@@JasonLegendaryArt please I want to know,u know if u want to draw with ur phone the grid will be smaller and the drawing will not be bold,in this case should I take times two of the phone grid so that the drawing will be bold ?
i love how you made it with whatever you have except other artists who buy's these stuff cuz as a artist i wanna learn how to make things with what i have not buy buying expensive art tools or the things i don't want and also cuz this video also started with beginner base which make it easy to learn for everyone, keep up the great work.
However it is beneficial to invest in some decent materials if you can. A good sketch pad and pencils. Faber-Castell pencils are great. Just a six pack with various grades is enough. A tombow mono eraser or similar is a wonderful addition too. I remember using an HB pencil and printer paper at first and didn't understand how limited it made me.
I kept on laughing and smiling throughout this video! Super super enjoyable. I love how vulnerable you were about your motivation for the drawing and how determined you were to finish it. I really admire your personality. And the drawing... beautiful work! You just inspired me to kill excuses and create my own hyperrealistic piece
Wow, Olivia, your comment is actually so motivating. Thanks for the feedback. But yeah we thrive the most when we leave the comfort zone. It's the reason I'm trying art forms I'm not used to these days. So glad you enjoyed the video. Hope to see you more ☺️☺️
@@JasonLegendaryArt You're welcome Jason! I went on to watch more of your videos too and enjoyed them.😊 I also started working on my first hyperrealistic piece, it's coming out beautifully, thanks to you.
I used to love to draw when I was younger... I drew a picture today for the first time in probably 2 decades, and I was really impressed with it. I thought I may just have a new little hobby here.... Then I watched this video, and decided to hang the pencil up for another 20 years... Thanks man!✌️
Damn it turned out so good! ❤️I'm a Beginner and I don't have patience like I just wanna learn hyperrealism in 2-3 months even though it is not possible artists like you keep me motivated to practice everyday
Yeah,, I'm happy with the results. I'm also lacking in the area of patience. But you know, you cannot be a pro at something without taking the time to hone your skills. Just focus on improving one drawing at a time and before you know it 4, 5 months will fly by like breeze
Awesome. You were giving me your experience of achieving hyper realistic effect on your portrait. I am also an artist, looking for such a video. But after a long search, I got to see your video. I got all what I wanted. You were explaining step by step how one can achieve this skill. Thankyou very much for posting this video. You are not only an artist but also ateacher. There is a good teacher hiding inside you. Thanks a lot. Let this good work continue. All the best for all your future ventures. May God bless you.
This is absolutely incredible! As an aspiring teenage artist, I just wanted to say thanks so much for motivating me! God bless you! I hope you continue to create this stunning masterpieces! ❤❤❤
This was amazing. Ive been aiming for hyper realism since I first started drawing in April 2020 and the fact you managed this in 9 hours of work is incredible. I’m watching videos of 100 + hours of work and thinking I don’t have the patience, but apparently you don’t either 😂. This video has also given me a boost of confidence in my own techniques and also given me a couple of pointers. I have also avoided mixing mediums thinking I should just stick with graphite, but struggling to get the dark values, and after seeing this I am definitely going to try adding in charcoal to my work. Thank you for sharing, this was inspirational and helpful 🙏👌
Hey Sian. This drawing could be more realistic in the hands of experienced professionals. But like you said, I'm not the most patient so I just did the minimal details. Then again I also cropped the image so that I drew faster, didn't waste time on hair, the second cheek and whatnot. But by all means experiment with charcoal. If you don't like it you stop, simple.. But it'll be really helpful in getting dark shadows. Charcoal powder is helpful to achieve smooth and darker tones. It'll take a little practice to control but it'll be rewarding.
Frankly I must say u know how to break down communication barriers with ur audience... loving it and most importantly the fact that they r not speed drawings. I've recommended ur channel to sooo many ppl. I can't find you on IG though
I've been drawing since I was little. The last 5 or so years I've been trying realism, but I've been out of the game for a while. I happened to see this video in my recommended and wow...I'm so glad I clicked it. This guy is amazing and this video alone just inspired me to get back in the game. Thank you for making this video, you got me so excited and motivated to draw again. Not to sound corny but thank you Jason, you just gave me something extremely positive to look forward to every day now. Thank you 🙏
I just stumbled upon your channel randomly and you have inspired me to get back into drawing, I always thought that I was the problem but really it was a lack of practice and dedication. I've got all my materials and I'm gonna try using this video as motivation.
Completely aside from your incredible artwork, I must say that you seem much more wise and intelligent than a lot of other youtubers out there, especially in the way you explain and describe everything. Also, you speak much better English than most non-accented English speakers I know!
Fantastic ! It really looks like an actual hi-def photograph. Your detail drawing, shadow and sketching is just amazing. Thank you, much love from Ethiopia.
This guy's drawings were the pieces worth to admire from the beginning, but what he did, a 'hyperrealism', is fabulous!! I mean you created a perfect hyper realistic portrait at the first try! Oh man, I loved your determination for making this piece. Keep determined, keep drawing and keep smiling!! Love and Peace!
This is a masterpiece of a video! Congratulations on your didatics and storytelling, video editing, and of course, the drawing itself! Great work! note: the songs are sick as well!
Really inspirational. I know that you now have all the tools you need! However, if you're able to accomplish that with the little you had, I can't imagine what you'll be able to do with more advanced tools. Keep at it bro. Well done!!! PS: Don't compare yourself to others.... just do your best!!!!
Excellent. I started more seriously sketching after attending school through “Art Instructions School of Minneapolis, Minnesota.” I started simply by making a ball sitting on a piece of paper that looking down on it looked like a real ball sitting there. I’ve been doing so many other things that I haven’t dedicated as much time to drawing in the last 20 years, but I was terrible at the ink drawing. Painting and Pencil sketches were always easier and looked better. Again Excellent work!! ✌🏻
