Would it not make sense to rectify the 3 minor problems prior to selling ? Ad stating no problems seems better than listing several minor problems.

Shame about the Sunbeam, but I agree it's not as vibey as the Rover or Panhard, hopefully them lads will do it up. I still think there's a place for the older cars on this channel, but it's gotta be the right ones i suppose.
My mum has had two Rover 25's. First one was petrol and was written off by a bloody deer and the second one was a 2L Diesel, that engine was bullet proof.....and flood proof.
I had an S Reg Rover 25 2L Diesel, it had the Perkins diesel I think. I bought it in 2005 on 125K miles, by 2008 I sold it on 150K miles and all it needed was a CV boot replacement. Great car and felt more powerful than the Golf Mk5 1.6 I replaced it with.
The 4x4 fail on the Vauxhall is NOT a minor detail. That could be very dear to fix.

#Frontera Little key opens the spare wheel cover. Unless you press the button to the left of the steering wheel, you can't engage 4x4. Needs to be done with the wheels straight ahead and below 60 mph.

An interesting video. I liked the Sunbeam and might have been tempted but it needed just a little bit too much work. As for the Austin and Rover well let’s just say I think you need to be a little more discriminating in your acquisitions!

I wish the used car market in Ontario, Canada was similar to your location. If you want a good laugh, checkout some used car prices around Toronto. Vehicles that have no place being put back on the road are sold for a few thousand bucks.

You’re close enough to Baxenden car breakers. They paid good $$$ for scrap cars and also could be a good source of parts for other projects. They also do UA-cam and might be down for a colab 👍👍👍
The rover25 would have been perfect for a detailing-channel. It's been a juwel - for their channel.
BTW: After a friend could not sell his manor, he followed my suggestion and changed price from 250k to 650k.
And it is sold. Even upwards is always possible! Even with cars!

Absolutely love your videos, so entertaining, you are hilarious at times and very talented. Are you actually trying to do this as a business though, seems more like an expensive hobby to me!? Maybe with some sponsorship it could work, but I can't see all the time and effort you spend on the cars even breaking even. Hope you can continue doing it though as this is one of the best shows on UA-cam in my opinion!
Ah shame about the rover 25, i am surprised that no one bought that for body panels, for an MGZR 160 racer. Or for spare parts to box off, due to how rare those are now on the roads. 15 years ago that engine would have been worth £50 all day long. The rover scene must be completely dead now, sadly.

you are taking in account the diesel for the discovery and parts but you dont take in account the ad revenue that those cars generated. Also pro tip advertise the cares that you are selling on youtube before you sell them not after, you have a big follow up people here it would increase your chance to sell it and for more money because people actualy know what has been done to the car. Your viwers trust you and would prefer buying from u than a shady bloke fb marketplace but they didnt know they were for sale.

That second car. Numberplate is a rarity. They stopped releasing plates that spelled sweary words. Having Pi55 on the number plate may amuse someone.
