Honestly, another badass moment is also from Eris, when Immaru asks Eris "who died and made you an expert of Throne Worlds?", and she only answered "Crota.". Damn. Like, GAWD DAMN.
I was pretty satisfied with this ending. Everyone was expecting Eris to go head to head with Xivu Arath, which would just strengthen her. Instead, taking a leaf from Savathun's book, she used cunning and cleverness instead, something Xivu can't fight or gain strength from. So now, Xivu is still a threat, but it's dimished now. She won't pick a fight with us while she's evicted from her throne world and thus vulnerable, this gives us some breathing room to go after the Witness.
@ThePixelBreeze I believe its showing how easy it is to kill her in the hive god form she is in. It's Savathun though aswell, she knew this was going to happen, that's why immaru was chill when she did kill her.

Bungie has ruined their lore. You can’t just banish someone from their throne world unless you are the Darkness, all other inhabitants only control their respective worlds. Now power has no meaning, side sin conflicts have no meaning, nothing is consistent or solid, the world of destiny is like putty thrown into a blender, everything can change at any time with no reason or purpose just to justify more product.
You most definitely can you just need to be ridiculously powerful, I believe Oryx banished Crota or some other Hive God from their ascendant realm. In this case Eris used Hive magic and all the power of her godhood to banished Xivu.

You can’t access the ascendant plain from everywhere, you have to have specific portals or entrances and Alak’hul was captured in the physical world. I don’t believe Alak’hul ever had a throne world either since we killed him after we killed Oryx and he only came back after he was resurrected by a ghost.

We get a tease of Savathun as a potential future ally, considering her backstory of being tricked by the Worms and the Pyramids, and she is killed off the instant she returns. Not to mention Xivu. Has been talked about as one of the trickiest Hive gods, is just insta banished from the throne world? I get that Xivu has bren talked about this "incredible threat" that will cause issues, but if Eris can literally banish her from her own throne world, why the hell do we care about her when we have an ancient villian who literally has done the most damage to the Traveler since Ghaul?
If you played the season you know savathun is still kicking, immarue resurrected her again after eris took what she needed and savathun left immaru behind as collateral for letting her go

But the speaker killed an forgotten, Clovis brey killed via wall switch, hell even the cabal warlord we fight in the dlc got killed off and he was a fraction of what he used to be like the dude sent us to the shadow realm and manipulated reality and his daughter couldn’t fight along side us for the last stretch of the game but hand off cabal leader to her because nepotism. And don’t get me started on the other bs … this is just lazy
Terrible writing, hyped xivu up way too much prior this past two years then realised they’ve written themselves into a corner with the penultimate ending creeping in so they’ve cheaply pushed her aside until they can fit her in. Seriously terrible.
