'Hiya, it's Tom Quayle here and today I've got an empty Ribena carton with some garden twine going through the radio from a 90's Corsa and I'm going to convince you that you too can sound like heaven crying through the same gear as me'
Tom makes outrageously great tone and playing through anything/everything he plays through!
When Tom Quaye talks tone, I definitely listen.
Thumbs in the chat for those who watch product reviews just to hear what Tom is going to play.
That's a lot of versatility. Tom I've used your signature Fusion pedal on my board. It's been a work horse. With all the screamers out there it can be overwhelming. But I've been very happy with the Wampler pedals I have. Sounds like this may be another one.
Ive watched a lot of effect videos and let me say your playing skills are up there with satriani. wow. impressive!!
Sounds great. Love the form factor.
Man.... You are one incredible musician!!✨✨
This sounds great! Reacts well with your style
Awesome tones and playing. Great review.
Great, comprehensive demo, Tom. Appreciate it. My curiosity is always piqued by Brian's kit, which always seems exceptional.
Great tone!!
My gosh, Tom, you killed it again! What an impressive demo, and your tone is, as always, one of the best on UA-cam. It seems that everything you play sounds just amazing. I frequently check out other reviews of the same equipment and they often just don't come off nearly as impressive. There must be some special mojo in those fingers of yours. 🙂
I like that you are using a phone holder for the pedal. I may have to steal this for my demo :)
Beautiful playing. And great sounding pedal. Be well!
Absolute killer demo!
Great playing, great pedal and a really nice amp!
Great video, alot of good info here. Sadly, I already see all the members aka trolls on TGP tearing this pedal apart - on the bright side that just confirms it's, indeed, a GREAT pedal. I ordered mine today 🎸
TheGearPage trolls like Chronic Fatigue and Jim Marciano are already whining about comments that never existed on a certain Moxie video. It always cracks me up how people refuse to operate in reality 😂
Hey man, nice playing and demo. Would you mind please letting me know what gauge strings and pick you’re using here? Thanks.
Finally got one 😊❤
Amazing sounds as always Tom. Do you happen to remember the knobs of your lionheart for the raw clean sound? Cheers
A semi affordable TS10 with wampler magic? Yes please
Sounds great!
I'd love to get your Ibanez that's in the background! It's a beautiful looking, and sounding guitar!
Hello from italy, i really love this tone to me it sounds a bit like Andy Timmons(especially the high notes sing). Are you using his delay in this video or any kind of delay/lecho/reverb? Id really like to know. Best regards and AWESOME PLAYING! Complimenti!
Excelent chop
Great sounding pedal and the playing is out of this world, as usual. But what I REALLY want to know is how you came accross this random brazilian cable brand.
I am literally a Wampler addict lol
Oh wow another drive pedal .
Thank you Tom. Amazing sounding demo of this great pedal. Can I ask about your amp setup please. You mentioned you are using the Lionheart but into a cab in another room mic'd up. I am looking at an amp switcher to do a similar thing as I had too many combo's but needed space. I sold my L5T 1x12 and L20T 2x12 and just wish to use my 4x12 with multiple Celestion drivers loaded but not running them all at once. I have 2 x Alnico Blue, a Greenback and a V30 loaded. I watched your video on the amp switcher which I think is the next thing I need. I sourced an L5H 5 watt head and am building a 50 watt Plexi the same as the one you are building. I have an IRTX 15 watt and an IRTSLS.
I just wondered why you would have the 2x12 but not use the drivers apart from keeping the level down in your studio room. I take it you use the 2x12 on the road but thought maybe you would just have the head version to save space. Of course that would mean having two versions of the same amp which is just another expense. I love the loinhearts but needed the space and don't have a separate cab room.... yet!
How are you getting on with the Plexi?
I love your playing do have guitar lesson for fast run patterns
I literally almost ordered a at-10
Dude, I love this pedal! How many watts is it? does it come with speakers? Asking for a friend
Wayne Ward lol
Do you use a compressor?
tube screamers sound different when tom is using them
Hey Tom. How do you set up your delay for that sound? Also, Compressor before or after the moxie?
This didn’t really tell me much about the pedal as it was mainly just about how fast can you play.
The music most people listen to doesn’t sound like the Flight of the 10 Million Bumblebees.
Just keep their simple so we can understand more clearly what we are buying.
Can it mayer?
Wow, with all that Reverb it sounded like you were playing a single coil Telecaster. I wanted to hear the High gain, but with all that Reverb and delay on there but all sounded the same to me, and I've been playing for 47 years. Next time try using a little less Reverb and delay so we can actually hear the Nuance of the pedal. Great video quality. Good luck.
its pretty noisy: Im gonna try my 25€ Rowin Tube Drive with either a EHX Silencer or DemonFX Precision(also has a gate) after it and hear what happens! I normally dont need gates, but the Rowins drive sounds soo good I want moore of it!
Cheers, Kimmo😎😎
I don’t hear any noise
nice, funny head
I love Wampler pedals but think a third grader could do their pedal art designs better. If I had Wampler pedals, they’d all be sanded down and repainted.
Great tones and playing- as usual- but as a working guitarist I hate "toggle switches" to engage a pedal feature- if it's not foot-switchable- it's useless as a feature on a pedal board during a live gig. Why not just add two more foot switches to allow the player to engage the feature ? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - I'm not going to bend down over and over mid show to turn something like that on and off- so it means I have to decide what "feature" I want on or off for the whole set- It's not just Wampler- way too many pedals have toggles like that- they're useless without footswitches to engage and disengage.
Tom?
I hate you...
Signed...
A frustated guitar player.
