I feel so old! I think of the 90’s and think that it just wasn’t that long ago. Then I count back and realize that it was 30 years ago! How is this possible?! I graduated from high school in the 90’s. This was a great time capsule. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. 💗

Imagine what the house was like when it was full of people. Sometimes I picture the family going about their daily lives, the kids up in their rooms doing homework, mum and dad in the kitchen.. So many memories of people's lives.. Fantastic place. 🏡👍

So many older items in this house its really amazing just the property that you love ... Keep them coming every week Adam i just love your channel. This house is very 1970s through to early ‘90s. A lot of the items are very familiar to me and it reminds me of the house my parents lived in for 3 decades (70s, 80s &’90s) The teenage bedroom with the Viz magazines, the dried ‘flowers’ in the hallway. The TVs are from the ‘70s/‘80s as are the teasmades!
Where has the family gone? I’d love to know the backstory.

Somebody’s been in the home tidying up, as the bookcase is nearly empty and there’s boxes in the dining room. I wouldn’t be surprised there are relatives alive that need to come back and sort this out. Maybe there is a legal tussle as to who owns what, or problems with the will? These issues can go on for years, and whilst people are squabbling, the property and its contents are ruined or stolen. It’s so sad. This place is stunning, another amazing property, if I had the money I would buy it and renovate it to its former glory. Being out in the middle of the countryside, with only wildlife for neighbours would be amazing. Oh well we can all dream 😴.

Estate probate is the death of many old places. It’s sad really. I’ve seen them locked up while family argues over who gets what. The reason I live in a small house, on big land. Its worth more, easier for my two kids to sort later lol

You’ve found a real, genuine time capsule!
When I see the crocheted doilies upon the furniture - it certainly takes me back to the days! This house is so authentic!
Allow me to share with you what I’ve had the sometime pleasure of experiencing in my long remote youth:
Younger people nowadays might likely be utterly flabbergasted to learn how much work, effort and care went in to making these various doilies and the other table scarves etc.
It was completely normal for every piece of furniture - or many, possibly most - to have at least one covering in place.
Each was handmade and often a matching set for one complete grouping in a room.
All are made of thin, high quality linen with the lace hand tatted and stitched on using needle and thread.
To keep them clean they gently shaken whenever the normal dusting and polishing is done (weekly)
However, it all gets a wash regularly maybe twice per year; being gently washed, rinsed, blocked (so as to dry flat), and lastly dipped in a starch & cold water mixture and ironed.
Then they were placed again atop the freshly dusted and hand waxed hardwood furniture, ready to continue gracing. the well kept homes of yesteryear.
And, That’s what I think about whenever I see linen scarves and doilies in these elegant old houses and homes.
THANK YOU for sharing this with us; a lovely trip down memory lane. Just splendid for an olden one like me to enjoy

It would have been a beautiful house in its day. I thought the coffee machines were in fact 'Teasmaid' machines. My old Dad had one you set the time and filled the water container up, the alarm went off and you could have the first cup of tea in bed on a cold morning. I suppose it could be used for coffee too. Thank you for this video 💕🇦🇺

To be honest with homes like this especially nothing seems to have been trashed etc then it would be in your interest to report this abandoned home to the council
The reason to stop others who may have different intentions than yourselves and trash the place steal etc
They can board the place up or even do a search on relatives

Unreal! Never seen a house like it. A big family of several generations clearly lived there altogether (im probably stating the obvious). Like many other comments have asked, you've just got to wonder how on earth did this house become abandoned by all the family leaving behind several (or hundreds) of objects with extreme sentimental value - such as all those photos in those boxes and the album of negatives too. Also, like several others have mentioned, surely there must be some relatives around somewhere who have connections or some rights to this property. The mind boggles! Also I was expecting some ghost activity to occur at some point - but you didn't do you usual Necrophonic check! But thanks for 40 minutes of absolute intrigue and fascination.

Really hope someone saves this house or at least the many fine items. The wonderful stairs are fantastic! Here in the states lots of old buildings are once again just getting demolished. Seems antiques and history always skips a generation. I love this home because there is so much quality stuff. Most seems to have purpose and not all throw away,
Perhaps the daughter died in an accident? Then parents passed 8 years after? In this crazy fast paced world it seems people forget the stories after just a few years. I have explored and asked questions about abandoned places and it is shocking how many have no idea / care about the history. Love the explores and respect!

Those things in the bedroom, where teas made, you set the alarm to make tea , as you woke up. They use to spit boiling water all over the place, my Nan had one for years.

Love this house. It does make you wonder about the story. There was clearly a large family that lived there so you would think some of them are still alive so why haven't the personal stuff been removed? Or the house even used or sold before it started deteriorating. I wish you could get some history on it or that you were able to give out a location so others could try to find more history.

Hi Adam, what a time capsul this one was,l can never understand why there is no one left in the family or even friends of family to leave this great house and lovely things left here, this place is sadly decaying each day and will be left destroyed what a waste and a shame thanks for sharing

Wow absolute fab place guys, massive, lots of interesting stuff too. Escargot is the French word for snail. It is also a dish consisting of cooked land snails. It is often served as an hors d'oeuvre and is common in France and India. Gazpacho is a cold tomato soup. The items in front of the window with clocks on them are teas maids, you could set an alarm on them to boil the kettle at the back and it would make you a cuppa for when you woke up. Beautiful find, loved this property, thank you both so much for sharing, was well worth the wait from the premier.

I love your videos!! Found you by accident and have been throughly enjoying your adventures! Lots of questions have popped into my mind as I’m watching and listening to your commentaries on these homes you’ve been exploring. I’m so intrigued with the history of the people who had to leave their homes and belongings behind, as I’m sure you are too! How do you gain access to these places?? So cool!! I will continue to watch, so so interesting!

I'm sure I see another orb. What a fantastic house. Such a shame. What happened to the kids? Some of that stuff brought back memories from my childhood. The green soda stream I have one of them an original from 1970s was mum and dad's. Don't see how anyone could just walk away and leave all.the memories behind. Could never do that. It's so sad. Would love to save that 4 posta. Adam your videos just get better and better ❤
