All this video series is awesome. It would be amazing if you do something similar in UE5 with dynamic lighting.

What's the purpose of adding lightmass? Is it necessary for lighting??

In my opinion, Lumen is much simpler, but the quality is a bit difficult to control.
Lightmass allows you to build more precise lighting environments than Lumen.

I correctly understand that this is a one-time baking of light? and after that you do not need to use resource-intensive Lumen?

@@DesignVDan The only question. how to make clear graphics? in the UE soap graphics, or in some kind of interference. by this template, you can immediately understand that the game was made in UE. in unity there is no such problem. in the atomic heart solved this problem. everything is very clear. absolutely clean picture, even though the game is made in UE. I couldn't find a good tutorial on UA-cam on how to do this. sharpness is recommended, but this is not entirely true) in general, if you know how to do this, then I would really like to see a tutorial. And most importantly, it does not affect the FPS in the game.

@@danlok6702 I know what you mean, it’s a hard to define effect though, not easy to know exactly what causes it. It’s most likely Unreal’s temporal anti aliasing (TAA) solution, TAA is known to soften the image somewhat. You might also want to try turning off some of the post processing effects that are on by default in the post process volume, tweak the vignette, ambient occlusion and bloom. There’s also a section in post process volumes called “Film” which handles the tonemapper, tweaking the tonemapper might help to get away from that UE look.
