- When I put onto the legendary Fantasy Falls section in California, I was expecting to just enjoying another lap of one of the greatest sections in the world. But as the multi day went on, despite the high water, I was feeling up for all the major rapids the section is packed with. By the time we got to the bottom of the run I had run all 3 of the biggest rapids of the section, being the first person to do so in one trip. It was 2 of the rowdiest days of my life, and as epic as it gets.
No music, pure action with natural roar of river, Great you guys are the best,

Dane, I really enjoy your videos. I met you with your dad on pillow rock rapid on gauley river when you were a young boy. You have grown a lot since then. I bet your dad is proud of how good of a kayaker you have became.

I think the lens on this gopro is much more narrow than the newer videos. As a result, this video was so much more intense! I could feel the waves on top of me, honestly it was eye opening.

Do you consider the fantasy flush running every single rapid and no portages or just running the big 6?
Same idea as the Royal Flush. There are 3 major rapids, each of which have been done. But no one had done all 3 in the same lap. I did have one portage of a sieved and log choked rapid on the first day.
What’s the third of the big three? Untouchables and mommy gorge are two obviously but is the third Jedi, island, or show me your tits?

There are some bad places in rivers that you really want to avoid, like sieves and undercuts. Which at times people might end up in. But that’s why we do things like scout beforehand as well as have good safety.

Can someone explain why they were laughing so hard at that guy? Clearly I'm a layman.
Johnny is a good friend of ours, dope paddler. The water was high so running that rapid was in a way him stepping it up, which we were stoked on. His face when he came out at the bottom was priceless, hard to see on the GoPro.

Hey Dane, when I try to upload go pro kayaking videos on to youtube to video quality is not that great, even though I record at 4k. I was wondering if you knew why or could suggest anything.

@@danejacksonkayak I am not completely sure what you mean. I did move the videos off of the sd card and on to my computer before if that is what you mean. Are you saying that I should upload the videos directly off of the sd card?
When you export your finished edited video, is it in 4K?
