Man this show looks good. Fuuuckin real good. From the US, clicked it thinking it was someone else. My angry father was on tv show. Who’d thought, lol. Good acting. One of you guys already said it, I thought it was a real life documentary.
Father and son friendship is dead in the water. It's all about getting on top of things with each other against each other. Showing whose boss around until ends in disaster.

He used to be nicer. They keep bringing him back every few years. His return storylines keep getting darker though. I wonder how much longer they'll be able to keep bringing him back.

Shame Jim and Steve never rebuilt there bridges. I'd love to see Jim return and reunite but I don't think that could happen after the actor expressed there feelings.
They should bring Jim back for another return. I know Liz is not coming back but does anyone else agree with me that they could still bring back Jim even though Liz isn't there as they could still come up with a great storyline for him without Liz. He could come back to try and make amends with Steve after hearing of his Grandson's death and wanting to make up for his appalling behaviour a couple of years back and he could get to know Emma.
They sort of ruined Jim on his last return, pretending his much younger girlfriend was his dead daughter swapped in the hospital to get his revenge on Liz and Steve. I think that was out of character even for Jim and it was a crap plot anyway.
Back when Steve was a proper strong character with decent stories rather than some sort of clown/court jester like he is now
