In this video we take a look at the brand new Wampler Moxie overdrive pedal. Based on the classic TS10 Tube Screamer circuit and known for its boosted mid range frequencies, this pedal delivers everything from clean sustain, woody blues tones to searing lead overdrive. But that's not all! Brian Wampler has also included two additional switches for more tonal shaping; a voice switch to scoop the mid range, plus a fat switch to increase the gain. In this video we take a look at everything from single coil blues tones all the way up to metal tones, using the Moxie to push and tighten up a driven MESA Mini Rectifier. I have also put together a Classic/Blues Rock style track that makes use of many of the tonal colours available with in this powerful little drive pedal.

I have to say after many tests that the amp , speaker and guitar/pickups play a role but mostly its in the EAR of the beholder so to speak - having said this for les paul with PAFs and 6505 the pinnacle for me is Ibanez TS9 - i have found nothing better , not Klon clones ( the 2nd best) nor SD1 nor any other tubescreamers - however Moxie looks promising ….

Thanks Joseph!! I was a little unsure about the pedal at first, but after working with it prior to the video I fell in love with it.
