    Great video, Air bag guys should follow you,
    Why have 2 air valves?
    If 1 leaks won"t car be lop sided? I remember in young days with pump up shockers on the HR there was only 1 valve for even lift,
    My semi trailer air bags only have 1 auto adjuster controlling all air bags for same equal ride height and same pressure.
    Your thoughts?

      Hey Bullbar, my understanding is that if only 1 valve is fitted then the air will flow from one to the other which may result in a "tipping" effect. ie going around a corner or over rough terrain, the air from the pressurised side will move to less pressurised side and create more lift which is not ideal. Maybe your truck has some type of valve to stop this happening. That's my understanding but have been wrong before haha

    I just had mine done and wish i hadnt ... Cant even go over a speed bump slow without the hard bang at the rear. 10 to 15PSI . Worse ride i have ever experianced.. I hope it doesnt drive like it does with the van on the back .... I had the air bags that allow full articulation at the rear so they are not connected at the top only at the bottm ... is that the problem ???

    G'day
    How much did you cut off the U bolt and did you have to do it on both sides?

      Hey Geoff, apologies for the late reply. If i recall correctly i lined everything up and took measurements from the bottom of the u bolt before i cut. Sorry but cant remember the actual measurement.

    Hi, was looking to this to my Ranger Wildtrack. While researching, I was advised not to put airbags in as they can twist or crack chassis and we should just stick to a spring upgrade. Have you heard this or have any updates since installing on your Ranger

      If your car is overweight, this may happen. Airbag man has had these tested and if your weights are good, can actually be better with them on.

      As long as you don’t exceed weights and airbag pressure limits you’ll be good to go. They aren’t designed to raise the vehicle either, just to maintain original height when weight is applied.

    How do you stop water getting into the valves at water crossings

    • @vanontheback4419
      @vanontheback4419  8 місяців тому +1

      Hi Jason, the valves are sealed and have dust caps so no water can get in.
