I really love the fact that they understood their audience grew up since then, and adjusted accordingly to their maturity.

I was 7 years old when the show first dropped on Nickelodeon.. I’m now 21.. the show has aged with me and the rest of the OG fans. It’s not necessarily meant for kids. Yes, the nostalgia is incredible, but it’s to show that the people the characters were back then are still the same people.. they’re just older, with a greater understanding of the world, more mature experiences.. they aged with us and I’m so thankful for that

It’s not technically a kids show because they’re not kids anymore. All of us that used to watch this show grew up right along with the cast. 😭

This show wasn't meant for kids it's the whole point of growing up. Specially the kids that watched the old icarly have grown up and is watching the grown up icarly.

I kinda like that it's not a kids show. Since everyone who watched the original show as a kid are grown up now and the cast are adults now too. And it's not just another reboot, it's altered for the grown-ups to enjoy. I especially love the episode "iTake a Girl's Trip" because it's so chaotic.
The show is still funny and can also be for kids and for people of all ages
@@TheSeriousAnalysist A lot of parents don't want to have their small kids hear curse words. it's really not meant for small kids. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone under 15 or 16.

I was so mad because she really did it for the fans and she argued that the simpsons are on the network so why cant she do her show, if Disney had it their way she wouldnt be the main character anymore prob with 2 kids and non relatable anymore to the audience that’s actually gonna watch
This isn’t a kid’s show. I’m the same age as the characters, 27. We are not kids anymore haha. Some of us have graduated college twice, gotten married, bought houses, had kids, traveled the world, etc we aren’t babies anymore. I love that they didn’t keep this a kid’s show and they grew it with the audience. I watched this show when I was a tween.

I really like the reboot, I think it's nostalgic and perfect for anyone who grew up watching icarly since it's clearly for adults now. I think it's actually better than the original.

I love the revival so much. I'm the same age as the characters and I'm enjoying a light hearted, sitcom approach to a show playing with this stage of life. Shows normally take a bit more of a dramatic approach. This is so fun!

I saw an interview in where Miranda said that the show was made for the original fans of iCarly. The fans are old enough now to see those things and other issues mentioned in the show, along with the cast.
The most successful reboots of kid shows are the ones that grow up with the original audience. This show is one of them! :) glad they didn’t make it a cheesy kids show

As much as I miss the old ICarly, I love how it shows where they are now, and how much they’ve grown up, rather than it being the same as it was before.
this show is honestly the PINNICALE for how to do a revival right when tapping into the show's core audience. For once its Disney whose sitting on the sidelines looking like an idiot with the way they blew it bringing back Lizzie McGuire while I know Raven specifically requested Raven's Home appeal more towards children so i guess that gets a pass.

iCarly is still a legendary sitcom as far as I'm concerned.
The new iCarly is not a kids show anymore, it grew along with us. I watched the iCarly in Nick since Season 1 and I am still binge watching it, and also am watching the new iCarly to get the nostalgic vibe for both iCarly shows
I was 7 when the first season of the first episode of iCarly aired on Nick. And now, I am 21 years old and still can relate to them🥺

I've seen all the past icary shows, Freddie voice sounds all grown up now.
Not all sitcoms are for kids, so this version is now being watched by older teens to adults, like Friends only it didn’t had a reboot.
The thing is, the OG ICarly was geared towards teens. It technically wasnt a "kids" show to start with. Its only fitting the reboot would grow with the original target audience.
