teams will then need a series of coin flips to determine seeding 1 - 4. The remaining teams after the division will go through a series of coinflips to determine who wins the 3 wild card spots. Actually, there would be a ton of coinflips as each position (15 - 32) needs to be determined precisely for draft orders.
Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs). Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. Strength of victory in all games. Strength of schedule in all games. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed in all games. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed in all games. Best net points in common games. Best net points in all games. Best net touchdowns in all games. Coin toss
The entire NFC north and AFC north division made it and one representative from each other division. Not sure what decided the seeding or what team represents each division though.
I did this in Tecmo Super Bowl back in the early 90s. Played every game for every team, trying for a tie. It was really hard. I got ties in about 95% of the games, but fluke turnovers cost me the tie a few times. Tecmo Super Bowl was the best. Anyone could go 19-0. But it was fun to have a team go 20-0 by finishing with 3 16-0 teams in one conference and one team needing to play an extra playoff game.
It would be coin flips for every single position, and here's why: For two-way ties within a division, the NFL breaks those ties with the following tiebreakers, in this order: 1. Head-to-head results (in other words, the results of games between the two teams) 2. Division record 3. Record in common games (games against opponents that both teams played against) 4. Conference record 5. Strength of victory (the combined records of every opponent in games won by the teams) 6. Strength of schedule (the combined records of every opponent in games played by the teams) 7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed (in both this step and the next one, both ranked positions are added together and that's what gets compared) 8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed 9. Point differential in common games (explained above) 10. Point differential in all games 11. Touchdown differential in all games 12. Coin toss For three-way or four-way ties, the same set of tiebreakers are applied, except that when any team is eliminated from the tie, the process starts over again with the remaining teams. For two-way ties between teams from two different divisions, these tiebreakers are applied, in this order: 1. Head-to-head results if there are any 2. Conference record 3. Record in common games if there are at least four After that, it's the same as for divisional ties (starting at step 5, of course). For ties with three or more teams, the first step is to use divisional tiebreakers to narrow the field to one team from each division. After that, if any one team beat all the others or lost to all the others, that team either wins or is eliminated from this particular tiebreak, and if this happens, the process is restarted from the beginning again. Otherwise, revert to step 2 of the non-divisional tiebreaker and proceed from there. Source: www.nfl.com/standings/tie-breaking-procedures As you may have noticed, every single one of those tiebreaking procedures (with the obvious exception of the coin toss) has to do with either win-loss record or differences in scoring. Since all of the games ended in 0-0 ties, there are no possible variances in record or in point differential, and since a 0-0 tie means no one could have scored any touchdowns, the touchdown differential also cannot break any ties. Thus, it goes to a coin toss for every single tie. That would probably go something like this: Starting with one division, all four teams are present and two will be heads and the other two tails. After that toss, the two winning teams will each pick either heads or tails again and the winner will be the division champion. The three remaining teams then start over to pick the runner-up, third place, and fourth place positions for that division. This process will be repeated for all eight divisions. Then, the four division champions in each conference will repeat the process to determine which team gets each of the first four seeds in the playoffs. Once that is done, the remaining teams gather to decide the three wild card teams. The first four-way coin toss is between the division runners-up, then after one team is awarded the 5 seed, the team that was third place in that division becomes eligible for the next coin toss for the 6 seed, then the team who claims the 6 seed is replaced in the coin toss for the 7 seed by the team that finished one place farther back in that division's final standings and that coin toss is done. Of course, we're still not finished, because even after all 14 playoff participants are decided, the remaining 18 teams must hold additional coin tosses to decide the draft order for the next season, and in those tiebreakers, conference does not matter. The first 18 draft positions can go to the 18 non-playoff teams in any order with no regard to conference. That would be an absolute nightmare to try and determine how to fairly choose which team gets the first pick, second pick, etc. TLDR: All the NFL's existing tiebreakers involve game results and scoring, so if all NFL games ended in 0-0 ties, there would be a bunch of coin tosses to decide who plays in the playoffs and who drafts when.
It's literally a coin toss for every seed. Here's what would happen if this occurred: Step 1: Each division would hold a four-way coin toss to determine its standings. These four teams in each conference are set aside. Step 2: The four second-place teams would hold a coin toss for the No. 5 seed. Step 3: The three remaining second-place teams and the third-place team in the No. 5 seed's division hold a coin toss for No. 6. Step 4: The remaining three teams plus either the fourth-place team (if 5 and 6 are from the same division) or the third place team from No. 6's division toss coins again for the No. 7 seed. Step 5: The four division champions hold a coin toss for each of the top four seeds.

According to official NFL tiebreaker rules, if every game ended in a tie, the teams would be ranked by number of net touchdowns scores. If touchdowns were tied as well, as in this simulation, it would be decided randomly. That's from the official NFL website.
For the QB cathing myth it's possible. A friend and me did it on accident, I just bullet passed a unaware receiver the moment I snapped it deflected toward the QB, I was playing as the broncos. Such a weird catching animation though
Wildcards were the North and the division of the one who had the bye. Was the leading teams decided by available salary cap? I cannot think of anything else.
For his week 12 plays of the week I feel like there all gonna be from the nfc east bc the 2 Saquon Barkley runs that one went for 72 yards and the other one went for 70 yards and the kavonte Turpin kick return also the cowboys onside kick TD or the terry mclaurin TD in one play that I think it was like 82 yards
I have to be the one to say this YoBoyPizza… I really really really do.. but I feel like I have an obligation to drag this out more than I already have before I finally be the one to bring it up.. . You need to do it all again… to see if the same teams are in the playoffs.
Every AFC North team made it. Every NFC north team made it. And 1 team from both divisions got the top seed bye. Maybe there is some sort of per-determined order to this. One would assume Alphabetical rather by city or team name but it doesn't seem to be that. Very interesting
great video Pizza can you get a 99 overall team with 0 speed vs a 0 overall team with 99 speed and maybe make a full season AFC 99 overall NFC 99 speed
If all other tiebreakers fail (as they would here), the NFL rules allow for a random drawing to determine playoff seeding. This could involve anything from a literal drawing of names to a coin toss, and it would likely be done by the league office
Same type of video like this, can you make a team go 21-0? Make two stacked teams who never play eachother in the regular season and user the 2 seed through the playoffs.
I bet its random. The real life nfl tie breakers just go to a coin flip if all previous tie breakers are still tied. We even had a draft pick decied by coin flip a few years ago
You could try to stay in the pocket, throw it to your running back short, and have it bounce off a limit into the air for your quarterback to catch it?
Really hope you all enjoyed this one! What other myths would you like me to try out next?
