Looks like she became disabled and could no longer manage the stairs. Explains the lack of clothes upstairs and why it was tidier up there. Hence why the sofa in the makeshift kitchen is so dirty, I expect she slept on it. I think she lived in those first few rooms for probably quite a few years. Probably died there too. I've seen this before, no family to look after her, husband probably died a few decades earlier. The garage showed a very organised mind. The two sides of possible OCD, organised but unable to throw anything away.
I felt very emotional looking through this lovely little home. All those keepsakes and memories, a lifetime of them, now just left to gather dust, so sad isn't it. Horses were their lives, they adored them, they didnt have children but possibly had a family members children over to stay occasionally. They had dog kennels and an aviary but loved all animals and possibly preferred spending time with them to socialising with people. Colin built all those outhouses himself and was a great little handyman who could do anything. They loved their garden but got too old to maintain it eventually. Barbara passed away first, Colin then carried on without her but like many elderly men after a long marriage, he missed her very much and passed away from a broken heart a couple of years later. I hope they are both together again wherever they are, bless them 🙏 ❤ Thanks for the video, loved it 😊
@@lesleybissmire8297 Lesley, it's pretty obvious this was a happy home at one time. Unfortunately, someone has been in there going through all their stuff. The energy here is that the people who lived here lead a full life, collected things they loved and enjoyed everything in their home. It must have been a fantastic place in it's day.
Amazing place, looks to me as if the Lady (Barbara) died and he just moved out into his man cave then the workshop and left all her ornaments and trinkets etc.just where she left them. It would have taken many years to acquire all that stuff and the home looked as if at one stage it would have been beautiful. Thanks Adam.

@@gabrieleurban90 Well, perhaps you could be correct. Hoarders collect things in excess too, I guess. But I knew an actual hoarder that collected disposable items, such as empty food packaging, empty cans ( not recyclables) empty food containers ( not Tupperware, or anything of substance) empty cardboard boxes, dirty cat litter, etc. That woman was not right upstairs anyway, but that really took the cake, if you know what I mean. So when I think of hoarders, I compare them with her, and figure that at least most hoarders collect things of substance, and value, unlike her. She kept re-using dirty cat litter, just by rinsing it, and that surely did not work. I told her it cannot be cleaned, and re-used. Poor cats!!! That lady made me sick, and so did her physical appearance. Yuck!!!
This is an AMAZING find!!! The garage with the second floor was soooo cool!! I think the young lady in the paintings are Barbara in her younger years. If you remember seeing the small colored photo toward the beginning of this video, it looks like her. Great find guys!! Take care 😊

That house was amazing. Obviously loved animals and like you it looks like they ran a kennels. Just can't get my head round these people just disappearing and leaving all their treasured possessions behind. Lisa would have loved this house. Dale is so respectful just like yourself. The garage reminded me so much of my dad...he's been gone less than a year. He would go into his shop and disappear for hours. I could just see a little old man just standing there....love this
They made use of every inch! It seems like they wanted to be surrounded by every single thing they loved… It’s so interesting stepping into the home of someone, it’s really seeing into their life for a brief moment.🙂 Thank you Adam and Dale for bringing us along 😊❤️
What a absolutely brilliant house! The love of animals is evident in every room. The house has an amazing warm feeling, you have done it justice. Thankyou so much for sharing this. The toilet roll in the microwave made me laugh! Xx
Well...at the end there I thought I saw a horse a little bit away in the field...but I realized after a second look that it was Dale! Great job you guys. And by the way, Barbara had a lot of Hummel figurines in one of those cabinets. They are worth something! I hope someone rescues this place one day. Fascinating!!
Thing about this one is from the road outside it doesn't look abandoned though, probably not had too many unwanted guests. The grass to the side looks well kept so the person up keeping that must be aware its abandoned.
It really makes you want to know what has happened to any remaining family. There were loads of pictures of animals but few of family members. All that stuff looks like their hay day would have been the 1970s. Enjoyed watching as usual.😁😁
Hi There Adam, Great filming and very interesting house and everything left, cant help but wonder what the story is behind it all as obviously there was family. The painting at the top of the stairs is called Tina painted by J. H. Lynch and very desirable today. So many interesting things all-over the house be hard work dusting everything lol. Thank you very much really enjoyed every minute. Hugs xx
What a beautiful home and land, such a shame it’s been left to ruin; someone’s life and memories. Some incredible vintage furniture, mirrors and the original Bakelite switches - all wonderful. I really hope it doesn’t get trashed…
There is something very sad to see what people leave behind when they leave this world. This person left this world, as most of us do, surrounded by life's souvenirs.
Yeah, it is sad. I'll be gone too someday. My place will be full of things covering many happy years, Most items no one will have a clue why i kept them. Like a glass filled with acorns. People will think; "how strange". lol.
Amazing. Fave quotes: "It's a microwave full of bog rolls" and "Even tho it's only trespassing, it's still a bit naughty, i'n it? It's still a grey area." Another astonishing exploration, Adam!
😂 I love it! I wonder if distant family has ownership. If they ever have an estate sale I would be interested in the Clydesdale/pulling barrels figurines. I also think the family raised show horses hence the brass medallions.
A couple of things I can tell you: The big poster behind you at 28:41+ of a white horse with a blue background was very popular in the states in the late 70's, early 80's. I know because I had one. :) Also, the sugar is probably in that fridge to keep out bugs which can't get past the door seal. Old, defunct fridges make great water proof/bug proof storage. My dad had one in his shop for welding rod and the like. Also, I didn't think it looked as dusty/cob webby as most of your abandoned homes. I enjoy your channel.
I really love this odd house! Glad you and Dale took us here. The garage reminded me of my father's. All organized by types of tools and types of supplies. Thank you for this very special find Adam. ❤

Maybe so many people living here. Family they have their own kitchen. Incredible brass collections. Amazing kind of house. Books all over. A lot of treasures. Wow I love those horses collections.
“An old American workshop” you said this as I was thinking it looks like my dad’s garage & workshop. (I’m in Chicago) The memory Brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for the dose of nostalgia.😘
Wow, restored this would be my dream house. Makes me think these people had such an interesting, busy life surrounded by animals. I'd love to know the history and what happened. Thanks for sharing
Hi Adam what a amazing house this is,so much to see and some lovely things, great to see it not vandalised, but looks like someone has rummage around let's hope that whoever's home it is returns very soon great explore thanks for sharing another great explor
Speaking as an elderly person, yes, yes it does. (As I look around our 2 story, 5 bedroom farmhouse full of stuff collected over the decades) Especially with only one heir who doesn't want anything.
This is only my third video and I am already depressed thinking that all those precious old black-and-white photos or just left behind rather than being passed down to the Next Generation. I became extremely ill seeing that vehicle because my father had the same exact one in Belgium. The Indian ironing maid and her daughter poison him with Arsenic and I was never able to get back into my home as she forged his name and gave my home to her. At that time 2011 it was worth 10 million dollars.
It's so sad how people can abandon their home.I wonder why.And nobody Cares about all those abandoned places. So many nice houses and belongings are left to Rotten.
I believe that the land is still owned by the queen and therefore cannot be taken over. It is very sad that there was no family to inherit anything or to clean up the mess and just leave all those prized Family Heritage possessions behind.
The garage full of tools really struck me. It appeared that the man of the house was well organized. His things were all set up properly everything in its place. Her things were every which way. No judgment just an observation. It looked like he loved her dearly but wanted his spaces away from the clutter. I always wonder what happens to people when everything is left like this. The one thing I do know is these videos make me want to get up and immediately de clutter. Super amazing explore.
Definitely a really cool place. You could see in the attic some burnt timbers, (maybe that's why they left). A strange but awesome explore. Another great adventure, thanks. Take care..stay safe..love you all.
That is a home crowded with many years of beautiful memories, crafts and conversations. A lot of people in days gone by didn't have tv's because they killed the art of conversation and they got more done, quality lives. I'm a 60's child and we had a b & w tv but we never had it on until 5pm apart from Saturday mornings for the childrens programmes
Adam it is obvious with all the bedrooms there were many family members that lived there. I find it strange as well that everything was just left except their clothes !?! It looks like the family lived there for many many years !! Hard working people and collectors for sure! Awe, God Bless them 🙏❤💟 Thank you Adam great video, as always!! NY Fan ...
The painting of the lady at the top of the stairs is the same one my grandma had. What an amazing find with never ending rooms and I have never seen as many ornaments in one house ! Keep up the good work
The garage was amazing, a step back in time. Would have loved too have gone round that would have took days too take everything in. Once again thankyou for sharing, and for showing upmost respect and professionalism.
What an absolute time capsule, loved every minute of it. The picture of the lady on the stairs was very common in the 70s. That workshop with the car in it was so organised, whoever lived there had pride in there home. Such a shame to see it left to fall apart. That car was from about 2000. ❤
Loved this very quirky house, i would get a headache in the bedroom with the four poster bed, that wallpaper and fabric ! Loved Dale, always bring a smile to my face! Great video, my parents had the picture of the lady in the 60,s she was called Tina if i remember correctly! Thanks for your filming sir love you so much !!
loving this house so quirky....Thanks for your usual detailed tour and let's get you to that 50k and beyond you so deserve it ... well done and thanks for the flower Dale ,-)
This is a really awesome house, buzzed out at how many kitchens it had in the place compared to bedrooms, had me wondering if it was like a gypsy camp with all those caravans and strange unpermitted extentions at the rear of the house at the out building's, Great work so hard to find cool places like this in my small country, Once this pandemic is over then look out UK here i come to explore 😁👍
You realy hit the jackpot this time Adam..wow what a treasure trove of life! Heart breaking seeing the decay slowly taking a foot hold..thanks for posting this gem of a place.💕🏡👌🍀
That was fascinating to watch, what a find! I had some of the horse ornaments as a child, plus the stain glassed horse on the mirror upstairs. Definitely animal lovers! would love to learn more about the history of the place and it's past occupants
Loved following you along on this explore!! My kind of place, empty it out, rehab it and I'll fill it with my stuff. I'd be drooling over all the old tools. Doesn't seem these folks were far off from being hoarders but then they did have a lot of room to fill and not much for leaving any open space on the walls.
Enjoyed this video. I think the couple lived their entire lives here. In the home I recognized the brass that you mentioned hanging close to ceiling were buckles. They were made to hang on a saddle. They might have been a prize sort of like a trophy. You were too quick but looked like a lot had horses on them. Quite a collection and a keeper.
So many rooms, loved the kitchen in the bathroom !! Then another kitchen and cookers in odd places. Oh dear it's sad how some folk live. Loved the attic above the garage. Thanks Adam another great explore. X
The 1970's set up shop in that house and never left. Seems like the place got carved up into semi-private rental units what with all those little kitchens around every corner. What a crazy property. Thanks for another great explore!
Re-watched and think it was multiple units perhaps their parents , their kids , boarders, workers?, who knows but so many little kitchen areas etc just a thought!! Brilliant as always Adam! ❤️ in Tennessee
Oh wow!!! This is truely a time piece… Absolutely beautiful!!! Where is the family? Someone needs to clean this home out with all of these priceless furniture, pictures and old items!!
Would be a terrible shame to see those treasured things vandalised or stolen. Surely theres some charities who would benefit in some way. These people surrounded themselves with everything they loved ❤
This person obviously loved animals don't understand why she didn't donate all her belongings and property too an animal charity why leave it to rot it's just selfish.
I have never seen anything like that. It is stunning that there was no family to claim the more personal items, like those photo albums. It was haunting and rather sad...but really interesting!
I really enjoy watching your videos! I would say this house was owned by an elderly man and woman because of the walker I seen in the beginning of the video and the way the place is decorated. It's really anyone's guess as to what actually happened to cause this place to become abandoned! Thank you very much!
As much as i like your vids i always get this sense of sadness about the past lives lived in these houses? What did they do, what were they like, did they have a tough life? Just kinda sad they're not around anymore.
That house was amazing! Thanks Adam. Wow so much to see. Can’t believe all the rooms! Obviously crazy about horses. so many memories in that house. Cant wait for your next video 😊
The toilet roll in the microwave was funny but by the looks of it they never got rid of anything during their lifetime and after it broke they gave it a new purpose, I think that's why it's such an odd house kept everything anywhere they had a space I reckon
Thanks for watching guys hit the thumbs up and that was the funniest live chat yet more to come

It looks like the family lived there for many many years !! Hard working people and collectors for sure! Awe, God Bless them 🙏❤💟 Thank you Adam great video, as always!! NY Fan ...
Usually when the clothes have gone means the occupants have been taken into care.
Absolutely stunning house. Very ,very strange house. Thank you for sharing it.
So sad to see all those photos abandoned in a chest someone in the family somewhere must want them
The painting of the lady at the top of the stairs is the same one my grandma had. What an amazing find with never ending rooms and I have never seen as many ornaments in one house ! Keep up the good work
Very interesting guys but so sad.
Hope this old house will be loved again one day.
Just so sad , all full of someone's personal belongings....thankyou for sharing guys
amazing wasnt it, glad you enjoyed thanks for watching
My parents had the same picture of the lady in the 60,s i always remember seeing it , i think she was called Tina .
@@AdamMark loved every minute as always, say hi to Lisa for me ❤
@@annacollier2936 thinking about it yes it was 60s
another wonderful and amazing explore Adam...
loving this house so quirky....Thanks for your usual detailed tour and let's get you to that 50k and beyond you so deserve it ... well done and thanks for the flower Dale ,-)
Thanks glad you enjoyed, nearly there now lol 😆
A great find boys, as you said Adam “rammed jammed “ full of memorabilia reflecting a family whole life. 👍
As a huge horse lover myself, I really enjoyed. Many thanks thanks
The horse models were brilliant
Amazing place, sadly left behind all those treasures and memories. Never understood where the people go and nobody to keep all those wonderful things
Hi Adam enjoyable explore yet again you and Dale make a great team...no disrespect to Lisa...I love her input too when she comes along 😉😉
What a amazing place loved the explore once again a true time capsule there were defiantly a lot of stuff left behind but anyway take care my friend x
Glad you enjoyed it
This house is absolutely bonkers ! Love it !!
It's like they didn't throw anything away through their lifetime, they just stored it all.
That is the most magnificent workshop! Thank you so much for sharing it!
Adam Mark finds the best places
So many rooms, loved the kitchen in the bathroom !! Then another kitchen and cookers in odd places. Oh dear it's sad how some folk live. Loved the attic above the garage. Thanks Adam another great explore. X
What a beautiful old place and so intact super rare these days hope it stays this way for has long has possible cracking vid mate
Great to see isn't it mate like you said not many about
The 1970's set up shop in that house and never left.
I love all these old places you go to mark there must be a few pounds worth of antics in these old houses. Absolutely brilliant
loving the close up shots .
That workshop is a total throw back of a time where everything was fixable and everything broken would be fixed....so cool!!
Wow. This house makes me dizzy.🙃
@@sugarsundae3400 I think in her last years her mind wasn't very clear anymore and she did not think of donating to charities.
I have never seen anything like that. It is stunning that there was no family to claim the more personal items, like those photo albums. It was haunting and rather sad...but really interesting!
By far one of my favorite places I've seen you explore, after the Sally house
I really enjoy watching your videos! I would say this house was owned by an elderly man and woman because of the walker I seen in the beginning of the video and the way the place is decorated. It's really anyone's guess as to what actually happened to cause this place to become abandoned! Thank you very much!
hi Adam, I loved this video, what a place....missed Lisa, I think she would have loved going through that house!
This is my 2nd time watching this one. I just love how charming this sweet home is. I love the cozy secret rooms.
WoW this place is beautiful
1 of the best explores, this house and land is stunning. I loved this 1 adam.x
I love watching these but it makes me sad thinking of the people that lived there and where have they gone so sad xx
Wow that garage was epic! Layers and layers of tools. Thanks for documenting this amazing place !
Cant wait for your next video 😊
brilliant footage dude
I LOVE this one, so many lovely little keepsakes. So fun!
The toilet roll in the microwave was funny but by the looks of it they never got rid of anything during their lifetime and after it broke they gave it a new purpose, I think that's why it's such an odd house kept everything anywhere they had a space I reckon
I've watched this before and I absolutely LOVE IT this time round! It's so quirky, it's fascinating.
