These things are awesome in the rain! (I guess it depends on your tires and temp as well) Im from CT and we just got through a rainstorm but all weekend I was out tearing up roads. Great Video
That kind of driving is so much fun. I have some areas by me like this but highly patrolled unfortunately. Hope all is well. Seems like you are enjoying your ride which I am happy to see.
Must have been Recycling Day...... These cars are a blast on the twisties! It's the perfect balance of confident braking, torque w/ e-diff to pull you out of the corners and DCT gearing that fully exploits the flat powerband. Not to mention the grippy and supportive seats and weighted steering in full send mode. I can't control the ear-to-ear grin on my face. Sometimes I find an excuse to take a little rip down some lightly-traveled back roads. The Michelin 4S tires are still getting it done at 16,000 miles and I have had no complaints after all 3 recalls have been attended to. Happy motoring!
So they do have some kind of device that you can attach to your bumper that sends out some kind of sound or frequency to warn / scare the deer away. Don’t know what they are called. Very small and nearly undetectable. I live in a very deer populated area. I see them on cars now and then.
Love your videos and your Elantra. I am also a big fan of Hyundai. Recently I have noticed a small stone chip on the hood that really bugs me. I watched the “after 10k miles” video of you. In the video you pointed out some rock chips on the hood. Can I ask if you have touched them up? If not, would you do a video showing us how you would touch them up? What do you think of Dr Colorchip touchip kit? Look forward to seeing more great contents from your channel. Thank you!
Thank you so much for the kind words! And great suggestion! I have definitely considered making a video showing the process for touching up chips, so keep an eye out for that in the near future.
Would you ever try driving with TC off in these roads? I'm about to head out to highway 7 in Arkansas and was considering turning tc off while driving through hardcore twisty roads

Awesome! It does drive pretty well on wet roads.

Coppers ruining all the fun ha ha. I am loving this car, thanks man. It really handles incredibly well.
Such a wholesome comment. Nice change from the cancerous shit you see all the time.

Ha ha yea my I think it was trash day. Yep, it’s a fantastic car and is so fun to hustle around. I’m right at 16,000 miles, too.
Every time you want to sell this, go to your local backroads and drive spiritedly. And it will make you fall in love with it all over again.
best mod for the EN is a pro driving instructor
it will change the car completely
So true. I catch myself saying “I can’t believe how good this car is” every time I drive it on a backroad.

I do see deer, but usually only around sunrise and sunset. During the day they tend to rest. They do sell deer warnings.
@@BurnseysRT those don't work 😉

Is tc off?
No, just in the default sport setting when in N mode.

@@taemeister9302 no I wouldn’t. The N mode TCS is so good it doesn’t need to be completely off IMO.
Watching this pretending im driving the EN as a strong white man. Feels good
