Naomi and I are wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Thank you so much for all of the support on the channel - it really wouldn’t be anything without you all. 🙏🏻
And to you both as well. Keep up with the great work, and excellent videos 👍👍
Happy Christmas guys, really enjoy the videos, love the wide selection of cars you are doing!
Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year.
Merry Xmas guys! Looking forward to seeing more content in 2024. You and Naomi are so good together, good luck for the future for your imminent expanding family. 👶
Merry Christmas matey.
Love you guys' chemistry on camera & Na's support for the projects/channel. Seeing her confidently confirm the Merc was never going to be sold was actually quite touching!
Thanks for the kind words. She's fully on board with everything! Lucky to have her!
@34:30 As an engineer, I was given a couple of good bits of advice from my mentor.
1, Never buy tools you will never use.
We were a team of 4. The two guys in their early 30's had full snap on chests of tools. My mentor only had two 5 tray cantilever tool boxes. 'Every tool I need to fix every machine in this place is in those 2 boxes. I do not need the big tool kits'
2. If you need to buy a tool, buy the cheapest. If you break it or wear it out, then get an expensive one. There will be many times over the years that you will buy a tool to use once. Better to spend a tenner than a ton.
That's some solid advice right there, appreciate it 🤝
And snap on tools are not that great either to be fair, even Halford pro range have a lifetime guarantee for a quarter the price .
Second hand tools may cut it too I guess - some used-only-once ones are being resold quite cheap 😎
The Peugeot must have been listening to your plans, what a survivor. I get it, she deserves an owner who loves what he has. Your videos are such a wonderful way of making me smile, the cars and your humour is just great entertainment. So glad that your misses is more tolerant than most.👍❤
Really appreciate that mate
Fantastic that you are taking a course on wiring, it makes future problems with any new cars easier to tackle. You never stop learning, especially when you tackle different cars. Looking forward to watching more in the new year. ❤
Education is the best investment you'll make.
I've been watching your videos for a bit now, but this one made me click the subscribe button. Out of everything on here, I cannot express how happy it makes me to see such an amazing and supportive relationship that you and Naomi seem to have. Also congratulations on soon becoming parents, may your lives be full of health and joy!
All the best, and excited to see more content, whenever you find the time!
Thanks so much for the kind words 🙌🏻
This is the best UA-cam channel for a long time. You make me want to do more on all my cars. Wish you could post more. It's also great to see your wife gets so involved and excited over your projects.
That's great to hear 🫡
I absolutely get your feelings on the RS6, love the Avant shape and the specs, what a car.❤
Fair play to Naoimi for admitting to left foot braking, gem!!
I think we've all "hit the clutch" when transitioning from manual to automatic :)
It is very common when an experienced manual driver drives an automatic for the first time. I did it, too.
I've only ever driven an auto once and that's exactly what I did but I knew I was doing it.
Hiya buddy I’ve binge watched all of your videos over the last week and your dedication and drive is commendable and your partners support is brilliant keep up with everything you have been doing, if you’re interested I’ll come teach you to weld good enough to get a car back on the road and give you the basics if you have a day or two spare and obviously you will need a nice little welder 👍
Might have to take you up on that at some point. Really appreciate the kind words 👍🏻
You tell me when dude I just need a few days notice to book time off work and I’ll be there.
Hi, many congrats on your baby on the way, and your excellent channel, really enjoying watching! Every man needs a Naomi.. it must be great to have such a supportive and involved partner.. Great to see a couple work together so well! 👏 keep up the great content folks! 😉
Thanks for the kind words. I feel very lucky to have such an amazing woman by my side for sure.
Great round up to finish the year, nice to see Naomi taking such an active interest in your work and the channel 👌🏻
She's fully invested - makes life a lot easier lol
Great channel - Came here for the RS6 content.....keep the content coming please! RS6=Keeper, Naomi=Keeper for sure!
American here, just found you, I can relate especially to the startup on the old Rover. Been there many times. All mechanics share the anxiety of the engine start up after lots of sweat to get to that point. Like you I am self taught. Two problems with that. practice does not make perfect if you are doing it wrong. it just makes it perfectly wrong! Why I fix my own cars... why pay someone else to screwup your car when you can do it for free!! Will stay tuned.
Thanks keep up the good work, love the content and the banter 👍
Thank you so much for the generosity. Hope you're having a great Christmas 🙏🏻
I agree with your comments about the throw away culture. My Xmas present was new Ray Bans - my old Le Specs have lasted 30 years but there rusting now! Also maintaining your own car is super environmentally friendly. I have a 10 year old Tiguan petrol and a 2006 Citroen C3 (in Australia).
30 years! Good man 🤝
I love your videos mate!
Keep up with the great work 👏🏾
Happy holidays 🥳
Great video
The Peugeot is quite nostalgic to me and in particular the hole in the top of the NSF wing - my dad bought a saloon version new in 1980 (W reg) which became my first car when I passed my driving test in 1986. At that point it had about 55k on the clock, garaged from new and was already rusting! especially the nearside. I spent hours one day filling the hole in the top of the front wing and re-painting but the rust was coming back thru within days! Engines were great but the bodies were tissue-paper thin so I'm surprised yours has lasted so well.
Hope you both had a lovely Christmas! Love these videos,
Can't wait to see you fix up the Rover p6 and the zodiac/zephyr. Also love the RS6 What a car. Keep up the good work 👏 👍
Gratulations! Merry Christmas and have a wonderful new year, and next year as a little familly.
What a great video and so good to see your Mrs being so supportive. You are a lucky fella, my Mrs is the same and also supports me having a few cars that I try tinker on. Happy New Year to you both 🎉
You have great chemistry with Naomi on camera. Its almost as if you are very comfortable around each other 🤔
Yeah we're very close
Hope you guys had an amazing Christmas. Such an entertaining, educational and inspirational channel. Thank you!!
Thanks so much. Merry Christmas!
Great video, I love the channel and your enthusiastic approach. I wish you every success with the channel.
Great video Love your channel. I am doing more on cars now after watching you sort yours have a merry Christmas late I know have a fantastic new year to you both and your family
Thanks for your great video all the best for you both. Your plans are what a lot of us have dreamed of doing but commitments and space and London have strangled us. Your so watchable because you’re honest and learn and teach as you go don’t worry nobody knows everything no matter what they tell you. 👍🏻
Appreciate that mate 🙌🏻
You've got some awesome content and I'm looking forward to seeing more next year.
Great video guys lovely couple congratulations on the baby, you are a man after my own heart when it comes to cars, also self taught and been tinkering with car since before I could drive. All the best for the future keep up the good work. 👍
Great to hear that 🤝
It's so good to see the both of you doing so well. It always brings me joy to see the growth of channels that are run by genuinely good people. Can't wait to see all of the adventures that 2024 will bring. Keep up the great work! :D
Appreciate that mate 🤝
Happy Christmas both of you, bloody brilliant channel. Thank you, they all make me smile and as a fellow garden mechanic with no hair I feel your pain! 😂
Haha appreciate that mate
Cheers for the update. Looking forward to seeing more
I have watched you since the first video and have always been impressed by your approach and your ethos. You’re a decent guy with a kind heart who quite obviously works hard and totally in love with Naomi. Keep it up Nuno… maybe do a SAAB one day.
Thanks for the kind words. I'm definitely up for a Saab one day 👍🏻
Been watching for a while like the authentic style that’s what’s so appealing 👍
Loved this video, great insight to the channel and you both.... really entertaining!
So pleased you've done this update! ❤❤❤🤘👍
Love the channel, I find it informative and refreshingly new. Love the merch too, rocking a hoodie as we speak. Keep up the great work and best wishes for the future! ☺
Congratulations to you both and wish you all the best when the baby comes along. Your videos are great, never change Nino.
Thank you mate
A great update for the year end , love the videos ….pure dedication hail, rain and snow , good luck and success for 2024 to you both
What got me into cars was owning a Fiat 128 estate as a first car, loved it, but had to learn how to keep her on the road, normally at the side of the road.👍😂
Great to see how the channel started and the progress. I have the same on my channel.. hate seeing things thrown away, so I am saving old cars that were due to be scrapped.
Easy way to avoid left-foot braking in an automatic is to tuck your left-leg behind your right-leg.
A trick my father taught me and I still use to this day while swapping from our manuals to our auto.
Please keep making videos, I love your channel for being like the normal average car guy. Everywhere else is all people that never think about the viewers or just refer to everything as cheap and spend waaaay too much money in the sense that the average joe can only day dream. The also average viewer also doesnt have a fully kitted garage. You bring me inspiration and motivation with my audi s5 if i ever need to do anything on it, merry Christmas and happy new year, look forward to the next video
I'll definitely bear that in mind! Thanks for the kind words. Merry Christmas to you too 🤝
I like your channel because it's a blue collar guy fixing cars. You come across as very genuine. Will keep watching.
You are very good at this and I really enjoy your videos! All the best in 2024 and I wish you more success.
Thank you for this video answering 😂a few questions , i have had a few oldtimers and enjoyed them as learning a lot with them. ( also using complete new words!) My compliments to Naomi for beeing so patient with your "fanatic" car lover. I have had a p6 2000TC and a find you a real hero buying a rusty p6. Also ihave had a p5 3,5 litre coupe wich i tookseveral times to the UK. Now a days i quit "tinkering" with oldtimers, but instead i really enjoy your advehtures on you tube! Great part with the Range Rover! Keep carry on and hope you get more time from Nino for your kid. Sorry for my English.... greetings from Holland!! Johan.
Thanks so much, Johan 🇳🇱🇬🇧
Hope you both are enjoying a great holiday season.
Same to you
Great wrap up of your projects. Love how you have a go and take on stuff others would not. Congratulations on your upcoming child and have a great New Year. I'd love to see you driving that Range Rover but I'm bias. Thanks again for the enjoyment. Marc from Australia 🇦🇺
Appreciate that, Marc 👍🏻
I've still got my 70s vintage Halfords socket set. Only one snag it is imperial. But the 1/2" drive ratchet works fine and I can adapt it down to my dad's old 3/8" metric set.
Congratulations. 🎉 I think I was in your first 100 subscribers or so. Your channel has blown up. Well done. You've done a great job.
Thanks for hanging around for so long 🤝
Very good and unique channel. Maybe because the two of you seem perfectly happing doing what you love and/or supporting each other doing it. Truly enviable. Im betting your channel will take off in 2024
Appreciate that mate 🤝
Happy new year to you both and good luck with the baby! It will take up more of your time than you think😅
Haha thanks - looking forward to it
Great channel guys. Only found out about it a month ago and pretty much watched all the videos. Funny to see how everyone that loves cars have the same problems specially with rust and 10mm spanner disappearing
Great vid big man hope you and the Mrs had a lovely Christmas and have a great new year keep upball the fab vids 😅😅
Thank you. Very enjoyable video
Hope you both had a good day yesterday another good video this is the 1st ever Q&A video ive ever watched from start to finish carnt wait for some more videos
High praise indeed. Glad you enjoyed it!
have the same issue with my '92 220e wiring loom. Would be great to do it myself, thanks for sharing the course.
Love the videos and I’m looking forward to seeing more content from you.
Go past your place on my bike quite a bit, recognised some of the "fleet". Love the channel, keep up the good work.
nice to hear your story. working in that single car park will always be a favourite of mine... and nice you can pursue a long time desire
You both have great chemistry, cheers from Puerto Rico
Hi to you both. Another great video. Definitely going to check out the courses. Wishing you and Naomi a happy and successful New Year ❤
And the same to you 🤝
thanks and happy new year
Congratulations to you both thanks for the update 💛❤👍🎉👌
Keep it up great content throughly enjoy 😊 looking forward to 2024 ❤️
Thanks for the vids. I've just binge watched the Merc epic. It's amazing the car hasn't gone up in flames - I guess you really need to change the wiring throughout the whole car, not just the engine bay.
Thank you so much for the donation. Very much hoping it’s just the engine loom wiring that I have to change!
Great video you Guys keep them coming, and all the best to both of you for 2024, and becoming a family soon
Been binging your videos over the last two weeks.Looking forward to the next project/video
Great to have you on board!
Great idea re practising welding on the 504. The 504 and the Indenor diesel are legends. Has to be saved, even if it doesn't look pretty.
Merry Christmas and happy new year too you and family And Many more cars too come xxx❤
Congratulations on your baby news great channel keep up great wrk all the best for new year
I think the best part of this is, your life partner getting excited over the old Peugeot starting up 🙂👍🏼 how good ❤️
And so pleased you're keeping the Merc!!!!!❤
Love your videos and I have the same ethos as you - I hate waste and hate selling cars. I longed for RS6 having own A6’s for 20+ years. Last year I treated myself to a C7 3.0 bitdi - not quite an RS6 but 0-60 in 5.3 seconds and 40mpg (not at the same time) great daily. Have a great Christmas and good luck for next year (the two of you and the bump)
0-60 in 5.3 seconds and 40mpg is a pretty decent deal if you ask me. Love a big Audi. Have a great Christmas 👍🏻
You are my favourite couple! Both feel so genuine and easygoing ❤
Thanks so much 😊
Oglądam z Sopot, Polska, i tak. ten filmik spowodował, że kliknęłam SUB
I really enjoy your channel. Great to see the W124 is still alive.
Great video. You should be allowed to put up a work tent with flame protection plates on the walls so you can weld in it. A tent heater would make it more comfortable too
You talk about cars you will never sell or let go...but, there is just one you have to keep for ever and ever...Naomi. She is a treasure !! I hope you will be able to post more videos, I enjoy them very much. Kind regards from the Netherlands. I also suggest you create the possibilitie to pay with PayPal for merchandise, I would like to order a Tshirt but do not have a credit card.
I'm sure it's not the first time you see this but I've just finished watching all your videos. Well....almost, I need to watch the Range shopping one. Man are you a breath of fresh air in this space!! You are genuine and real, very rare to find these qualities on this platform nowadays. All the best in the future and I really hope you get enough "whatever you need" (subs, sponsors, etc) to go full time here. I'd love to see you do longer projects like the Mini and the Fiat instead of a video here and there but hey ho, I am aware you are trying your hardest! Happy New Year and I hope Naomi has an easy remainder of the pregnancy and an easy birth! As for you Nino...hope you practiced nappy changing haha! All the best and I can't wait to see what you do next.
Sound video update and congratulations on your baby news 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks mate
I started with you and the R53 mini and absolutely love the whole journey. By the way the mini was my favourite
Thanks Malcolm, I remember you were one of the early commenters on the videos. Appreciate the support - and the help!
bloody good luck to you both
Thanks
Love it keep up the good work ❤
Good effort, good to watch content 👏
Lovely stuff mate, keep up the cool content and look forward to the next one. Hats off to Naomi for allowing the madness at times that is NEV, a lot of partners wouldnt entertain it 👏
Cheers mate
I found out your channel last week, but I’m loving it. You are such genuine and fun people! You’re the kind of mate I’d like to have to drink a couple beers and work on cool cars together. I wish you the best of luck with your future projects and with Naomi! For 2024, you should look into getting a project Porsche Boxster😉 they are really cheap in the UK and they’re one of the best sports cars you can get for the money. I got one as a little project and I don’t regret it at all!
Really appreciate that 🙏🏻 It's funny you mention a Boxster because I've been looking at them. We had one in at work a few weeks back and I can't think of a better bang-for-your-buck sports car to take for a blast on a Sunday morning. The customer had the S and only paid a few grand.
Love your videos. Good luck to many more years of car fixing. :)
Thank you!
Merry Christmas guys.......I'm with you love the rover P6 but as I'm strange the hole in my heart is for 2 cars the singer gazelle and Austin A30. All the best for new year
Hi Guys just wanted to say well done I have now watched all of your videos and look forward to the next one I think you are doing a great job keep it up and i'm sure it wont be long berore you are at 100 k subscribers
Thanks, Alan 👍
Video after video you build lot of love for you and your nice family..always wish you all success and the best
Appreciate that 🙏🏻
Merry xmas to the pair of you and a happy new year think you need to push the rs6 to be ready for the hospital dash in 3 months and congratulations to the pair of you
I am very surprised that a you-tuber doesn't have dash-cams installed in his vehicles, they are inexpensive but can help when needed most.
Hello mate, if you ever need anything shot blasting, 2k painting, powder coating or Cerakote'ing, just let me know. I'm in the UK and would be happy to help out. I'm enjoying the content!
Good to know 👍🏻
You two are lovely together
Wish you sll the luck in the world with your new family and the chanel. Btw been watching since the mini.
Thanks for the support 🤝
Totally agree about the VW golf, I have a Jetta almost exactly the same, and its the blandest car ever made. Doesn't even have a coolant temperature gauge. Congrats from California.
@ 44:35 I think "scrow up" is a very good way to put it. Growing up as you screw along.
I’m older than you and grew up with the Zephyr Zodiac and P6 type cars. You are absolutely right. Even at the time the Zodiac and Zephyr in all their guises were hateful cars!! They were unreliable beyond a joke. Also P6s were just lovely. Obviously the V8 are so sought after but, at the time, if you weren’t a hedge fund manager, you just wouldn’t have been able to afford them, even back then. If you regret selling the P6, you would never sleep again if you got rid of Peugeot.! They are DEFINITELY more rare than the Rover!! I owned a 505 gti estate back in the day and I still miss it.
You sound like a proper nice guy and I like you ethos over cars, I have a old 53 plate Stilo Jtd estate that I need to save, I had her on the road for 5 if not 6 years, Needs welding on the sills and some other stuff. You may have just given me the kick up the arse to get her started and sorted out.
Thanks for the kind words. You definitely need to save the old girl - good luck!
7am on 26thDec, what a nice morning treat , thanks for your video
Our pleasure!
Brilliant channel this mate
Tack!
Thanks so much for your generosity 🤝
