  • In this webinar authors of the edited volume on “The Impact of the United Nations Human Rights Treaties on the Domestic Level: Twenty Years On” share their critical analysis on their respective countries.
These authors discuss Nepal, Senegal, Poland, Colombia, and Spain. The Norway and South Africa’s national human rights institutions (NHRIs) discuss the role of the two NHRIs in contributing to the impact of international human rights law on domestic law in the two countries.
Finally, Master’s students of the Master programs on Human Rights and Democratisation (University of Pretoria) and the Theory and Practice of Human Rights (University of Oslo) give an expert review of the impact seen of specific treaties on three selected countries.
